HBO2 is running full seasons of The Sopranos! Had a nasty cold this weekend so I was able to re-watch seasons 1, 2 and 3, they start at Noon eastern time and run to about midnight. The show debuted 20 years ago and for me is still the greatest television series ever but wow was the FBI trying to bug the basement episode bad, it was so bad that I think everyone erased it from their minds.

Dana Carvey was on Blue Thunder too! Dick Butkus and Bubba Smith were in some sorta truck or van as the ground support for the Blue Thunder helicopter, I somehow remember this even though I watched two episodes tops.

I see that the show got the ax in the spring of 1986, tv changed so much from the start of the 1983-1984 season to the 1985-1986 season that Hardcastle and McCormick must have aged really fast.

I never watched an episode of Hardcastle and McCormick but I totally remember a kid that was a grade ahead of me being totally into the show, he had pictures of the car on his book covers.

He wasn’t interesting a few years earlier when he teamed with Martel. I get why Strongbow and Putski were over and got pushed for as long as they did but Garea getting tag belts and mid-ish card status for as long as he did was a mystery to me.

Wow! Totally forgot about CBS trying to mix the Cosby Show with a workplace sitcom, I might have watched one or two episodes when this aired. Thank god for cable, just looked up what this show was up against when it premiered, Dynasty on ABC and Hell Town which was Robert Blake as a crime fighting priest on NBC.
