  1. Whoever keeps giving Corbin extended feuds need to review their thought process. And I like Corbin.
  2. Anyone ever use a CSA? I had one a few years ago, stopped because I was too busy doing stuff after work to cook enough to use it but I signed up again this year since I'm home more now and probably will be for a while now. The one I'm using give you a choice of what you want each week and they'll deliver it to you as well so it's pretty great. And the veggies are really good. Although the two ears of popcorn I got didn't really pop that well.
  3. Bars in Milwaukee are still staying closed and most of the surrounding towns are as well since a lot of them are waiting for some kind of guidelines. Most of the bars by me aren't even thinking about opening up for a while since they pivoted to curbside or delivery and it'll take a second to transition back. Gotta love the Mexican place by me that sells quart containers of margaritas and writes soup on the top of it. The bar I play sand volleyball at is thinking about starting play at the end of June so we'll see what happens with that. Two of my bowling leagues got cancelled and paid us out, still waiting on the other one if they think people want to spend their summer nights inside a bowling alley, they're mistaken. I've been fortunate to work for a company that gave us a work from home option ahead of time since most of their offices are in places that get snow storms so the transition has been mostly ok, aside from getting tired of cooking more often, and I like to cook!
  4. I believe there were interviews or tweets from Mandy and Sonya after the Liv/Lana reveal that they wanted to go in that direction, but creative wasn't with it. I have a feeling that if they were on Raw, Heyman would have tried to give it a shot. I think this is a bit better though. SD is really thin on men faces right? You've got Bryan, Gulak, Elias, Otis and Braun? Ali and Gable are available I'm assuming. They're not going to break Kofi and Big E up either. Maybe use the uninjured Uso in singles? That might be fun. I need to rewatch that Otis/Ciampa match from NXT a few years ago, that was great.
  5. Yeah, every day is running together at this point. ? Although I think it would be funny if I decided to order it, go to the PPV channel and realize it was next week.
  6. Plus if there were a positive test, then you'd have to do the contact tracing which can be an issue. Depending on when Florida allows more fans at events, we might get there sooner rather than later. I'm shocked I'm actually interested in this show. Not sure I'm $50 interested, but that can change by tomorrow night.
  7. Dug the hell out of this episode. I actually like the Shida promo, it's real sports like in the sense that you can tell she's trying to gather herself for her response and the odd lack of emotion behind it because she's using her brain to remember the words. Nyla with the kendo stick was great. And I'd like to count myself among the non-creep Shida fans. JR always sounds so confused when he's trying to describe the physical characteristics of women, if he said it with some confidence, it would probably come off better, like we know Stantlander is bigger than most of the other women, it's ok. I wouldn't have figured Ford to be JR's type, but every time she's on screen, he's like a dog in heat. Excalibur should give him grief about it every time. Speaking of, JR giving Tony shit about Britt is hilarious every time since Tony makes sure to clarify that's his friend. ?
  8. Weird that two tag team wrestlers won it this year. I hope this isn't a sign of things to come for Kairi and Tucker. I started late and actually skipped most of MITB match. I got way too much enjoyment out of that MVP/R-Truth/Lashley segment. I'm shocked they didn't give more levity to Rey and Black going over the roof there. They just treated it as if nothing happened.
  9. Oof, you might not be wrong there. It just hit me yesterday when I was downloading CAWs for WWE 2K19 of all things. Jericho looms large over the company, he's a foil for so many people that I can't imagine the shows without him. I'd have to guess that Spears is featured more and maybe more "I respect you but we might fight" type of matches. Or PAC is higher up the card. Maybe Penta and Fenix are singles guys more?
  10. So the parts don't download automatically? Yeah, that might be a project for next weekend if it doesn't warm up here.
  11. Feel free to roast me if this came up in the thread before, but what would AEW look like if Jericho never signed? Would the Elite have an earlier split? Would MJF be the top heel? Would they have gone with Omega as first champ?
  12. I used to play the hell out of WWF Raw on Genesis. Power Move Pro Wrestling was a revelation compared to the WWF games at the time. Then my cousin brought WCW vs. The World and we kept going back and forth over who got to use Sting. Even though they aged horribly, I put so many hours into WWF Warzone (2 memory cards for more CAWs) and Attitude (I remember I was a golf caddy that summer and worked Friday/Saturday/Sunday, took the bus to the mall after and bought it from EB Games, got some bourbon chicken from the food court and went home and played it all night). And that awful Nitro game and the first EA WCW game since I thought it would play just like the AKI games. Then in 2000 we got a computer, I found out about emulators, then I want to say someone from this board mentioned Fire Pro Wrestling and I got a ROM of Fire Pro Premium X that was translated and it just goes from there. I split my time between Fire Pro World and 2K19 now. I haven't downloaded the parts craft DLC so I haven't touched it yet since I'm worried some edits won't load properly. I keep meaning to start a season in 2k19 since I bought the deluxe edition on sale last year.
  13. Since Impact runs a lean roster, if people are missing you really notice it. In theory, Eddie and RVD would be involved instead of a couple of these guys. Moose is out for storyline reasons, Mack is X-Division champ and Austin just had a rematch. Heck you could throw TJP in there. I"m going to miss Great Gamma doing his terrible ring intros for Rohit. The audio was really low on the Rosemary segment for me so I couldn't make out what she was saying, but anything with her gets a pass based on history. I can't believe that I'm a Johnny Swinger fan in 2020, but here we are.
  14. So the show was really helped by having a crowd even if it's a sparsely populated one of whoever. It's easy for me to say that since I'm nowhere near the arena or area. I'm sure the NXT shows would come off better with people in the PC making some noise. Probably not at this level though. I don't think I've seen enough of Janela to feel one way or the other. As a person that only watches Dynamite, there's a lot of people in AEW that really haven't been given something to really make you say yay or nay, IMO of course. One of the things I really liked about the Georgia shows was that some of those less featured workers got chances to work and establish something. Like Spears is a mid-card heel and it's established, and that's OK (maybe not to him personally). Kip and Jimmy got to do something, they're not going to shoot up the card, but at least you know more about them. Best Friends came off great. I really got to notice that Austin Gunn didn't get his dad's height gene. So we're not getting The Bucks for a while. And maybe not Hangman? I didn't look to see if there were spoilers or anything else. Also, the shot of whoever that jobber that lost to Nyla that had the sunset and the palm trees in the background was pretty dope. If we get an AEW video game, the intro needs to have a recreation of Sammy getting run down, like the semi truck scene in the I think WCW/NWO World Tour.
  15. IMO, any of those guys coming in has a value more in their personality versus their ring work similar to Cody. No one of them are bad wrestlers but they're not blowing you away with their work. I think AEW's roster is pretty full as it is, but if you're thinking about guys who can perform and are good personalities, then Ryder, Rusev and maybe Heath are people I would give a look to. I don't know if the women released were ever really given a chance to show what they can really do. I know this is the AEW forum, but I think some of these folks should go to Impact to since they're really good at getting the most out of their people.
  16. Second week of the Milestone shows from early this year. The couple of moves Viva Van hit looked awkward as hell. I forgot the Question Mark appearance and his Ka-Ra-Tay.
  17. If there's ever a WWE documentary about the Usos, the injury history is going to be a big part.
  18. So Sami worked all the taped stuff leading up to WM and after. But not once taping/live shows resumed? Just noticing since Cesaro and Nak just moved over to backing up Corbin. I hope Tucker is just being held off for story purposes and that they aren't doing breaking him and Otis up. I can't imagine being on a ladder on top of a roof of a 7 story building is all that safe, even with the ability to film it ahead of time. Props to those working.
  19. AEW was piping in noise during entrances, right?
  20. I'll have to go back and watch the Mickie/Auska match because I remember really digging that match.
  21. Almost done with Kingdom Hearts 3. Collected all of the treasure chests, the Mickey Emblems and cooked all of the items at the Bistro. That's as far as I'm going to go since I'm not a fan of the mini games. I will say that the Keyblade you get from finishing The Caribbean is great especially when it's fully upgraded.
  22. Really dug this show. One thing I noticed was that Impact's usual crappy sound actually helps with these empty arena shows since everything doesn't sound so empty. I've never seen Kylie Rae before and she was pretty fun. Impact's greatest strength for the last 4-5 years has been getting the most out of their roster and running with a reduced crew(even if they shouldn't) is going to highlight it.
  23. Again it's a fake name so it wouldn't be that person, but one of the Uso's actual name is Jon.
  24. And they're out of taped episodes. That's a sweet looking world title but it would water down the title situation, right? I'm still not sure which title is more important between the TV title and the Hollywood Heritage title, I'd guess Hollywood Heritage, but who knows. Out of the China matches, it was weird to see Reno Scum play faces in a match. I really dug Alids vs. Colt.
  25. I know you tried to fix the phrasing on your comment, but it still didn't quite work. ?
