When I met my girlfriend, she told me she was into those 'ghost hunter' shows. She explained to me that she knew it was a work (she didn't use that term - i wonder if ghost show fans have their own smart mark forums) but she enjoyed it anyway. I told her I was into wrestling and it was an easy comparison. That was 10 months ago. Yesterday she beat me on WWE2k15. Ok, she was Brock Lesnar with 3 finishers and I was General Adnan, but still, she's come a long way.

I'll do you one better - I had Andre and traded him for Crush and Smash (with masks which was the deal breaker) The Demo Crush with mask is tougher to find these days than an Andre.

There needs to be an action figure thread again. It's fascinating to hear about what figures were available when and where. Like in England, the last series of the Hasbro line was barely anywhere. I didn't have a toys r us near me, I used to get mine from Argos but they stopped selling them around Razor Ramon and Lex Luger. When you say stupid and ridiculous things it has a tendency to make a person think YOU are in fact a stupid and ridiculous person. You should think about this and adjust your posting style accordingly. Which part of what I said was stupid and/or ridiculous?

I must say I'm surprised to see mostly praise for this show here. Triple H spoke entirely in exposition in his segments. When he's on the phone he doesn't just say "Paul, I don't think you or Brock should be here tonight", he says "Paul Heyman, I don't think you or your client Brock Lesnar should be on RAW tonight". Would it be that hard for the audience to decipher who he was talking to? Taker's promo really dragged. He was speaking as if he was reading it from cue-cards 4 words at a time. Badass Brock needs his entrance music to play to save his client Paul Heyman. Did I mention he was Brock Lesnar's client? Paul Heyman? I didn't really get the reasoning of the locker room pouring out the stop the brawl. I know 'H spoke to them and said their livelihoods were on the line but I wasn't sufficiently convinced why it would be. The announcers spoke over each other on more than one occasion. They are all devoid of emotion. I've no idea what the point of the Bellas on commentary was. We need to have higher standards, guys.

Why can't the Bellas just do a Tomax and Xamot gimmick where they finish each other's sentences and feel each other's pain? Because their acting is bad enough already?

Did anybody in the UK watch 'When Wrestling Was Golden' on BBC4 last night? It profiled the old glory days of British wrestling. Mick McManus, Jackie Pallo, Adrian Street. Then moving on to Big Daddy vs Giant Haystacks and the decline of wrestling' popularity here. The problem with the show was that it implied that wrestling fell off the planet in the 1980s when ITV cancelled World of Sport. It didn't even mention US or Japanese wrestling.

Well if we're gonna keep winning it every year it may as well have our sponsor on it.
