I would take Draymond by a hair because of games played and I think he's a more versatile defender. But Leonard's ability to generate steals without getting out of position is mind-boggling. His hands are so incredibly good. You really can't go wrong with either. What's pretty messed up is that a third of the voters left Green off of their ballot entirely. How the fuck does that happen?

Rondo has been ruled out indefinitely with a back injury, so I expect the Mavs to win the next 4 in a row.

Ollie released a statement saying he's not going anywhere this year, so that one's out. Billy Donovan and Fred Hoiberg are both on the short list, though. I'm good with the decision. NBA offenses have evolved by leaps and bounds during his tenure and he hasn't adapted at all and shows no signs of doing so.

I really like the college radio station in Madison, but every once in a while the DJ will say something like "Hearing The Killers makes me feel so old" and I'll try to steer my car into a ditch. My girlfriend was in the hospital all weekend with a post-surgical infection. She's home now, which is good! But it also means I'm back on 24-hour caretaker duty, which is not so good.

Kyle Wiltjer and Jakob Poeltl will both return to school next year. Marcus Foster is headed to Creighton after transferring from Kansas State. I'm pretty sure Weber only has like 3 players now. The Thunder are going hard after Kevin Ollie to be their next head coach. He's got good relationships with Durant and Westbrook, so there's a leg up already.

Man, it looks like Thabo broke his ankle when he got arrested and is out for the rest of the year. With him gone and injuries to Milsap and Schroeder things are not breaking the Hawks' way at all. I'll be really curious to hear how the fuck he broke his ankle, too.

The dude in front of me at the pharmacy last night was talking to the pharmacist about how he read on the internet that you can get rid of bone spurs by drinking dilute hydrochloric acid and did they have any. The pharmacist, who is a very sweet little mormon guy who looks like he's about 12, was trying to be as nice as possible in telling the guy that he should absolutely, under no circumstances, drink HCl and maybe just try some ibuprofen instead. And I was trying very hard not to scream in the middle of Target.

Dang, I missed that part. That's also what Texas is offering Smart, and getting close to what Bill Self makes, although Self's contract has all kind of back-end stuff going on that bumps him even higher. WSU must be tired of being looked at as a stepping-stone to bigger jobs.

I'm pleased but not really surprised that Marshall is staying. Like I said before he has a great setup and is by far the biggest game in town.

Kelly Oubre is leaving Kansas for the draft. No real surprise there. I expect Alexander will follow suit in the next couple of days since his family is still stonewalling the NCAA. Alabama's backup plan if they don't get Marshall is Richard Pitino.

I'm reading Sarah Jeong's reporting on the Silk Road trial, specifically the DEA agents who were embezzling bitcoins from and faking murders from the guy running it and I came across this tidbit: I knew that guy was shady. Read the whole thing, because it is batshit crazy.
