I don't understand people complaining about the finish of the main event. Roman dominated about 75% of the offense during the match. AJ took a powerbomb and backdrop through a table, spear on the floor, multiple Superman punches. If anything it took too much for Reigns to take him out. The idea that it was some sort of out of nowhere finish where a completely healthy AJ was made to look bad is utterly baffling. I won't even get into the idiocy of thinking AJ carried Roman in that match. Same people who still think Cena is being carried after a decade of excellent work I suppose.

The White Walkers bring the cold with them. That's made explicit in the books, maybe not the show so much. If they went to Dorne there would be snow and ice aplenty in Dorne. They do have a moon, Dany's handmaidens tell the old myth that there were once two moons and one broke open and dragons came out of it. As to the North they have "glass gardens" aka green houses where they grow food even in winter. Many people do die in the winter especially the elderly and children.

In the big picture this doesn't matter, and I know it's stupid, but when I heard Prince died I felt bad for Chyna. Kind of a Farrah/Michael situation where two celebrities pass on the same day but one totally overshadows the other. Chyna was really one of a kind. I didn't care for her wrestling but thought she was excellent as a manager/bodyguard. She was seen as legit and able to handle the guys in a fight. The circumstances of her breakup with Hunter and leaving the company and much of what came after was a real mess. Hopefully fans can get past that and focus on the impact she had on wrestling.

Yeah but this show is a nice consultation prize for those of us who have never been invited to one of Gene's orgies.

Piper's book was a huge letdown for me. Full of bullshit, but like boring bullshit. At least Hogan's bullshit was so over the top you had to laugh. Piper's is mostly just the usual "they were drawing ten fans, by the time I left it was drawing 30,000 and turning just as many away at the doors" garbage. Plus the blind, black, poor ring attendant who calls everyone Horse Cock is like something out of Central casting. IIRC he dies and Piper is the only one at his funeral.

I service and repair mail sorting machines for a private company that works as a contractor for the postal service. It's not at all what I figured I'd be doing, but it pays fairly well and is usually a low stress gig.

I've really enjoyed it, but corny humor is kind of in my wheelhouse.
