  1. I SO hate it when a snappy comeback comes to you, like you said, 30 seconds too late! You'll get it next time, though.
  2. If Warrior still gets shitcanned in '91, I actually see him eating a controversial pin on this one, so maybe he gets to do least in the match because of it. He would take both Powerbomb and Legdrop before staying down, though. Collision with Hogan, Sid rolls him up in confusion, maybe pull the tights or steps on his hair to keep him down.
  3. I gave my G.I.Joes to my little brother along with a whole bunch of vehicles. Bunch of them got lost over the years, until they all perished in a garage fire. I like to think they all died in battle.
  4. If that was the case, then you could also pretty much count on Bret vs Shawn vs Bulldog in 1992, and maybe ( just maybe) Hogan vs Warrior vs Sid in '91 (if the monthly PPV's would have been a thing for a good while at that point).
  5. Are we assuming the non-big 4 PPV's are 2h, 5 match cards like the early IYH's? We could have had that Steiners vs Bret/Owen match on PPV in late '93 Probably Savage vs Bret before WM IX or after X. Flair-Perfect Loser leaves WWF would definitely be on PPV Tatanka vs Yokozuna late '93 would have been a PPV match. Razor Ramon vs Mr Perfect Yokozuna vs Razor Ramon Flair vs Piper in '91 I don't know how they'd get there, but I would have liked to see Bulldog vs Ultimate Warrior in 1991! There are soooo many great possibilities, but there's a good chance that the actual PPV's that did happen in real life, wouldn't look anything like actually did, in this What If-time line.
  6. I was never able to get my hands on Tomax and Xamot figures, even though I had probably more than 50 figures all together. But that sounds like the most logical booking ever (only Zartan&Zandar comes close, but I never had either of them either). Sgt. Slaughter was unbeatable, but the funny thing was I never knew Slaughter was an actual wrestler, until he showed back up to WWF in fall of '90. As for shoot strategy in a (multi man) ladder match, I'd take one bump early on carrying a chair, then lay face down in a corner with the chair until I saw someone grabbing the case, then throw the chair at him and hope that makes the briefcase to fall into my hands without having to climb the ladder once.
  7. I loved it when in the match vs Scotty Riggs from Uncensored'97, he was backing into the corner sitting down, when the ref was admonishing him and said "OK! Sorry! I'M SORRY!" Then, as the ref backed off, Buff looked at the camera, shook his head and said "I'm not really sorry!" That was just next level awesome!
  8. That would probably be very interesting. I mean it's quite interesting enough to go through life with a name like Shartnado, as is (especially after those goddamned shark movies came out), but that could end up being a literal shit-storm and a half! But we shall see how that goes over?
  9. Knowing me, I'll probably (definitely) do, both. Thanks.
  10. Ok, thoughts a few days late as usual. Starting with the title match, ok then! Good action, Finn looked like he took a nap on Elm Street with all those scrapes on his back, thigh and one ugly gash on his chest. Was that from last week, or were they really laying their shit in? Was that the first (sort of) top rope DDT finish since Malenko vs Scotty 2 Hotty at Backlash 2000? Glad that Balor won. Dream being a heel who gets his ass kicked a lot is about the only way to go, if you're not firing him and insist on keeping him on tv. Leather beret was cool, must give him that, if nothing else. Yeah, I was pretty sure that the dinner with Garganos wasn't going to turn into a tearful reunion between Candice and Tegan, but at least it was just a food fight, instead of a brawl. The brawl is right around the corner for these two, I'm sure. Should have guessed that trying to get his revenge on the Tank wouldn't go too well for Robert Stone! All around rough night for him. NO Shotzi!!!! Don't do THAT! Now you pissed Io off! "Don't make me hurt you!" Oh, Shotzi, you've done it now! Thatcher pointed out weaknesses in Priest's game. Now that BOTH men have revealed their strategies on tv, let's see if they actually go through with them next week, or have some new tricks up their sleeve? Bronson Reed was ready to F Austin Theory up ALL DAY, and not just in theory, either! I counted big man move tributes from Rikishi, Vader, Bam Bam Bigelow and Kamala in the match, there may have been more. I liked how Theory sold Reed being just too heavy for his injured anatomy to complete lifting moves with. Good win for Reed, who keeps on being awesome each time out! Before the Roddy vs Dain match I said to myself "If this match ends up with Drake Maverick getting beat up by both sides..." and yeah. But at least there was some advancement in the storyline. Maybe Dain will end up accepting Maverick's handshake in the end? A win for Roddy, but I guess the real story was Killian-Drake. Cole showing respect to Finn after the match was cool. Are they turning him face, or what? Imperium v Breezango rematch is interesting, because we'll see if the gold watch title reign is going to be short or VERY short? It's also their rubber match. Main event was bad ass! It was cool to hear Barrett lamenting how terrible it was to be inside the steel cage with just about anybody! I don't know if all those weapons inside the case were necessary, but they sure made use of them. The ending was pretty damn decisive! What's next for Rhea? One on one against Gonzales for the number one contendership? Entertaining show, but the NXT roster has suffered somewhat from injuries and people moving to RAW an SD!
  11. I wonder if the back of the T-Shirt says: "And I beat the shit out of all of them (except Slash, who I shared 4 bottles of Jack Daniels with, afterwards!" ?
  12. Yeah, I think the longer hair is definitely part of him trying to fit in better with the main stream movie-star mold. Just like Morganti previously suggested as a possible reason for his slightly leaner look that I was wondering about, previously.
  13. Ok, that was one of the options I considered. I'm kind of over-sharing in that way that it would be difficult to leave such a space completely blank. Thank you for the clarification.
  14. Being new to this whole message board thing as an active participant, I have a question about the "about me" feature in the profile section (alongside Activity). Is this section only visible to myself, when I browse my own profile? I mean, I tried browsing other members' profiles and no one seems to have any sort of longer description about themselves, so I assume so. So, if only I can see my "about me"-section, I guess all the stuff I divulged about myself therein is all for naught, unless I forget who I am, or something? Is there a way to see any of that if one was to visit someone's profile?
  15. I'll be damned... that's right! I mean, I haven't seen the show yet, but Roman teaming with an Uso with Heyman around would be an SST (re)incarnation in an of itself. If there was something more than that they did in reference to SST, then it's all the more cool!
  16. Ok, thank you for this! Do you happen to remember when this was? Of course, it just means that he shaves before WWE television appearances. I haven't seen him with a goatee in any of his matches that I recall. Shame, really, as it's a good look on him.
  17. Absolutely. I mean The Rock did it in 2007(ish) and then said "naah, this is not for me", bulked back up huge and became one of the biggest movie stars. I guess it's not a fool-proof plan, but plenty of muscular guys have gotten a lot leaner in order to become bigger main stream movie stars.
  18. I think that's the first time I have ever seen Cena with any kind of facial hair. That's like a bizarro world heel Cena! He wears it well, though. Is he rearing back his shoulders in this pic or are his arms getting smaller?
  19. Well, that's definitely a shirt that happened, oh my... OK, put me down for two!
  20. This comes more than a couple days late, you apparently also share a birthday with my kid brother, who I remembered to congratulate only last night, so better late than never! Congrats!
  21. Those are just SO much easier on your toes, if you happen to lose your grip or slip up. Good call, for safety and all!
  22. Exactly! He was like "I HAD Flair, I had him, and I blew it! " Especially since Flair eliminated him and ended up winning. But yeah, it's true that they were the last two in the ring in that battle royal with one of the Beverly Brothers, so #1 didn't mess his plans!
  23. Yeah, that was one of the times I remember that happening too. At least Barbarian tried to dump Flair over with the press, but he was cut-off (see #1) . Yeah, but there was a good reason why Bulldog sought after Jim Cornette's advice a few years later. He was like "man, this shit just isn't working out for me, somehow!"
