  1. This upcoming July? If his foot is as bad as he was implying, I don't think he will be ready by then. If it needs any type of surgery it would be the fall at the earliest I would think.
  2. Um...he knows that it's a 50/50 chance, right? Oh Rodgers. I like you, but don't be silly.
  3. Take it from a 42 year old. That childhood comes back. I play video games. I bought an Xbox One. I went back and purchased (now antique) the Dungeons and Dragons books of my youth. Oh, and I've never stopped buying guitars despite the fact that my entire musical "career" has left me buried in the red. You live once, be a kid when and how you can. Yep. Plus money situations change. Last gen my money was tight so I waited years to get a PS3. This generation, money is around, so I got a PS4 at launch. So it may not be a permanent change, by next year they will be under $300, two years around $200. And I never pay full price for a game. By then the games you want to play now will be $20
  4. Janis had 101 receiving yards on that drive, that has to be a playoff record, right? That is barely even possible.
  5. EA Sports is offering free access to the EA Access Vault to XBox Live Gold Members from January 19th to January 24th. Games included: Battlefield Hardline EA Sports UFC Battlefield 4 FIFA 15 Madden 25 Dragon Age: Inquisition NHL 15 Titanfall Plants Vs. Zombies Garden Warfare Need for Speed Rivals NBA LIVE 15 Peggle 2 FIFA 14 Madden 14 A week isn't long but should give me enough time to beat Battlefield and see what FIFA is like. Also I always wanted to poke Titanfall. I"ll be honest I forgot this even existed, only had my One for a few weeks but it isn't advertised anywhere.
  6. That is probably about as nice as you could hope for She doesn't have any say in which wrestlers are booked so nothing she can do about it. And since she is good friends with Takahashi she probably supports it anyway.
  7. I've actually never had any issues using the PSN store so I can't really relate. I find it more maddening that I can't get the free XBox 360 games through my XBox One, but I am required to use the website through a mandated loophole that I'd think they be able to fix (I have heard they are working on it). But I love both my systems, they are shiny.
  8. I know you were probably just throwing out a number, but both consoles can be gotten for $350 now (with games bundled), if that helps Hell, the Gears of War XBox One bundle is only $299.
  9. I just signed up for the Star Wars Smuggler's Bounty (as if I don't have enough shit coming to my house already), which comes with exclusive Funko Pops. Star Wars is one of the few I collect, so it should be fun. They only ship every other month thank goodness.
  10. They need to stop being mean and let Vader in. He has the "qualifications" and clearly it means a lot to him. And he still pops in from time to time so its not like WWE hates him or they are on bad terms. Give the guy a break.
  11. Makes sense. They both still seemed to enjoy wrestling, just retired for other reasons. Especially since Mio is married to a wrestler she is still going to be around, may as well get involved too.
  12. Rumorz was there was already a rift forming in the back, Alpha Female wrote a facebook post about it but deleted it. That was probably the final straw so to speak but I don't think everything was peachy up to that point.
  13. If Kana is an indicator, ridiculous in-ring charisma can overcome not knowing who a wrestler is/limited promo work. Although I do think that works better in NXT with smaller and smarter crowds, to be fair.
  14. That isn't a huge surprise, or I assume it shouldn't be. Tarantino has never been a big box office guy, his movies are a bit too 'out there' for the average movie goer.
  15. The ones I buy are typically in the $8 to $10 range. $12 at the most. I never get the special edition ones or the rare ones. Oh except I do have a super Stay Puft Man that costs more but obviously that was worth it.
  16. Well, depends on how he is. I thought he showed a ton of potential but that was four years ago and he retired due to injury. Hopefully he hasn't lost a step but losing four years is never a good thing.
  17. I hope not. Envy was tweeting a lot about SEAdLINNNG even when she was still in Stardom last summer, I think she is just friends with and/or really likes Takahashi so was being nice. Since they had her in the finals of the GP, I hope once she heals from her injuries that they have her back. Amazing how hinting to her on FB today that I look forward to seeing more of her in Stardom and her one word reply of "SEADLINING!" confirms my suspicions on that situation. James I wish someone in Stardom would write a book about what its like behind the scenes. Although I have a feeling I'd like Io and Kairi a lot less if I knew backstage details . We (we being another twitter person and Envy) were in a conversation chain on Twitter and he mentioned Io Shirai, Envy's response was "FUCK IO". I thought she may have just been storylining but... probably not. They were pushing her pretty hard for a gaijin so I just assumed she'd be back.
  18. Although it pains my soul to agree with Big Fresh ( ), I had trouble getting into the last TEW also. It felt more like work and less like play, and I like sims normally. Hopefully this next one keeps the same flavor but doesn't go even bigger.
  19. My love of chaos hopes that Coughlin goes to the Eagles. Please let that happen.
  20. The problem with Funko, and the reason I think we all have so many, is they are so good at making the toys that they know people our age like. I mean I can avoid the comics stuff but Fallout? Ghostbusters? Ninja Turtles? I need them all. Its almost unfair. And they seem too cheap until you end up with 100. They have to run out of things to make soon, right? RIGHT?
  21. I did a good job not getting too many of these at first, but I've noticed my collection is slowly rising, I am up to about 25 (still not as many as a lot of you, but a lot more than I intended to get). Since I don't keep them in boxes though I am running out of space so I'll have to stop soon at least.
  22. While I do think it has potential to be awesome, I don't think it will be flippable in the traditional sense. I haven't heard that it will be too limited of a quality (if it sold out in a day that would be different), and there will probably be a fair number of buyers that don't like them and will try to sell them. I wouldn't be surprised if they are selling used for 25% retail by the summer, not by the retailer but by early adopters. But let us know how it is when you get it
  23. I don't imagine it touching Avatar, I actually think it will be lucky to pass Titantic. Star Wars was always more of a US IP than a Global one, not saying it wasn't popular in other countries but even before this movie came out that was always my impression. All the prequels hovered around 47% of their total coming from domestic (which is around where VII is) while Avatar was 72% and Titantic was 70%. All this may change if VII re-releases at some point, like other movies in the top few have (Avatar, Titantic, and Star Wars). But I think for this run, 900 domestic and 2 billion global are realistic goals at this point (we will know more this weekend, depends on how much Star Wars drops).
