  1. I'm surprised to see that show so soon. Going to be hard to top that for biggest drop.
  2. smarkschoice did a poll for the Greatest WCW Matches of All Time. I sent a ballot and this was the find of the project for me: I prefer this a lot more to the Beach Blast 1992
  3. It's not nearly as good as the first. It's about half wrestling stuff (which is good and offers some good backstage WWE insights) and half Fozzy stuff which I personally didn't give a shit about. I liked both those halfs but I agree with everyone here saying Jericho's first book is the best. The three best wrestling autobiographies I've read are Mick Foley's first book, Bret Hart's and Chris Jericho's first book.
  4. I went out on a date with a coworker once and we went back to her place to watch a movie. She chose Requiem for a Dream and then afterwards she wanted to hook up. WAS NOT HAPPENING, that movie got into my head and took away my will to live. This was shown on UK TV at Christmas time. What a contrast between the film and the time of a year. A bleak film with one of the best scores, Lux Aeterna.
  5. Haven't read the IGN, GameCentral and GameSpot Grand Theft Auto V reviews, just looked at the scores. 10 from IGN, 10 from GameCentral and 9.0 by GameSpot. 10 by GameCentral is a big one, they don't give them out often.
  6. YES! Great main event between Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan.
  7. World Series of Fighting 5: Flair Flops can happen outside wrestling! Very funny. Thanks to epwar for posting this GIF in the MMA Talk thread.
  8. Haw Haw. Reminds me of Paul Buentello's KO against Justin Eilers at UFC 51: Super Saturday.
  9. Thank you. CJ Ross who scored Mayweather Jr. vs. Canelo a draw, was one of the two judges who scored Bradley vs. Pacquiao last year for Bradley. I remember watching that fight live and couldn't believe that verdict.
  10. Scarlet Spider joins Venom and Winter Soldier as a cancelled title:
  11. As someone who hardly watches boxing, who's next for Floyd Mayweather Jr. and who can beat him?
  12. Great post. The Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 25 was a classic, it's a top three WrestleMania match for me and a top five match in the history of the company.
  13. So there's a film about Princess Diana played by Naomi Watts called Diana coming out shortly (it's getting a kicking). This interview by Simon Mayo for Mark Kermode and Simon Mayo's Film Review on BBC Radio 5 Live has had UK press since last week as Naomi Watts walked out. The interview aired today for the first time:
  14. I watched about 30-40 minutes of this through the middle and was just "Seriously, what the hell is this?!" It's barely even a movie, really. But I can't front, I watched Here Comes the Boom which is at its best when it sticks to the formula of it's-funny-when-Kevin-James-falls-down-or-gets-beat-up and is pretty bad when it tries to be a heartwarming-teacher-makes-a-difference movie. Bas Rutten is fairly funny, because Bas Rutten is always fairly funny. Then, it ends on this crazy, inexplicably over-the-top patriotic sequence where Rutten's character becomes an American citizen and the weird foreign janitor yells "Viva America!" while the main characters look up at an American flag flapping in the breeze, which would be fine if the entire movie were about that, but since it's just a supporting character's sub-plot it's totally baffling and comes out of nowhere. But there is a scene where Kevin James celebrates his first win by accidentally vomiting on his opponent, so there's also a lot to love... I caught bits of Here Comes The Boom when it was on the Sky Premiere channel for a week before going on different channels. I liked what I watched as a big MMA fan.
  15. I'm a big Damien Sandow fan as well. Sandow wins with the World Heavyweight Championship with the Elbow of Disdain and brings back the cartwheel celebration.
