  1. RIP Peter Vaughn 4/4/23-6/12/2016. And still working (in Game of Thrones, no less) as late as last year, when he was 92.
  2. This is 3 years old.Sohe's probably doing more now.
  3. See the other thing that bugs me about this show is, I live in small town in England. Most of the people I meet sound local, but every day I also meet people from other parts of the country, or from Scotland or Wales, or France or Spain or Mexico or India or China. When has the Walking Dead ever featured a character who wasn't American? I know they're careful with their racial casting, to make sure nobody mistakes the Zombie apocalypse for an Aryan utopia, but how often in America do you go a full day without encountering someone who speaks English as a second language? The cast is very international, so why can't the characters be?
  4. This last episode was pretty eventful by the standards of this season so far. But you could still edit all seven down to make like 2 episodes without losing any narrative sense.
  5. See in the alternate universe where WCW won and the WWF went out of business? TNA still exists in 2016 over there too.
  6. Is she bringing Magnus? Or is his Jarrett contract that lucrative? You'd think Joe or EY would have put a word in by now.
  7. With all the people choosing to go back in time and play Skyrim again, I just have one question: Is Elder Scrolls Online terrible? Like, really unbearably awful?
  8. In Dragon Age 2, I wasn't stuck in the Fade bored out of my mind for six hundred hours. In Origins, I was. So therefore 2 was better. Also, I never really felt like I was in control during combat in Origins. I'd try to do the in and out, hit and run style of combat and get hit while I was massively out of range. And on my abandoned Mage playthrough, My character would die in literally every fight I got into (usually the whole team would as well). In DA:2, I'd hit the guy twice, they'd wind up a big power shot, I'd backstab, they'd hit air and I'd do a lot of damage or kill them instantly. Which would be what I was trying to do. In Origins, it never felt like what I was trying to do would be what actually happened.
  9. It's still better than DA: Origins.
  10. And I've finished DA:2. Spoilers: Now it was obvious that Meredith had turned to evil and was going to be the final boss... but why did they have Anders commit mass murder as a way of bringing about the end game? I mean, I'd barely used Anders or Aveline as party members during my game because I'd thought they had really important jobs in the game world and taking them away from that to go spelunking with me was selfish and bad for the city. But because of that in my mind he wasn't that involved in the Circle Mages vs Templars feud, he was off looking after refugees and renegade mages, so it didn't make sense that he'd be angry enough to go out and kill a whole bunch of innocent people... to guarantee that there would be no peaceful resolution... which in essence would guarantee that dozens of mages would die suddenly and violently. So basically Anders is the real villain of the game. Shouldn't have given you the option of sparing him. I think the game on some level betrays the player by making your character have to either be a mage, or have a sister who is a mage. So you're persuaded that even though there are plenty of evil mages in the game, you always have in the back of your mind that mages are innocent until proven corrupted, but the world persecutes them anyway. Makes me wonder what would happen if I played as a Mage, but sided with the Templars at every turn.
  11. Gordon Solie and Lord Steven Regal on WCW Worldwide (International edition only). Never been bettered: "Honestly Lord Regal, I'm surprised your opponent was able to get that reversal on you. With your technical ability, he shouldn't be able to hold you down like that." "No no no, Mr Solie, I'm just inspecting the canvas for an small tears or rips. Go to save the company money, haven't we?"
  12. The ending of ME3 won't affect Andromeda, because the Arks left the Milky Way before the Reapers arrived there. So Quarians are outcasts only, and the Geth shouldn't be there at all.
  13. Quoted for part 2 being up now. The head engineer for the Nexus is a female Krogan.
  14. It doesn't make sense for their to be Quarians in the game. The Pilgrimage is to go out, find something to contribute to the Migrant Fleet, and then return to it. The only Quarians who don't do that are the ones who get exiled for crimes against their own. So if you do meet a Quarian it'll be just the one, and they'll probably be a massive bastard.
  15. A cheeseburger? EDIT: Beaten by one fucking second. I blame transatlantic lag.
  16. So Sting is now the first and only man to be in the WWE, TNA, and WON Halls of Fame? Because on that basis, he's a more HoF-worthy Wrestler than Hogan!
  17. 1993. The same year DiBiase returned to AJPW... I think Dr Death might have gotten himself an unofficial 'overseas talent booker' gig at one point in there.
  18. You have no idea: 1:08-1:20. He invested in TNA.
  19. Late, but yes, he said that. Is this show the first time in Wrestling had a guy who uses the Rock Bottom and a guy who uses the Downward Spiral doing their finishes to one another, and you can't actually tell who's hit their finish because the actual action of being hit by a Rock Bottom is identical to the action of hitting a Downward Spiral? Also, when Eli Drake went for a Belly to Back and then dropped EC3 on his Belly instead, I thought Carter had reversed the Suplex into the 1%er. That was a well good match though.
