  1. If they want to hold off on a reboot and have Hardy’s Bond be the same person as Craig’s Bond his casting makes sense.
  2. I totally buy both of them having teenagers, if Robby & Sam are 16 in 2018 when the show starts, Johnny & Daniel would have been 34 or 35 when the kids were born in 2001 or 2002. I think Johnny and Ali were 17 and seniors(Class of 85) while Daniel was 16 and a junior(Class of 86) in the original flick. Daniel and his wife totally fit since most of the parents I know with teens are around that age. Johnny seems like he’d have multiple kids at multiple ages and possibly also be a grandpa.
  3. Last night the Salt Lake Tribune reported that Mitt Romney’s name is being tossed around for Sec. of State in a Biden administration, if we see Susan Collins name pop up as a potential a Sec of Homeland Security and Lisa Murkowski’s name mentioned for Sec. of Energy we’ll know if the Democrats are playing the same kind of ball as the GOP. If AOC and others like her walk the Democrats will just absorb moderate Republicans like the ones behind the Lincoln Project and change their overall strategy, sorta like the Nixon and the Republicans taking in the Dixiecrats after the Civil Rights Act and starting the Southern Strategy.
  4. It’ll depend on how many seats the Democrats gain in November, if it ends up 50-50 I can’t see an expansion of the court due to Joe Machin thinking about his own hide and siding with the Republicans. If it ends up 51-49 or 52-48 the either of these will most likely happen. If the GOP waits until after the election and confirms someone during the lame duck the Democrats will add 2 to the court in 2021. If the GOP lightspeeds someone in before the election(sadly they’re going to do this) the Democrats will add 2 and it’ll be one of the first things Biden will sign as President, they’ll also make DC a state before the midterms. I think an expansion of he court is inevitable since the GOP is going to use the current calls for it to justify expansion if they keep the White House and Senate this year and god help us hold the Senate and win the House in the 2022 midterms.
  5. Yes! A few years before this match Bill sold his soul to Dennis Condrey for a 1977 Ford Ranchero.
  6. But doing Hogan-Flair on PPV would potentially hurt the house shows they were headlining. Doing monthly PPV's in that timeframe would have hurt the house show business big time and house shows were the main revenue driver, running three shows a night with double shots on the weekend brings in a lot of cash when you factor in merchandise sales. Doing a monthly ppv is going to cut into that when you factor in the lost revenue from running only 1 event the day of the ppv, along with the expense of the tv production and satellite time.
  7. Dag the Bengals just had the most Bengals finish I’ve ever seen, it even topped the Lions total Lions finish.
  8. I had an algebra teacher in high school who’d take a few sips of Seagram’s 7 throughout the day, so I always figured it was meant for middle aged man day drinking. Also I always pegged Gordon as someone who was thrifty, so if he was a scotch man it had to be Cutty.
  9. Yeah Daniel totally needs therapy, Miyagi was his father figure and even though he passed years ago Daniel still can't deal with it.
  10. Solie would also pronounce it soufflé, but that was after a few nips from the bottle of Seagram's 7 he kept under the desk.
  11. This isn’t new ground since there’s been a Sanford & Son without Sanford and then without the Son, a Laverne & Shirley without Shirley, and an All in the Family with only one member of the Family.
  12. The only ways Hogan would forfeit the title is if he had a Sid like leg break or was paralyzed, things like that weren’t done back then, go look at when they dragged out Dynamite Kid to drop the tag belts when he couldn’t even walk.
  13. I think it all depends on how long Hogan would be out, if it’s less than 3 months they keep the belt on him but have a heel injury him to explain why he isn’t on house shows. If Hulk’s out 3 to 6 months they put the belt back on Savage and Hulk wins it back at Survivor Series. If The Hulkster is out 6 months to a year Savage still gets the belt and drops it to Warrior at WMVI while Hogan has his comeback match in the co-main. I think Savage gets the belt since he’s the strongest heel they have and the upper level babyfaces challenging for the belt might put buts in the seats. Also they wouldn’t have Hulk come out and vacate the title, there would be an angle.
  14. When my dad retired he got gift cards for Ruth's Chris and the Don Shula Steakhouse, everyone thought Ruth's Chris was ok but way to expensive and overrated, Shula's was great and we've gone back a few times. Has there ever been a true steakhouse thread on this board?
  15. Season 3 was all shot before COVID hit so the Chozen thing could be something similar to when Kreese showed up at the very end of season 1.
  16. Cobra Kai season 1 & 2 start on Netflix this Friday with season 3 being held off to 2021. Total mark out moment at the end of the new Netflix preview.
  17. Here’s the “Is Hulk dead?” video that I think you’re talking about.
  18. Take away the text and they look like the four main speakers at a get rich quick scheme with some religion thrown in seminar at a 3 star hotel ballroom.
  19. True but that’s why those guys will always be 1,000 times more cool than George Clooney and Brad Pitt.
  20. Besides the songs by Sammy and Dean the first hour of the original Ocean’s 11 is brutal, but once the heist starts its fun.
  21. The NCAA has no control of the FBS postseason and doesn’t name a National Champion for that subdivision. The polls still technically vote for the National Championship but I think the coaches poll has to vote whoever wins the National Championship Game #1. There’s a good chance at a spilt National Championship this season with one poll voting a team from the fall #1 and another voting a spring team #1.
  22. Silver on red is a great combo, it’s a bummer more belts didn’t have that look. If I was running a promotion the World Title’s would be gold, secondary titles like US or IC would be silver and any third tier title would be bronze.
  23. The fear was more about Andre's back than him dropping dead.
  24. Besides the SNME Battle Royal and WM3, Andre was inactive from September 1986 to Survivor Series 1987. Once they announced the match Andre was going to be in it unless he stopped breathing so the Orndorff thing is most likely bs. While most don't believe the 93, 173 the 78,000 number that Meltzer gives is way off, the Silverdome had 80,069 seats for football and a ballpark of 7,500 on the floor.
  25. Yes! Mainly because Fox News has been purposely pronouncing Kamala like that of the pro wrestler. It’s racist and disrespectful which isn’t shocking coming from Fox News, but over the next few months there’s going to be people referring Senator Harris as Ka-mall-ah not Comma-la purely in jokey racist terms along with memes replacing her with the late Jim Harris. I know there’s been a lot of pro wrestling fans making jokes about Kamala and Kamala and I’m sure most of the time it’s in good fun, but the right wingers aren’t doing it in good fun.
