62 Mets probably had a better last month than both the 07 and 08 Mets. Remember going down to DC with my dad both those years only to see the Nats crush us. That's why it would mean so much to me to beat them for the division.

That's true but we Mets fans are pretty leery of any tempting of fate considering the last two times we were in this position ended up as Hindenburg level disasters.

CDN is 75% of USD so it should be more but the Jays prices are almost double the Mets which amazed me. On a weird side note a large cup of Tim Hortons in Canada costs less in CDN money than a medium cup in NYC costs in US funds.

The Jays started selling them to season ticket holders last week Wow those prices. By comparison cheapest Mets strip is $740 US for whole playoffs. WC/NLDS are $42 per game, $50 for NLCS and $125 for WS. And Rogers holds about 10,000 more people than Citi to boot.

True but the Mets are dangling postseason access to get people to put down deposits for next year which feels like inviting the collapse. But actually the real reason we are doomed is because Mike Francessa said we are a lock to win the division.

So the weather cooperated and I went to the Jets game after all. Had a good time, but the best part is that I caught one of the t-shirts fired by the t-shirt gun. Was sitting in the second deck checking other scores when I saw it come at me like a booming punt. Didn't have to move an inch as it came right to me. Shirt has the Jets logo and says "I caught this at a Jets home game". I've got shirts thrown to me before at games but this is the first time the t-shirt gun has blessed me.

There is actually a debate on WFAN over the LL kids who congratulated a kid who hit a home run off of them. The fact that there are people whose minds are so fucking diseased that they would complain about kids showing sportsmanship in a kid's game scares the shit out of me.

Was Crew Stadium built on an Indian burial ground or something? Also Poku is city's best player. Every time I've seen him this year he's always a goal threat.
