  1. This, so much this. He would probably get cheered eventually, but it would be a decent while. Semi-false, semi-true. Reigns was the most over Shield member by a fairly large margin. It made sense to push him, just not the direction they took after the breakup. When it became obvious they were going to rush him to the belt fans began to slowly turn. Then Bryan returned for the RR and that just made things worse exponentially. Also the story your describing isn't quite the same as Batista/Evolution. Batista was a guy clearly brought in to be the muscle until he realized HHH wasn't much w/o him and that he could be so much more. Rollins turned on his best friends to get an easy pass to the title.
  2. To be fair its sort of what they should have done with Reigns in the first place,
  3. While I'm pleased to see Renee that was a bit misleading to say the least. Calm the fuck down next time.
  4. I wouldn't really call Stardom the largest promotion. Not sure they have the most revenue either, but I haven't paid much attention to other joshi promotions' numbers. I don't disagree that the reasons given were suspect, but I'm not sure how much using youtube would have realistically cost them. Do companies pay for the space or does youtube just take a cut of the profits? While I agree they took the page down too fast I can also understanding not wanting to keep the youtube page up its cheaper than the increased price for the new site.
  5. The Stardom employee who talks on facebook said the biggest reason they left youtube was due to trouble with the paid subscription model's availability to other countries. Basically it was too limiting.
  6. Bayley/Bliss was good, definitely the best Alexa has looked. Alpha/Revival was great again. On first watch I still like the End match better, but this came pretty damn close regardless.
  7. I just saw this part and you somewhat of blew this out of proportion. He felt Asuka was so-so until she started teaming with Chigusa. He thought she got better from then on. He mentioned Yokota being a bit arrogant and some of the girls disliking her as a result. His comparison of Yokota to Fuka was purely based around training wrestlers where both only teach the basics. Essentially how good wrestlers got afterward was completely up to themselves and other people helping them. The "My idea" talk was purely related to Hokuto and at the very end. He talked about working close with her and regularly giving her advice. The person he was probably meanest to was Bull Nakano. Even that seemed to be based more around her debut time than what she became later.
  8. I was thinking of how much I miss Hustle after watching this. This probably would get me to tune in to TNA if it happened.
  9. I bought this for the PS3 3 or years ago, but have still yet to really play it beyond the intro, not sure why.
  10. So is Cannonball still married with a kid?
  11. Stuff like the Final Deletion makes me wish Hustle was still around.
  12. I just saw the director's cut. I have no idea what I just watched, but it was glorious.
  13. Didn't realize the shows weren't going to be on Hulu anymore. That sucks for my older brother.
  14. That is probably the one I'm thinking of. I only saw the first episode which was nice enough. Why does he crap on Asuka & Yokota?
  15. Not offhand. Its actually why i was asking. I recall seeing something about one with Dump's Army that I think I saw with a good rating, but I can't remember where and never found the match when I was looking for it.
  16. You have any 10-women tags from the 80s?
  17. I actually don't mind him as Lesnar's opponent. Its probably the few matches I want to see out of him. The sad thing is more his return to tv as character. Summerslam seems far enough away that Lesnar should recover fine as long as his potential injuries aren't anything major.
  18. The changes with the new season of D. Gray-man feel jarring, especially after having spent the last 6 months rewatching the original series. The art style is a bit too bright and pretty, taking a lot away from the darker atmosphere. I still have no idea why they felt the need to change the entire damn cast as I think most if not all of the originals are still alive and active. That one is particularly off putting as I think the new cast just can't quite capture what the old ones did though Allen sounds decent. Lena Lee actually sounds close to the original actress, just a bit younger which again throws you off. Still it good to finally be able to continue the story as anime viewer.
  19. Its always weird to hear this because they came across as dead for much of the show.
  20. They have in all of the actual contracted natives they should probably have in. Its just the lack of them using regulars like Kagetsu, Kimura, & Hiroyo that feels off. I would have liked to have seen Saori Anno in personally.
  21. I liked Viper. I thought her title matches were good. She definitely hits soft in comparison to the top women in Stardom, but it never really took me out of her matches. I'm disappointed she isn't one of the gaijin being brought in for the 5*GP. I've heard good things about Toni Storm & Ivelisse, but who knows how much that will actually transfer over style wise. I thought Santana Garrett looked mediocre in Stardom while just catching her short NXT matches made her look pretty damn good.
  22. Odd they aren't using Kagetsu or Hiroyo. How the gaijin there? I've heard of all of them but Courtney Stewart. Kay Lee Ray is the only one I've seen more than a couple of matches of.
  23. This is why we quicksave every 15-20 minutes.
