Deathbolt was already revealed to be a meta that wasn't in Central City during the particle explosion. A plot point that has strangely never been gotten back to.

I love that I sat through a whole real commercial because I didn't realize to the end that it was a real commercial.

It is interesting to see how much Foley/Steph are on Raw compared to Shane/Bryan. There have been episodes of Smackdown where Daniel Bryan only makes appearance on Talking Smack and Shane's appearances come across as notable since he's not on TV weekly.

Smackdown is so much more enjoyable to watch than the chore that is Raw and very little of that has to do with Raw being an extra hour. -

So finally bit the bullet and decided to stop being a horrible person and subscribed to WSJ on Comixology. I can wait a few extra days to read One Piece. I've honestly never started a manga with the first chapter, so I would say you can pretty much start anywhere and get an idea of whether you're going find it interesting or not.

Amazon is doing 50% off as they usually do when Comixology does a BOGO. This tends to be better for buying digital versions of TPBs since Amazon discounts TPBs while Comixology keeps them at "list" price. -
The dynamics are more like the post-Infinite Crisis. No gangsta Paco. The only noticeable differences to me is Jaime's sister isn't as young and a change in Brenda's aunt. I suppose my only two issues are that I'm not in love with Ted Kord so far and having Jaime back to seemingly square one with the scarab is kinda a drag.

Found Blue Beetle Rebirth a little underwhelming but that might be because I'm so invested in a version of the character that I'm not too interested in reading a square one restart. I'll probably check back in after a couple issues are out to see if they've done enough to make it new and interesting.

Probably the best episode of the Smackdown Live era. Between Smackdown and Talking Smack, Carmella's heel turn at least is starting with some intensity. I'll be interested to see how her in-ring style translates considering how much of it has been based around playing to the crowd. But Miz easily the MVP of the night between his segment with Heath and his Talking Smack appearance. I love the idea of Daniel Bryan sending challenger after challenger in an attempt to take the IC Title off Miz.

Mauro Ranallo is so much better on anything that is not Smackdown. I firmly blame that on the dead weights of JBL and Otunga.

For some reason I thought Itami got taken out on the card with Zayn/Owens I not Zayn/Owens II. Joe debuted in May and didn't get a title shot til December? No wonder Joe was so pissed off.

Except it was a couple months before Joe appeared in NXT. That said I'm totally down with Itami being the one to dethrone Joe. Send Joe to Smackdown and let Itami reign over NXT.

While I see Westbrook putting up crazy numbers, being a highlight reel staple, and making the MVP race interesting, I don't actually see OKC making the playoffs. I see this as the year that we finally see teams like Minnesota and Utah in the playoffs.

Because he doesn't connect with the audience with all the things in-between. He also needs a better finisher. The throw powerbomb is better than the guerilla press/standing moonsault combination but neither is great.

Summer Slam is the bigger PPV. SS isn't as important as it used to be, when it basically was the culmination of your major post-WM angles, but the Rumble is kinda a one hyped match card which is just setup for WM.

They would have to trade them to Raw to pair them up with Corey Graves being in the announcer booth since his whole shtick during their face time in NXT was calling them hipsters. Probably the biggest weakness of the WWE announcing is the lack of getting over the gimmicks of wrestlers.

The "Talking Smack" post-show might have been the best thing to come out of Smackdown. Hopefully every week will have Renee Young and Daniel Bryan. Daniel Bryan did call himself out for goofing on Apollo Crews name and also confirmed eventual tag team titles while goofing on the "Universal Title" name.

I feel like the Smackdown women roster's glaring weakness is less in-ring work and more women who can cut a promo/carry an angle. The only woman on the roster I have confidence in is Natalya and I'm not really sure that's a good sign.
