  1. There was an opening match with Breeze vs Mizark Henry that could have been taped for Smackdown also. The Main Event matches were all pretty good, especially Owens vs Swagger. Kalisto sucks, and seeing him vs Neville really makes me wish Neville was in his spot. Give the guy a mask and he'd be the best luchador in the company.
  2. "I got a girl in the castle and one in the pagoda, you know I got rhymes like Abe Vigoda" RIP
  3. Exactly, it's fn wrestling not a TED talk. When I put on WWE I check all my logical BS at the door, and go with it. Just try zoning out and having fun for a couple hours without the constraints of the real world holding you down. It's simple escapism.
  4. He was the former champion and he is entitled to a rematch, like every champion has had since forever. So to give him his rematch and still screw him, the Authority put Roman in a match with his best friend and a killing machine. It's pretty simple stuff The rematch clause is for a rematch for the world title, not a three-way where the winner gets a title shot. I think for the purposes of this "storyline" we are supposed to be working under the assumption that Reigns isn't getting a "rematch clause" for whatever reason. The Authority's goal is to isolate Roman, like they were saying in their opening monologue, they want him broken, beaten, and disheartened. They want him cut off from any support, on an island (Samoa?) unto himself. To do that they need to drive a wedge between him and his closest ally, Ambrose. So obviously the most sinister plan would be to pit the best friends against each other, and then throw a wild BEAST in between them and watch hilarity ensue. And based on kayfabe, those 3 guys had arguably the best Rumble performances...so it seems pretty logical and straight forward story telling to me. Just because people here don't like it doesn't mean it's not perfectly fine pro-wrasslin scripting, and entertaining to the masses.

  6. How quickly you all have forgotten All Hail The King
  7. http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/XPacHeat Hey, I dug X-pac as much as anyone else too...but wasn't he always referred to as having "go away heat".
  8. Yup, caught House of Traps this morning as the last gasp of the marathon. That movie was killer, the staircase that turned into guillotines and cut the dude's feet off blew my mind. Also, Death Race 2000 was fucking AWESOME! Some great tits in that movie, and President Frankenstein gets all the endorsements!
  9. This show was hilarious, especially the Goldust segment backstage with Tyler, man that was great. I love crazy whacked out Goldust so much. And the names they were reading off during the New Day match had me dying. The Uncles Of Undulation cracked me up the most. Please tell me someone has all those names written down somewhere. When Booker & Lawler were adding names, Lawler "how about the Harlem Heaters?" Booker "'C'mon man" Lawler: "Or howabout the GI Bros?" Booker "That could work" And yeah during the first segment, Roman KILLED that guy who messed up on the backflip over the top rope and fucking splatted him on the ground!
  10. I loved Wolf Of Wall Street also. Nightcrawler keeps sticking in my head also as one of my most memorable films of the last 5 years.
  11. 01.) Radiohead - Myxomatosis 02.) Florence & The Machine - Ship To Wreck 03.) UGK - Diamonds & Wood (Probably my favorite UGK track ever. Damn I miss Pimp C) 04.) Nirvana - Lithium 05.) Carl Perkins - Ready Teddy 06.) Cake - Hem Of Your Garment 07.) Beach House - Lover Of Mine 08.) Rage Against The Machine - Voice Of The Voiceless 09.) John Mayer - Good Love Is On The Way 10.) The White Stripes - Blue Orchid
  12. Thanks for shitting on my fantasy booking. I'm crushed like pineapple.
  13. Ratings for WWE RAW disastrous, lowest in almost 20 years By Dave Meltzer | @davemeltzerWON | Nov 24, 2015 2:04 pm There is no way to spin the Monday, 11/23 WWE Raw ratings other than that they were a disaster. The show did 2.95 million viewers, more than 200,000 viewers lower than what had previously been the non-holiday low dating back to 1997 when Raw was losing badly to WCW Monday Nitro. Part of the reason was the NFL's Monday night game featuring the New England Patriots vs. Buffalo Bills that did 14.26 million viewers, which is about two million more than football has been doing in recent weeks but nowhere near a record. It is the first time Raw averaged less than three million viewers since 1997. To make matters worse, this was the day after the Survivor Series event where the WWE heavyweight title changed hands, which usually would lead to at least a strong first hour. In case you needed to be reminded, Sheamus now holds the gold after cashing in his MITB briefcase against five minute champion Roman Reigns. The three hours were: 8 p.m. 3.19 million viewers 9 p.m. 2.99 million viewers 10 p.m. 2.71 million viewers
  14. What were the ratings? Were they bad enough to make everyone think that the sky is falling?
  15. Man this show is great and all, but it becomes a surreal experience when the network is doing the skipping around thing. It goes from 30 something minutes to like an hour with all the tweaking you have to do ffwding and rewinding and becomes the show that never ends. I tried the trick of restarting and fast forwarding to 5 minutes then rewinding to the beginning, but man nothing seems to work. I hope WWE fixes this because it's been making the Network unwatchable on my PS3 lately.
  16. Byron - Perhaps Heath will be sipping turkey through a straw Cole - Wild Turkey, that is JBL - Aw, Heath needs some Wild Turkey Did Zeb Coulter say people were talking about Meximerica on Grindr?
  17. Agreed, but the real problem was the horrible card structure with THAT as the main event? Why Cesaro/Reigns didn't go on last is completely mind-boggling. It's real simple WWE, do Kalisto/Del RIo, then the Divas promo, then end the show w/ Cesaro & Reigns tearing the house down.
  18. Looks like a lot of ways that can go honestly. I could see Roman vs Ziggler, with Breeze running in and screwing Ziggler for Roman to win & then have Sheamus screw him with the MITB. Roman vs Owens is possible too. Yeah, I agree on the final 4 probably being Del Rio, Owens, Ambrose & Reigns tho.
  19. Looks like the Great Kabuki's makeup, and I bet that's an awesome match too!
  20. Why would WWE ever release Bryan? He could be at the performance Center teaching classes like Regal or Brookside for the rest of his life if he wanted to.
  21. It can be two things. I realize basic psychological and mental health concepts are way above the discourse level on this forum, so next time i'll just stick with
