  1. Young Jim Duggan still looks 40, and could pass for modern-day Corporate Kane.
  2. Piper was even great on Celebrity Wife Swap - Maybe not as great as Flair His friendship with Flair came through even with the goofiness of the show.
  3. TNA did fuck-all with this show, but did really build up Jeff Jarrett as this top-level wrestling icon. It was like we traveled back in time to Planet Jarrett, only with Ninja Gail Kim. http://www.f4wonline.com/more/more-top-stories/100-tna/43823-tna-impact-july-29-tv-report-jeff-jarrett-hall-of-fame-induction Screens - In Jeff We Trust http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/0owexn1pvw56ofav908fkc9vw2bibrjb
  4. Yup. "Okay kid, you got your Jack Daniels? No!? What about your 8x10s for the cops? WHAT DO YOU MEAN THAT DON'T WORK NO MORE!?
  5. GREAT POWER UTI HAS SPOKEN Nigeria ban incoming.
  6. IT WAS A NIGHT OF FIRSTS which they didn't bother hyping until the show had begun, of course. Show and Dean had a fun little match that managed to make everyone look weak with the finish. Loved the Sasha-Paige match - it felt pretty much like an NXT match in the sense that it was a great match that just happened to have women in it. The Bellas tag match felt more like a usual WWE divas match, and didn't really help anyone even though Becky got the win. Cena-Seth wasn't much for the first half, but the second half was crazy. Seth fucked up Cena's nose with a flying knee and it added a lot to the match. Cena's nose was busted up and he still took a slick superplex>Falcon Arrow and won with the STF after Seth missed the Phoenix splash. Really fun show overall, with only a few things that dragged - like the Mexicans vs. Bullfighters matdc, and even that had PTPs and THE NEW DAY! http://jayreviewsthings.blogspot.com/2015/07/wwe-raw-7-27-15.html Screens - Planet Earth's reaction to Stardust Dad of the Year http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/j236xc84i221lah4kzmfhvas5sqmcgdw
  7. Or just like not know what being a dominatrix actually is she's that fair behind pop cultar that she still likes 'put another shrimp on the barbie' is hip. You'd better settle that tea kettle, mister.
  8. This show was almost 100% completely devoid of good. http://www.f4wonline.com/more/more-top-stories/100-tna/43694-tna-impact-wrestling-july-22-results-a-recap-hardy-vs-roode-spud-vs-eric-young Screens - TNA, where you get the word of the Bible and Jeff Jarrett on equal footing. 9. Sexy Star's living up to her name there.
  10. The Brock-Taker stuff dominated the show and with good reason - they did A TON. Taker was more active here than he's been in a decade on Raw, and it really made the Summerslam match seem like a legendary encounter. Such a shame this great stuff wasn't on the go-home show though, because I doubt they can top it. Of course, we got WOMEN'S WRESTLING REVOLUTION LEADER STEPHANIE and HHH all over the show. Charlotte vs. Brie was a nothing match, but Sasha shined on commentary. The Team Bad vs. Paiage/Lynch match was far better - but hurt by the commentary. Seth and Cena was set up for Summerslam fairly poorly, but Rusev's babyface turn continued nicely with tonight's 1-on-3 loss in the main event. http://jayreviewsthings.blogspot.com/2015/07/wwe-raw-7-20-15.html Screens - Divas revolution http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/45o84mcj7cejomku71xnubey23o7cb8h
  11. Kickoff show was nothing - although I did enjoy Barrett's silly face before hitting the elbow. Sheamus vs. Orton was a match. Ditto the tag titles match, which had the wrong team win. Roman vs. Bray went on for ages. STEPHANIE MCMAHON PRESENTS the divas revolution triple threat was something else. We got Steph towering over JoJo, a recap of this "revolution" focusing on Steph, and some new chicks. Brie nearly landed very very badly on a pile-on back suplex. Cena-Owens went through the motions of being a good match, but wasn't much of one. Main event was a patchwork of a great match with an amazing return. Taker looks like just the right amount of young and old to make this Granddaddy Deadman deal work. I loved everything here BUT the non-finish. Seth is a fucking heel - HAVE HIM PIN BROCK AND TAKE ALL THE CREDIT. What is so fucking hard about that? http://jayreviewsthings.blogspot.com/2015/07/wwe-battleground-2015.html Screens - King of Great Faces - This could've gone far worse. 12. I'm just astonished it doesn't have Geocities in the URL. I do love Enterprises in there, like that classes it up a bit. Figures Inc. needs to make a die-cast of this motherfucker ASAP.
  13. Dixie's opening promo was bizarre, but compelling. Bully coming out in a pleather sports coat amused me. I gave zero fucks about the battle royal. Once it started with Crazzy Steve, I was reminded about how dead the company is. This sucked. Anderson-Tenay interview was okay, I suppose. X Title four way was a lot of fun, botched finish aside. Women's match was sloppy and had an even more botched finish. World title match wasn't much, but the Eli turn was...okay I guess. Eli isn't going to #standup, but will he #showhisimpact or #jointheforce? http://www.f4wonline.com/more/more-top-stories/100-tna/43570-tna-impact-wrestling-july-15-results-a-recap-every-singles-title-on-the-line Screens - #knockouts http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/hotdxtmx6dli0hh87rg7tv5mchf08kip
  14. Becky's bright orange hair isn't doing a thing for me.
  15. First hour wasn't much beyond the NXT divas stuff, which was played up as a revolution, but really didn't feel like a big deal. It felt like something WWE would call a big deal - like WWE Fatal Four Way. Loved the Rusev vs. Cesaro vs. Owens match. It really made everyone seem like a star, except for Owens. Rusev came off like a total face here. Moreso when his fairly-earned shot was taken from him by an Owens cheapshot. The Stardust gimmick continuing was pretty stupid. Just make him Cody again, have him cut a great promo - because he can, and give him the IC Title and see what happens. Main event contract signing dragged on a bit, but wasn't really long - and I did enjoy Brock just flipping the table around with one hand like it was nothing. I loved Seth being a super-dick to Kane, although it feels like they've gone done this exact same road many times. Maybe Suplex City has a lot of roundabouts. http://jayreviewsthings.blogspot.com/2015/07/wwe-raw-7-13-15.html Screens - Mr. Rusev's Wild Ride http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/x4n2hrpfa75ftfl7rwh6a7paloxndqab
  16. After last night's show, I've determined that Dalton Castle is the perfect opening match TV guy. After THREE FUCKING HOURS OF WRESTLING already, and after a work shift, I didn't think I'd pay attention to ROH or even dig it. Thanks to his act, I was entertained by his match and put in a good mood throughout the show. ROH is so great as TNA's lead-in because of the comedy. You've got Dixie on TNA talking about making TNA the best promotion in the world and it isn't even the best one during Destination America's three hour wrestling block.
  17. ROH was more fun in the first 20 minutes than TNA was for its entire show. Castle-Watanabe was a ton of fun and Lethal's promo was excellent. He made himself a character babyface while still being a heel and I love the idea of him holding both titles. Main event was a blast and they're doing a fine job with Cole's face turn. http://jayreviewsthings.blogspot.com/2015/07/roh-7-8-15.html Screens - FAN UP! NOT HIM! http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/f6b156youxiu1iyp0i0y77i6djvr7w1n
  18. The first half hour largely sucked beyond comedy from facial expressions. Make that about 45 minutes. There was just a ton of filler here with Josh flipping between face and heel a ton. Okay, pretty much the whole sucked other than the main event, which was too short. Best part of the show was probably Jeff Jarrett using TNA's TV to imply that GFW is bigger than TNA during the first part of tonight's two part two parter interview. http://www.f4wonline.com/more/more-top-stories/101-mexico/43460-tna-impact-wrestling-july-8-results-a-recap-ec3s-first-title-defense Screens - Poor Matt The ratings are in http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/95wnulwpmtbo5ttq3triv8ev7isvuzi4
  19. Recap of last week's Raw opening took a while, we got Heyman being great, and a goofy set of comedy bits with Kane and J and J. Show and Ryback killed a hot crowd, with co-star The Miz. Brie and Paige had a bad match. Bray-Roman recap. Cripes! Goofy Bray-related shit ended a nothing Roman-Sheamus match. Rusev BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF DOLPH in easily the best thing on the show to this point. Bo lost to Dean in a nothing match. THEN BROCK LESNAR DESTROYED A FUCKING CAR. Lucha Dragons lost to New Day in a match with Titus shining oh so brightly as a guest commentator burying JBL constantly. Then we got a fantastic Cena-Cesaro match. This was even better than last week's match. They got a ton of time and it felt so good to see Cesaro in a big match - the overrun match, for the first time in ages. The US Title also felt elevated a bit by this, and a damned WRESTLING MATCH WAS THE STAR OF THE SHOW HERE. SUPER AA FOR THE WIN. Wow. Cesaro was elevated in defeat, and in WWE, it's rare that anyone is elevated in victory. http://jayreviewsthings.blogspot.com/2015/07/wwe-raw-7-6-15.html Screens - Oh, MY CAR! tt http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/hlkmozgp009u7xne44y0g3h02ef3vw9d
