  1. have they announced when the first issue of Wonder Woman '77 is due to be released? every place i look just has "december" listed from when it was originally announced.
  2. i never super followed TNA but would pay half attention to it maybe every third week. When i saw AJ Styles or Abyss on, i would always pay full attention. this was shortly after TNA started Impact on SpikeTV. dude always seemed to entertain and, even with his lame mask, made for some good visuals.
  3. won the first Elimination Chamber (Survivor Series 2002). won the World Heavyweight Championship (same event). re-formed D-X and won the tag team titles with HHH. won the tag team titles with John Cena. won "Match of the Year" Slammy twice: 2008 (Ric Flair) and 2009 (Undertaker) i don't know if that's HoF worthy or not, but it's pretty much all of his kayfabe accomplishments.
  4. i love wrestling and i love MMA, but for different reasons. i wouldn't be happy if i saw a UFC PPV main event turn into a prowres match.
  5. and i'm sure the amazing announce team would catch on and get that over to the audience.
  6. finally broke down and ordered the 1960s Batman tv show on dvd. i'd debated it since the price was announced, but i ended up giving in to temptation. picked it up on batmanondvd.com tho, since it has some bonus stuff with it. now i just can't wait for it to show up in the mail.
  7. picked up 3 Amiibos with a ToysRUS price match. Samus Aran, StarFox, and Pikachu. got Link Jr. up to lvl 50 myself. set up Samus vs Fox, each gained about 10 levels. set up a handicap match with Link vs. both Samus and Fox and watched the hilarity roll in. they're both around 25-30 now. Pikachu is at 12.
  8. yeah, Link Jr. is level 36 and whoops my ass now. "you've learned well Grasshopper" picked up more Amiibos. Samus, Fox, Pikachu. this game is a blast!
  9. i'm going to do zero research on this topic and submit John Tenta. i don't recall a Flair/Earthquake match or a Flair/Shark match, so it's a possibility anyway.
  10. because it was awesome when it was Chris Leben. Plus he punched a door and slept on the lawn.
  11. i won't be able to play it until after work tomorrow (or around 9pm) but damn, i can't friggin' wait! i already have friends lined up to stop by and play and it will be a blast.
  12. i agree with this statement completely. i *think* i liked it, but i'll have to read it again (and again and again) to make sure i even understand some of the finer points. beautiful artwork, tho.
  13. looking forward to reading that tomorrow when i get some down time
  14. i can't stand the minis in 97 wwf. max mini always fucking wins. man, that Goldust/Marlena/Pillman angle was awesome. King is a huge sleezeball. just knowing that he starts shouting "PUPPIES" every other second a year or so from this is the icing on the cake. i really enjoyed the hart/patriot match, up until hart won with the sharpshooter after taking like everything the patriot had and shrugging it all off. the headbangers were crazy over at the time. i always enjoyed them even if they weren't all stars in the ring. they were definitely passable. i'm a huge shawn michaels fan, but his '97 schtick is terrible. that said, the Undertaker matches were all excellent.
  15. You are a failure. well this got personal quick
  16. wait. there's a new Macho Man Randy Savage dvd and this is the first i'm hearing about it? how does that happen?
  17. i'd recommend searching out the rematch on Raw. either the next night or the next week, it's also very good.
  18. yesterday i watched Flair vs Savage from WCW Worldwide in April 1996. it was for the WCW World Title. how does that end up on fucking worldwide? also, here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w97na1ay2T8
  19. Destination America's ratings just jumped 300% due to people checking to see if they got that channel.
  20. YES! i love the Connery Bonds, but he is a total rapist.
  21. i think it might have been the reverbaerations from when Hogan slammed Andre the Giant. the whole building shook, brother!
  22. i loved heel JR and the replacement Diesel and Razor. i can't find who said it, but i agree that Kane was a fairly convincing Diesel and Razor II didn't even try. i would've liked to see the angle end somehow. maybe the replacements throw down the gimmicks and come out under their own real name or something? i dunno. they just disappeared after a few months and JR was back to his normal self again.
  23. agreed. kids don't like stuff that they feel is "dumbed down" for them. kids want to be adults. watch adult movies (no i don't mean porn!), be a part of adult conversations, etc. exactly. how many of us got into wrestling because an adult (dad, uncle, older brother, etc.) were into it? i'd guess a fair amount. i remember that my uncle and older cousin both loved wrestling and went to Detroit to see WrestleMania 3. my dad never liked the stuff, but any time i was around that uncle we'd watch WWF Superstars and i couldn't get enough.
