  1. I played a ton of SD vs. Raw 2011 and 2K15. I think 13 came out during the period where I checked out a bit. 2k15 took me a while to get used to the counter system but I liked. I remember some of the challenges in the NXT mode were insane to try to pull off. The Sami/Cesaro match had some challenges that were almost impossible to get.
  2. Does anyone use the ESPN app on the PS5? I tried watching volleyball games yesterday and every time it went to commercial the video would freeze when it was time to come back to live action and then crash after a minute.
  3. This kind of reminds me of a few years ago a local radio station had a ticket giveaway and the DJ said he had tickets for Wrestlemania. 2 segments later he had to correct himself by saying he had tickets to the "Road to" Wrestlemania house show that was happening in town.
  4. I'm pretty sure the audio for Ash was off, like they didn't have enough time for a proper sound check or something. Also I'm not sure if her band was using a backing track or is they were playing instruments since it sounded so off. Getting the audio right for a live performance in a stadium always sounds like a nightmare. It makes sense why Wale would just lip sync to avoid any issues.
  5. Count me in as liking night 1 more than night 2 but both were solid. We would have hated this show if it were one night. Did not expect that to be the finish in the main event. Who goes after Roman after Backlash? Cesaro? Big E? There's also the return of Jimmy Uso at some point.
  6. I thought we were going to get more with Levi and Cartwright but I guess Idol is the next challenger again. Cruz and Murry did get a lot so I'm not sure what's going on there. Where are the Wolf Zaddies? I'm all for Jervis getting crushed anytime. Main event was good but did start off wacky, but that's the nature of triple threats. Guess Heather is really gone now. Also they couldn't tell the lady who was the special ref to bring a pair of slacks? She looked so odd in the yoga pants.
  7. I really dug the show. No match went too long. Lashley winning was a shocker to me. I thought the main event was great once it got going.
  8. Fun episode this week. Dug all the matches and nothing seemed too long. Still not sure who is going to win this tourney. Will we get Mox/Nagata and the cup finals together? That would be a fire episode.
  9. Were the Shibata NEVER matches that long ago?
  10. This is what I was thinking about. The WM tickets didn't sell out, right? If they ran some house shows in places that have lax restrictions, would they sell out? Not that they need a sellout to turn a profit but they probably don't want to run half full buildings. I'm sure someone in the touring department has done some research, and if they're not booking buildings then I'd have to assume it wasn't financially worth it. But thinking about how many people actually want to go to shows, I'd say there are less people that want to be in big crowds of course it depends on the state and even the part of said state. I'm vaccinated now and I just started playing sand volleyball this week and masks aren't required to play but are for being inside. I'm also feeling the effects of having COVID after Christmas (running and jumping in sand is testing my cardio way more than on a gym floor) so that sucks.
  11. It's WWE more than likely figuring it's not worth the backlash from external parties and their workers to tour. Plus do we know how much people actually want to see live shows? It's not like they were selling out before and they've ended up being more profitable by staying put and pumping out shows in one location. The logistics of running shows is a lot and they figure it's probably not worth it at this point.
  12. The last update was that their Day 1 patch was in Sony's QA but that was the weekend before last. I'd imagine we'd get an update before the end of the week.
  13. That Sanada tee looks like something a mom from the mid-west would buy to support her favorite wrestler. Maybe Sanada has the mom segment covered? He's a handsome enough dude.
  14. Another week, another main event getting stopped early. Also I'm not sure if I need Tweek being involved as a manager on the shows.
  15. I think the medical center one is so they can work around people trying to call up local hospitals which I can see. But then again, we know it's staged so what does it matter.
  16. Yeah, I'm pretty sure Callis has made that joke about Swinger when he still did the commentary on the show.
  17. Hot Stuff is an old spray that would make you more vascular mainly used in body building competitions. Russian D-Bol is just slang for Dianabol which is a steroid. So both are references to Swinger's sketch 80's character. I dug this week's episode. If Kenny tapped more into his AEW Character I think it would work better than what he's doing in Impact but it'll be fine in the end.
  18. I actually like the concept of the US Title and I assume they're going to start running small shows with the Strong crew with some ROH supplements. Without the ability to run shows or TV tapings with crowds it makes sense to keep the title on Moxley for now. They're running a USA cup again with the winner getting a shot at the US Champ so I assume Moxley defending on US soil wasn't a one time deal. If you keep Mox as the "Big Boss" of Strong who makes sporadic appearances that's fine. Then when you can get crowds back you can run a legit studio show and have a champ that's more frequently on the show. Edit: I just read the Strong thread and my whole opinion is dumb now. ?
  19. So for Ratchet & Clank, is it just running the ps4 version on a ps5 to make it 60 fps? Or is there a separate version?
  20. @IronMoose I'd probably agree with that and toss in Naomi too. Did Ruby have long matches on the indies?
  21. Interesting interview which matches with what other ex-WWE guys have said. The women being able to go 20 minutes comment made me think about the main roster and who could go 20 and I think there are more than Andrade is giving the roster credit for.
  22. I remember the Miller Red bottles (the beer wasn't red, but the bottle was so everyone just called it Miller Red) There's also the aluminum red bottles of Bud but that probably doesn't count.
  23. So the team that made the 2K golf game was supposed to make the last EA golf game but it got cancelled so they just released it on their own for a couple years until 2K picked them up and got the licensing. It'll be interesting to see how the EA game turns out. Also someone needs to come up with a halfway decent face scan app for these sports games.
  24. Finished off the second DLC of the Outer Worlds last night. Without spoiling things I thought the story was handled well and the enemies were scaled properly. Kinda wish this game had NG+ mode though. I've grabbed too many fun weapons and armor pieces by the end game that would be fun to use at the start (or close to it).
  25. Stopped by a friend's place for his Bday but we're old so parties end at 10:30 now so I was able to watch this tonight on ZLIving So my episode was in the wrong order again. Segment of 4 Minutes of Heat and Jaime was funny. The Howdy/Levi match was just enough goofy. Cartright/Levi again should be good. Main event was nice. I know a few guys from CWFH have gotten looks in AEW and NJPW (via the Strong tapings) so I wonder why Dan Joseph hasn't gotten a look. He'd probably be fun working with the LA Dojo guys. The Beef Candy stuff is getting weird and I'm liking it. They let Honest John show a little personality before getting tapped out. Do we know what happened to Super Beetle? Robin Shaw moves great for a big man. Monroe/Van was looking like it might have turned into something before it ended.
