Gonzo Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 The final AP Top 10 1) Ohio State 2) Oregon 3) TCU 4) Alabama 5) Florida State (tie) 5) Michigan State (tie) 7) Baylor 8) Georgia Tech 9) Georgia 10) UCLA
Brian Fowler Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 Only one SEC team in the top eight. Brave New World.
EVA Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 And now come the reports that Cardale Jones is considering entering the draft. After 3 damn games. But it kinda makes sense. With his size and arm strength, he would certainly be drafted, in spite of the limited body of work. And if he elects to stay in college, there's no guarantee he won't be riding the pine behind Barrett again next season. And if he transfers to get away from that situation, he'll lose the year having to sit out anyway. Ohio State could go from having 3 great QBs to having 1 QB coming off a blown up knee.
APO Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 Think he stays, but I could see a desperate team blowing a 3rd-rounder on him and kinda regretting it when they see just how much work he really needs to be ready for the pros.
Brian Fowler Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 I don't want to put down what he accomplished (destroying everything between them and the title, basically) but he's essentially Tim Tebow with a better arm and way less experience.
Niners Fan in CT Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 I don't know. He seems to have quite a bit of poise and almost always made the right decision. I think he should stay though. He would be a project if he came out.
Dewar Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 Wasn't he the one saying he shouldn't have to go to class to play football? Might as well get paid to be someone's project, if going to class and taking advantage of a tOSU education does not appeal to him.
Dolfan in NYC Posted January 13, 2015 Author Posted January 13, 2015 I think that's a good place to stop. See you in the offseason thread.
