  1. I figured this out since, Pedro informed the Network Conversation thread about the next classic drop and besides maybe Rippa, nobody else ever did that.
  2. If you put on a cast, I'm sure you could work through it, but I'd imagine you'd be wearing that cast for a bit longer in that case. And there's a chance of re-aggravating the injury every time out and that could lead to a sort of vicious cycle, but the odds of that happening are rather slim, right?
  3. I figured something similar. I counted that Chris is now up 3 to 2 overall in this feud with both guys also having indirect victories over each other due to their teams winning. But considering the violence level in pervious gimmick matches, wouldn't a conventional cage match seem a bit tame in comparison (only from hype/ promotion POV, since I'm sure they would make it work match-wise)? Otherwise, this was a night of unsure alliances, as Miro did come to stare down House of Black, but did nothing to actually help Darby or Sting. Luchasaurus didn't attack Jungle Boy, didn't try to stop him, but didn't start to chase Cage either along with JB. Anna Jay DID choose Tay over Ruby, but given what they've been through together, that makes perfect sense. They need to reschedule the women's trios match asap, so Statlander can get in on this! Eddie made sure not to be made a liar again, and Jericho was bleeding like 5 seconds in and he also bit Jericho's bleeding forehead pretty soon after that, so tasting the blood of a coward was off the checklist as well. BCC vs BFs was really good due to Yuta-Trent-Chuck friendship triangle and Mox now giving Yuta the back-up and respect he used to get from Chuck and NEVER got from Trent! Great story-dynamic, very good wrestling action. Yuta with momentum, but he also took a horrible beating right before a big PPV title match. Shame about the celebration cake, it looked rather tasty on Sterling's face (well, not particularly when it was ON his face, but then you got a better look at its texture and it looked like it would have been tasty, if not already ruined by, what, three people?). I guess I should have said: That cake on Sterling's face looked rather tasty, instead? Brody King vs Darby was killer. Pun F'N intended! Jesus Christ that Ganzo (Gonzo?) Bomb! Starks vs Karter was good, both were showcased nicely. So, this Danhausen business is going to lead to Hook bailing him out and probably becoming the FTW champion in the process (or soon after), right? This would free Starks up for something more. Yeah, great episode. Later today, it will be drinks and Death Before Dishonor 2022! Right now, it's coffee and Rampage! ...and by the level of his "warm-up" for the Battle, I'd have to consider Austin Gunn only mid-level rapper, at best. And that's being nice. We're talking ersatz Uncle Kracka here, maybe Brian Austin Green, if he's lucky!
  4. So, somebody was there during this interview with a Chris Jerichoesque List and going "umh-huh...microphone...ok... weapons...uh-huh...spider....spider?....yeah, spiderweb, I need to google that but ok..." and making Eddie's wishes come true like some twisted Santa Claus (to steal a phrase from Nikki Sixx's Heroin Diaries).
  5. Hey, don't knock it 'til you try it! ...Which is why I won't knock it.
  6. Trying not to read a single word of this thread, so as to remain unsullied until tomorrow afternoon, as I decided to watch the entire PPV at my friend's place during a nice bout of day-drinking, as we are both on summer vacation still. The original plan was to show him 2 of the best matches on each PPV this year so far, but this should work just fine.
  7. C'mon, he even clarified it to The Brain a couple of times: "It's that little lump on the back of your neck." There was nothing to doubt. I just felt mine with my fingers to make sure as I write this!
  8. Good song, and (I think) a glaring omission on my 80's playlist. This needs to be corrected (or at least confirmed) asap. Also, on the actual subject, I must have been waiting and dreaming of this thing to happen, since the early 2000's. Well, not his retirement, since I didn't think it would happen, certainly not this way, but you know, "retiring" in his sleep due to natural causes. I will take it slowly and not rush back to their programming, until it becomes clear that their audience is shown at least a modicum of respect and appreciation. So, not holding my breath on that one.
  9. Yeah, you need to throw money at these red-neck bastards, like it or not! Shower dollars at these *censored* *censored* super-talented hillbillies! Redneck Steiners, indeed!
  10. Point taken, but Drake is spectacular, so it would be no surprise. Like Tully vs Luger or Arn vs Sting or vice versa
  11. Has there been a money player like Konosuke T-Cinnabon anywhere in the past? I mean, Cena, but other than that? Sting? Luger? Young Windham?
  12. Son of a bitch! Zoe Stark is the no 1 contender?!? That's great! Would someone be a champ and @Shartnado if Stark wins the title and defends against Ivy Nyle? That may be enough to get me to sign up to The Network, for a bit at least!
  13. Not the greatest card, but I see no huge problems with it. In another universe, Nakamura vs WALTER should sell out any stadium anywhere. Re-hashing WM31 ending with Theory would be such quality trolling that I might even welcome it, since I won't be watching until the future.
  14. That card (2002) is just insane, from top to bottom! The roster was insane! I have always loved '98! I was so excited about D'Lo vs Val Venis! It was like, how the hell is this one going to play out? How can either guy lose? Well, the match was awesome, the ending sucked! There is a lot to love on this card, the octagon match with Shamrock v Owen, the HHH v Rock ladder match, the main event was very good, despite neither Austin nor Taker like the match, due to Stone Cold concussion early on. I watched 2013 with my friend pretty soon (a week maybe) after the fact and it was indeed awesome. I saw 1992 version like close to a decade after the fact, but I like that Warrior v Savage a lot more as a match than I do WM VII, the angle, not so much. The main event is of course, a classic. These are very sensible choices.
  15. They need to detain this man for the time being, and convince men to find men OTHER than him to have sex with, so this monkeypox-crap can be stopped before it ruins everything once again!
  16. I certainly miss PARTS of it, that's for sure! Who wouldn't, though?
  17. "Running! It's Hit the Ground Running!" *shrugs* "Whatever!"
  18. Safely back home from Belgium. The last leg of the flight was delayed for about an hour, but that was way more lucky than the flights that got cancelled due to lack of personnel yesterday. Also, not only did my new prescription sunglasses arrive to the store in a little over a week, instead of the original four (I was only able to get them today, as I've been away), they were over 80e less expensive than I was originally told (they were 25% off, but that would be like an additional 20% on top of that). I don't know wtf went down there, but I was not about to ask. This sort of thing hardly ever happens. So I guess that was the ROH PPV money, as well as All Out '22, right there!
  19. 1) Absolutely did happen. It could have been on Prime Time as well. 2) Demolition and Harts had a few altercations on tv over the years, but I'm not sure which one this would be? I don't recall bruised faces, but that doesn't count for anything.
  20. Just bought it. And also said that in the main ROH thread.
  21. I've been trying my hardest to remain spoiler-free for the past week I have been in Belgium for holiday. I did, however, just purchase the Death Before Dishonor 2022 PPV on FITE. I saw a glimpse of what the ROH title match will be. I think this will turn out to be a worthwhile purchase. I'd just like to have more Brian Cage in my diet. Ok, I actually mean in my watching digest, or something?
  22. Is that a rule? Hopefully, I won't ever need to invoke it, but good to know in advance.
  23. This combined with the fact (?) that the first loss match was cut short by a good bit due to an injury to Angle during the match. An epic match, followed by a very tough loss would possibly slowed the dissolution down a little bit.
  24. Yeah, so basically everyone more than a couple of years younger than you would most likely not be of age to find ROH at the time. I don't know how well this describes the current AEW fan base, but I'd figure at least to some extent, right?
