Page's emergence came during the NWO angle. He was one of the first guys to turn them down and then feuded with NWO era Savage. I remember when he turned down joining the NWO. It was a pretty big deal because they openly courted him. When he turned Hall and Nash down that was the moment he went from lower midcard guy to Upper Midcard and eventually the Savage feud. The Savage feud gave him the cred to be US champ (even though it was a short reign). No guy worked their way from the bottom to Main Event quite the way DDP did. James

I think my main issue with this show is the writers think that showing what happens behind the scenes of a show with Muppets is something novel. It was done already, it was called The Muppet Show. They aren't re-inventing the wheel, they basically stole the wheel off a parked car and put it on an inferior car thinking it would make it run better James

I think as long as she comes out with her Noh mask and regalia her entrances will be awesome. If only the WWE would use "The Sun Rises" for her music, but I know that ain't happening James

In the end, I think why so many Yankee haters give Yogi Berra a pass, or just straight up like him, is because he was the Everyman. He could be anyone one of us and turned it into what the American Dream should be. He's not a tarnished hero, just a guy from Missouri that made the most of what he had and through it all remained humble and utterly genuine. All our heroes should be as pristine as Yogi Berra James

I thought Austin still had legit heat with Sting based off his neck/back injury in WCW? James

So question: Is the Steve Perry (former Journey lead singer) Fanfic site Perrytales still active? I've had a helluva time trying to find it. It was the very definition of a "trainwreck" website James

Smelly, the key might be watchign the build in Nikita's angles as opposed to watching the matches themselves. Nikita was half-decent on the mic. He was really great at calling out guys as cowards (and if got off topic Ivan took voer). The TBS show the week after Nikita wins the US title is great, David Crockett nearly breaks down crying on camera because Nikita beat Magnum. Ivan spends his interview time rubbign it in Magnum's face and then he and Nikita state flatly there would be no rematch. Crap I might just go back and watch this whole damn angle! James
