I've read 1-8 of both Star Wars and Darth Vader. Both re infintely entertaining. Didn't know there was a Lando book. I understand there is a book covering Kanan from Rebels as well? James
-
Sooooo, do we talk about Marvel's Star Wars book here or another thread because... I LOVE THIS BOOK~! James
-
I have no idea what you freaks are talking about.

I thought the board was down, turns out I had just ended up in Byston Well James -
Nine days after losing my job of almost 3 years I got another job. It was worse (door to door sales is the pits). While doing that job I scored an interview with a place that better suited me and now I start there on 9/8. So rejoice, for my blushing bride can pay our bills and continue our attempts to have a family! James

The last issue of Eltingville makes me realize how comic fandom has sucked all the joy of reading comics right out of me. i.e. if I could just sit down and just read a comic and enjoy it, without over-analyzing it to death I'd waste less time and be happier. James

With this year's Toku offerings being... not very good, I've upped the anime queue. I'm late ot the party on Food Wars but how can I not love a show that combines Iron Chef, comedy AND h parodies hentai all at once? James

Umm, they'd probably turn on each other before the match even starts. The Police had a history of in-fighting with each other. Not just arguing each other either, actual physical altercations. Think it was more so Sting & Copeland. I think it's in the doc they did, or probably from an old Concert move. "Don't stand so close to me" was probably a code word they used on stage so they didn't punch each other out "Message in a bottle" was how they communicated with each other. Oh I know the history of violence involving members of The Police. It even tops the openvioence between Daltrey and Townsend in the 70s James

When Chris Claremont was at his peak, he could take something as ridiculous as Spider-Man teaming up with Red Sonja to fight Kulan Gath and make it work. Then he took it a step furtehr and threw in the X-Mn and The Avengers. The result is, in my opinion, the BEST Spider-Man story to not take place in an issue of Spider-Man (be it Amazing, Spectacular, Web or Marvel Team-Up). Claremont always hada knack for writing Spidey, he had the character voice down perfect an one of my major laments was that Claremont wasted his time on X-Men instead of writing awesome Spider-Man stories. Add John Romita Jr on the art and you have one of the best Marvel stories ever published!

I can still go back and re-read High Society over and over again and these panels always get me. God dammit Dave Sim really was brilliant at one point! James

I know bu I figure if we ever have a Six Man Tag with Sumers and Copeland involved you'd want to save that name for the team finisher James

Man now I want ot know what Sting would name his finisher. Ther eare so many songs to choose from! "MY GOD KING! Sting just nailed Rollins with The Soul Cages!" James

I thought Rollins Frog Splash was awkward as heck, like he had no control of his limbs.. I hate Frog Splashes that go for hang time, its why Eddie's was so perfect. It was quick and landed clean. James

They made a figure for "Macho Warrior" Ric Hogan? James -
I remember when Austin came back from neck fusion and he did the 3 Stages of Hell with Trips and people on the board were amazed. "No one who has had that kind of surgery like that should be taking suplexes/bumps like that!" was the common consensus. It definitely cut his career short by at least 5 years wrestling that way. Its amazing how Dean Winters makes the perfect TV cop but never gets to be the lead in a cop show James -
Rob Lowe's got a new series (on Fox...I think?) where he plays a TV lawyer who goes into law when he moves back home called 'The Grinder' Dammit caley, why must you dash my hopes for a Seaborn Presidency? If it ever happened I'd be so looking forward to just small cameos from the original cast (I really would expect Josh to be one of those guys that has retired but is still in the game in his own way... no clue for anyone else... well maybe Dule Hill can be regular cast as Sam's Legal Counsel). I just want Barlett's prediction for Sam to come true so we can all watch it James James
