That's a movie that I would have never thought would be remade. If they come after Jacob's Ladder next there will be consequences
-
Close. It'll be Vince, Truth and Jericho.

The Hardys today: I will never not laugh at Titus' teeth. And it is now officially Towaza forever -
WRESTLING ON THE INTERNET NOT FROM THE NOW

It got a pop too! That second ref that runs in before the pull-apart took a big-ass bump through the ropes. This is also one of those matches where people are splaying on some really scuzzy-looking floors. It's a wonder they didn't end up with Hep or something -

You gotta love how every section of the barricade has a sign announcing "NEW ORLEANS POLICE BARRICADE" as if either 1. nobody knows what they are, or 2. they might get lost in storage. Also gotta love Hacksaw telling the ref "get the fuck away from me" right in front of the camera. Damn, if I didn't know that was in New Orleans I would have thought it was in Puerto Rico. They even did nut-shots to transition! To cap it all off in the last seconds Buzz is howling like a literal mad dog. That's some wild shit right there. EDIT: It's worth noting that that match hit #4 on the Mid-South set voting. Give it a watch. -
You wanna talk excruciating! I just knew she was gonna hit something and the waiting in those precious few seconds was awful.

The Battle of Algiers is on TCM right now, and I advise you to not watch it if you have a positive view of humanity and civilization, because it will ruin it. It's also decades before its time and brilliant, but it underlines that nobody ever wins where this sociopolitical shit is concerned. Nobody. Revolutionaries become murderers, anti-Nazi military become Nazis. It's a very real horror film.

The first thing I thought when I saw those (and the Fashion Files was the first time) was "of course, it's perfect for wrestlers, the waist zipper is just like a fanny pack!"
-
Those last 5 seconds are absolutely hilarious.

After this we need him, Liger, and Tenzan to team up as grumpy old guys that retired from the tourneys just so they can stiff young guys in the ring in six-mans

"SAND INTO HIM BOCK"

Nope, he's deceased.

Hell or High Water was pretty good. The end of many things were obviously inevitable, but getting to them was fun. Jeff Bridges channeling Dick Murdoch though looking like Stan Hansen, and at some points channeling the Dude (no cowboy would put their hat on their boot, man) was especially entertaining. What the film has to say about the current nature of American capitalism and society is spilled all over the screen and there's no way to complain about that in a Frank and Jesse James redux. I also have to add I watched it with my dad and that was some prime family viewing right there

I don't think that was a sausage, I think it was a plug of tobacco. Which honestly, is even more disgusting

Watching the Universo replay. Boy, Jinder is dangerously sloppy and stiff. I bet his push came after a bet he has where HHH said "you can't just take some jobber and get them over these days" and Vince said "DAMMIT, SURE I CAN PAL! ARE YOU SAYING I DON'T HAVE IT ANYMORE? JUST MAKE SURE HE ISN'T TESTED FOR A MONTH OR TWO AND I'LL HAVE A HIT ON OUR HANDS!" Then somebody told him about the India market and he started laughing maniacally. (his theme and entrance are admittedly pretty good) Nakamura/Owens was of course perfectly fine. Very nice transition into the corner senton. Baron needs to either stop wearing that sock cap or invest in some Bosley. -
I KEPT MY REASON BY RECITING THE MULTIPLICATION TABLES BACKWARDS~! Like everybody else here I grew up on West's Batman and though rewatching in recent years it seemed a little cringeworthy (I guess I've not been as innocent; also, weed would probably have helped) but seeing that again was great. I did the eye gesture as I took a shot earlier today in honor. EDIT: Forgot to mention Robin geeking out in the Batmobile. It appears that Burt Ward might've been touching himself in the scenes they didn't show. Also, this!

Maybe Family Guy will do a Mayor West funeral episode that won't stink for a change RIP

Yeah. After watching that Naito match last night, Elgin deserves way better (like Tanahashi's spot in the IC belt tourney). -
Which should I watch first? The mask match?
-
You know what, that's pretty interesting. I was too busy digging on the FX and waiting for what was gonna hit next to think about any of the subtext.

That screencap of Bull and Akira is boss, btw
