When and where id he say this? Awesome regardless He posted on his livedoor blog back in May. Of course when you find out who the Armored Titan is... well let's just say it is kinda obvious if you paid attention during the Battle of Trost, it makes perfect sense James

The creator of Attack On Titan has gone on record saying he based the Armored Titan on Brock Lesnar James

Early reports have Agents of SHIELD coming in 3rd last night with 12.2 million viewers. NCIS as the dominant winner with 20 million and The Voice coming in second with 14.4 million. I was genuinely surprised ot read that as I figured AoS would've surely gotten 2nd place. Still, those are numbers ABC will hopefully be happy with, now let's see if they grow the audience. James

Agents of SHIELD.... wow that was underwhelming as hell. I'd be very happy if the 2 tech geeks were killed in the second episode because they are annoying as fuck! The most interesting character is Ming Na Wen's and that is because they seem to building her up so when we get the backstory it becomes clear what badass agent she was. James

To Follow Our Hysterical Attempts At Recovering the Old Board...
J.H. replied to DEAN's topic in BOARD NEWS/FEEDBACK
I'd hate to lose the Top Videogames of [insert Era Here] results. Ditto for the film results. So much work went into those. I have spent way to much time on this board in all it myriad forms for close to 2 decades now... James -
On the Deathmatch topic: I remember reading that the reason Mr. Gannosuke and Kanemura had such big falling out was because they differed on how and when a deathmatch should be booked. Gannosuke believed that you just can't have a deathmatch right off the bat, it is something you need to build to (which was basically Onita's booking style during the glory days of FMW). Kanemura thought that it was better just have deathmatch after deathmatch. Of course the story could be bullshit but if it isn't... as a fan, I prefer Gannosuke's approach myself. The deathmatch should be the blowoff to a feud the same way a cage match should. James

One would hope Santa Nash would get all whiny about not getting to hang out with Bret Hart in Italy James -
After a decade since I read it, I decided to re-read the first volume of Sandman Mystery Theater. Man I miss how good Vertigo could be when they were willing to acknowledge they had ties to DC. I'm going to go ahead plow through the whole series again. Wagner and Seagle were so good at these stories. James

As far the actress from Breakin/Breakin 2 goes, let us also not forget she was also the one posessed by the evil ninja in Ninja 3: The Domination! James

Matt, if you can get past some of the fanservice, maybe the original Gunbuster might be a good thing for you and the boy. I say MIGHT because I still feel guilty about not warning you about the upgrade in fanservice from GaoGaiGar to GaoGaiGar FINAL... James

I've been working tech on on a play for one of the local theater groups in Toledo (for a dying city, Toledo has an overabundance of community theater). We have a local bar/grill called Nick & Jimmy's and they honestly have one of the BEST burgers I've ever had in my life. I had cheddar, bacon and sauteed mushrooms along with the usual lettuce onion and tomatoes... it was the perfect way to break the Yom Kippur fast! On a separate note: My Dad still lives in NYC and keeps me abreast of some of my childhood favorite restaurants. Sadly, the Yorkville part of Manhattan has been slowly dying for the last 2 decades or so and I only recently found out my favorite restaurant of all time Mocca on 2nd ave of 82nd street closed back in like 03. This made me very nostalgic and sad. Easily the best restaurant I've eaten at. Small and friendly run by a Hungarian family that always kept it affordable with HUGE portions. I'm equally disturbed to to discover almost all my former local pizza joints are long dead as well! James

What better way to celebrate KAIXA day then to announce a new GARO Gaiden projecy! ZERO gets his own 6 episode series James

HAPPY KAIXA DAY~!

Its nothat Wizard is bad, its that it kind of drug in the middle a bit. I was really hoping that they'd bring Phoenix back somehow, Once the story shifted focus to Koyomi things started getting better. It also suffers from BEAST being a bit more interesting a character than WIZARD. I was afraid that Nitou was going to end up dead by the end of the series, simply based upon his parasitic relationship with Chimera. Glad that didn't happen. Gremlin's backstory was the darkest thing we've seen in a KR villain... shit I want to say KUGA! It really made you feel like Gremlin was more of a threat than Wiseman. James

Otani and Takaiwa: Where do they rank among the best tag teams?
J.H. replied to Ellsworth Toohey's topic in JAPAN
Ohtani/Takaiwa were good. Ohtani/Kanemoto were better, they just played off each other better personality wise. League of Penises era Kanemoto/Ohtani are just the 2 skeeziest punks from the NJ system ever produced! James -
I can't think of a better page that sums up why Superman is important! James

GARO: The Tougen Flute - This might be the best GARO side project since Beast of The White Night. Hot damn was this fun! Everyone gets referenced in one way oranother (except for Thunder BARON for some reason, which is a shame because Kenji Matsuda is the fucking man!). They also totally dicktease the fanbase at the end by talking up some Makai Knight tournament where the finals seem to be Rei and Tsubasa! James
