The Natural Posted May 8, 2021 Posted May 8, 2021 (edited) Had to throw Demolition Man (1993) reference in the topic title by Simon Phoenix. On the retro Smackdown, Cesaro beat Seth Rollins to become #1 contender to the WWE Universal Championship held by Roman Reigns. It will be Cesaro's first one on one match for a WWE world title which says a lot. The match is at WrestleMania Backlash. Jimmy Uso also returned. EDIT: Right date format as well, date/month/year . Eivion Posted May 8, 2021 Posted May 8, 2021 Always nice to see Teddy long appear for these things. Glad to see Cesaro/Roman made official. Not sure how I feel about them not just pushing Jimmy to join Jey and Roman again. On the one hand it makes sense. On the other I really just want a heel Blood Lines wrecking shit. Ruby/Carmella being super short sucked. Bayley's segment with Bianca was good. The Tamina/Reginald "match" that was more a lea din to a heel beatdown segment was fine. The 10-man tag was good fun.
Ryback Hates Bullies Posted May 8, 2021 Posted May 8, 2021 So I guess Carmella is still allowed to be 'sexy'. I actually thought the Ruby/Carmella match was ok in that it gets the Code of Silence over....they're probably setting her up to lose to Belair again after the Bayley defence and...well the only other options are Natalya and Tamina.
RIPPA Posted May 8, 2021 Posted May 8, 2021 This is good Especially like the look Heyman shoots Kayla when she says "manipulated" KO/Sami/Cass/Roman is quite the WAR 6 man of a car ride 1 1
RIPPA Posted May 11, 2021 Posted May 11, 2021 Meltzer mentioned in a update this weekend that there was supposed to be an Aleister Black vignette and Mia Yim was supposed to debut on the show but both were cut due to time
Curt McGirt Posted May 11, 2021 Posted May 11, 2021 Heyman doubling down by staring at the screen as if to say to the viewer "can you believe she just said that shit?" is priceless. Also, flat out saying someone is a prick and not getting bleeped.
