  1. I don't disagree. The problem is Grizzled Young Vets probably aren't a team that should be jobbing in the first round either with the build they got last year as a top team and Gibson being one of the top heels in the UK. I assume Time Splitters will be doing more later.
  2. Apparently officials talked her into coming back last month.
  3. BROserweights vs. Webster/Andrews was fantastic and easily up there with the best of Takeover Blackpool II's best matches. Even with the teams still left in the tournament being as good as they are I have my doubts anything else will compare. Grizzled Young Vets vs. Time Splitters was good and a little surprising with the Vets actually winning. Loved the Vets walking away from the handshake and Gibson getting time to talk shit. The audience may not have known how they felt about hem coming in, but they hated the two by the time they left. The triple threat was good fun. Glad Swerve won. Dug Garza on commentary. The battle royal was solid. Plenty of neat little moments. Dug Shotzi getting the chance to shine with who she tossed out and the finale between Io and Bianca was good. Looking forward to Bianca vs. Rhea.
  4. Emi has a promotion to run. Bea's actual full time contract is with Stardom. I actually don't know why they haven't signed Hayter. She hasn't joined Stardom, and her boyfriend works for AEW.
  5. Andrews and Webster are the obvious two UK guys though I certainly wouldn't say no to Dar in one of the spots. Hope Breeze or Scott gets the other.
  6. So when did Wrestlemania become a general wrestling festival that all the indies jumped in on?
  7. Well.....shit. The crazy bastards actually did it. Enjoyed the hell out of the crossover all in all.
  8. I thought it was only Daniels who ended up doing that. Didn't know there were others.
  9. There is bikini wrestling stuff out there with her and many others. It seems to be a norm for indy women.
  10. After finishing up Vol. 5 earlier I was about to mention how I forgot about Immortal Hulk. The art in that one is a wonderful horror show and definitely up there with the better art from the Marvel comics I'm reading.
  11. Just saw a vid on this from Houndish. Apparently its a puzzle quest giving out lore with each pattern put in. There are 19 and hey are being revealed at the planetary obelisks every hour. No one knows if this is just a lore addition or if it will be adding an exotic quest at the end.
  12. Out of the few I'm reading I would probably go with Coates' Black Panther offhand.
  13. They should put some of those translated promos on the shows.
  14. Never really felt like they struggled to include the parents, at least the father. Not sure how you could call the parents annoying when the kids were as bad, if not worse. I actually found the father the least annoying of the family. Honestly, the biggest issue the show had was the family it was supposed to focus on were kind of the worst aspects of the show.
  15. Not a Drew fan, but it was nice to see him win over Orton and AJ. The Truth/Heyman/Brock segment was amusing. Buddy/Black was another fine match. Loved how the third loss led to Buddy's catatonic state. The fist fight was pretty fun, and that Owen's running dive was spectacularly insane. Seth dragging Buddy out of his state and getting him to join up his team was neat.
  16. They mentioned wanting to do one last year. It will take place on 5/6. Seems like a good choice with it being a holiday, after 4-5 months of tv, and right after the second biggest show Stardom has ever run. I'm guessing its to help them gauge interest among female fans along. This was mentioned last year. Schedule was released then as well. There are two Korakuens in March, and the first two 5*GP shows in August will be at Korakuen.
  17. I choose to remember Buchanan as one of the five core members to RO&D.
  18. I figured that. I just didn't realized he pulled a Paul and was managing him in real life as well though I suppose its more Paul that is pulling Percy at the moment with Brock.
  19. I watched it after Blackpool II. It was a fun listen. Its interesting realizing how much Taker was watching out for Kane behind the scenes. Also never realized Percy was Kane's real life manager during his early days in the gimmick.
  20. I would say the issue is more the assumption NXT UK is supposed to be a developmental territory. Its been its own brand pretty much since it properly started towards the end of 2018. Because WWE does a shit job of getting decent deals in the UK. The lack of tv was not from a lack of trying. Full time, then zero. On occasion, probably a dozen or so. Pete Dunne is in NXT USA full time. Rhea was in NXT USA in the first place. She only went to UK to take advantage of her being over as heel due to Nox's injury in the second MYC.
  21. Looks decent enough. Morbius is a character I really only know of from the 90s Spider-man cartoon. I haven't really read much of him in the comics.
  22. I think I saw this many a years ago randomly on the tv because I have vague memories of it that resurfaced because of you and everyone else mentioning it in the Horror thread last month. Why did you all do this to me?
  23. S7 is what Ahsoka was doing right after S5 and will eventually lead into Order 66. They have mentioned the arcs to some degree before because they had already planned out a decent many of them. Order 66 will probably be the end of the show. if they had anything else planned I'm guessing it was what became Ahsoka's book.
  24. Dennis/Seven was the worst match on the show and still pretty darn solid. The women's title match was easily the best women's match from the UK brand so damn good. Loved how they played out Toni still crazy to destroy KLR while also testing the friendship between her Piper. I only wish the finish was a pinch stronger. Bate/Devlin was great and easily the best match Devlin has had on the brand. Saying that I still thought it was overkill with Bate kicking out of the avalanche Spanish Fly/Devlin Side combo. The ladder match was great stuff and one of the best in a while. Still disappointed Imperium didn't win. WALTER/Joe was good though maybe a bit much in what it took to put Coffey down. I like Coffey, but I'm never going to buy into as the same level as a WALTER/Bate/Dunne etc. The UE attack post match was a neat surprise though the response reminds me why I kind of hate UE. They are such contemptible douchebags yet loved by audiences. I know its not their faults per say, but its one of the reasons why I've been ready for the group to die despite liking 3/4 of them quite a bit. Anyays great show all around, probably the best of the UK Takeovers so far. The women's title match, the tag titles match, and Bate/Devlin are all easy early MOTYCs.
