  1. Sounds like fun. I subscribed to MLW radio's itunes channel but the Sullivan shows don't appear to download through there. Am I doing something wrong or do you have to listen via the website? Edit: Ah, it would appear to be premium content. Lame.
  2. I will be watching for A New Day. Main should be good and it's a good sign that they actually followed up an angle from Monday with Bryan forcing Rusev to defend his title in a battle royal.
  3. Yeah, that's a sweet deal. If you play with buds frequently Wii U is the system for you. Smash Brahs is a blast and you can use wii motes for up to 8 players. 3d World is fantastic and a great challenge when you get to the last few worlds.
  4. Yeah, they needed civilians in this one. Hopefully in the next Batman game we get some sort of story where the city isn't in crisis and you can just sweep the streets doling out sweet justice to punks.
  5. Had a few jumps but the best part was it froze and then died as Sting stared down hunter. We started it up again and Dolph was celebrating. Classic.
  6. Lanny says in the new Savage doc that Nacho Man was part of it and Trips burying him on the mic in 2002ish. Randy was kind of edgy and seemed to take stuff very personally from most if not all accounts, so it could be something that petty. Or not.
  7. Pat Quinn was a big chunk of my childhood.
  8. Yeah, I don't think it's on the table but it's a fun idea nonetheless. The other stuff will likely play a part in the Authority going bye bye. Didn't somebody post that Stephanie was pregnant earlier this month?
  9. Because there will be incentive to renew/not cancel the network with whatever bombshell they may or may not drop. That's not hard to see. A swerve to piss off wrestling fans. What a novelty!
  10. Workin' the marks in the modern era. It's pretty smart.
  11. I still don't get that argument. nWo and Austin 3:16 shirts seemed to sell okay. Yeah, things are different but it could be one of the things that the company needs to galvanize itself out of this boring mess they've been in.
  12. And boy do all signs point to an overbooked finish!
  13. Well, he should play for whichever club is in the premiership next season. Your guess is as good as mine.
  14. Unbelievably, we're entering the... danger zone. I'll leave it with that heartbreak although mine is much less surprising than Ralph's was to him. Don't want to start slagging off players or the manager.
  15. I hope they don't ruin McDavid. Let the Sabres do their best to ruin him but the Oilers have done their damage.
  16. From Egypt or something. That should be their tag line "We're the Asencsion! ... or something."
  17. Sounds like he's got a bunch of guests lined up. Apter was good and it would seem like Wyatt is going to speak out of character for next week's podcast, which should make for an interesting listen.
  18. I don't know man, hasn't this entire series been a "wait until next year" gig? I know this is 2K's first real crack but how many years have fans been clamoring that next year will be the year.
  19. On the one hand, I love the Kane debut and Vince's work there (so cheese). On the other, it destroyed the entire gimmick of the cell in the first fuckin' go. I think it would've been better served in a cell match that wasn't its debut. Then again, this is the same company that has escape victory conditions in a gotdayum steel cage match. Regardless of that bitching, that match is so incredibly good. If Bret had stuck around, I wonder how he would've pulled off a hell in a cell match with, say,... Austin. *drools*
  20. YES! And referee Rothburn Salley. What a great game. The Toukon series was a nice change of pace from the Aki games. The N64 New Japan game had that wicked animated booklet with the cool cartoons of each guy. I think I was most hyped about getting that when I bought it all those years ago. I wonder how 2K reacts to the mediocre-to-negative reviews and nuclear heat they're getting from their fanbase (apparently the 2K forums are a gong show). Do companies generally put more money into struggling franchises to turn the corner or do they just hope for a better go 'round? I know a lot of people said they were going to cancel their preorders but I think there was enough of a dedicated fanbase that they made decent coin. Going from what 2K did with their hockey and baseball games in the past, I doubt we'll see a dramatic turn about. It's pretty amazing that there are still animations from the first flippin' Smackdown game in 2K15. That's just mind-boggling.
  21. So he main events their equivalent of Smackdown week after week to the dismay and horror of fans everywhere?
