  1. They do, but kicked in the mouth by the opponent when poison rana'ing them for a two count. ...and then tapping to an ARMBAR!
  2. He's dead though. This is not a time machine situation, for the purpose of the question I was posing, anyway. But yeah, Greene did well for himself in all of his matches.
  3. Not only that. They never gave Luger the win back, as Yoko pinned Luger in a match for the tag titles at In Your House 2 and if I'm not mistaken qualified over him into the King of the Ring '95 tournament. But yeah, that could have been done many times over during the spring and summer of '94.
  4. Here's a what if, or a what, anyway: What would be the best celebrity only tag team match wrestling could come up with at this point? Pat MacAfee & Floyd Mayweather Jr vs Bad Bunny & that Arrow guy? Or replace Mayweather with K-Fed? What would it be, other than a hot mess?
  5. Ok, so it's the last day before the diet starts. Weighed in at 188 lbs this morning, but it may have gone below that, as the super hectic work day made me skip snack and lunch. Due to that, I said fuck it and skipped todays workout as well. That's 4 workouts this week and it was going pretty damn intense, until today kinda ruined it, but whatever. The supplements arrived yesterday, but I won't start on them until Monday. This Monday was a full upper body workout with pull-ups, dips and reverse shrugs with 45 lbs of extra weight. Chest flies with resistance bands, plus push-downs, shrugs and lateral raises to the side. Some light curls and other light stuff in between sets. Tuesday I did some overhead press with dumbells as well as incline bench press with dumbells as well. Used the same weights to do some hammer curls and dumbell rows. Lateral raises and curls between sets as well. Wednesday was a legday, squat machine loaded to somewhere around 400 lbs. Some stiff-legged deadlifts with the pair of 70 lb kettlebells. Plenty of calf raises and squats. Thursday was bench day. I tried to fool my body by doing 5x132, 5x231, 3x264 and then tried to do 297. Well, I did it halfway, and another quarter rep, but had to leave it at that. Then I took it back down to 275 and did 2 sets of 3, then 4 sets of 3 with 264. Then 11 reps with 231 and 10 with 220 and 30 with 132. I did light lat pulldowns (88 lbs) to the chest in between sets. Today was what it was, but I think I did fine regardless. I'm not super stoked foŕ the diet as of yet, but I'm sure once I get going it will be ok. 188 lbs is pretty high for the usual starting weight, but I thought I was going to be even heavier. I guess not. I may update my profile photo , once I get a decent shot.
  6. Looking at the back to back Bloodbath's at Judgment Day, it's kinda funny that JBL was in both of them. And looking back on it these should have been the matches where he both won AND lost his WWE title. It would have told a better story and these are the matches that people remember, not the actual title changes.
  7. Oh man! That's horrible. He talked about his doctor telling him to cut back on the hydration a while back. This is really sad and unexpected news. RIP OSJ!
  8. Damn, that's a bummer! I hope it ends up being sooner! So close, yet so far away...
  9. Let's welcome a new addition to the DVDVR cruiserweight division : SuuuppprrrreemeeeBVE!!!!!
  10. Ok, so Supplement talk: When not on diet, for the past two years I've basically only used whey protein, barley starch and creatine for my intra and recovery drink. Recently, I've added some arginine into them as well. In the morning (or after waking up) I take a multivitamin, vitamin D and Omega 3 (in the form of fish oil capsules). Before bed, I take melatonin, zinc and magnesium. When on diet, I have this Finnish brand of fat burner I have used for about 5 years now, with positive results. I also usually have same brand's natural testo booster (I believe it's maca-based, but it has shit-load of other stuff in it, too). I also ordered essential amino acid powder for my morning drink. During summer, on morning shift weeks, I tend to only drink the EAA before leaving for work and drink the breakfast oatmeal drink once I'm there. That's pretty much everything. A few years back I still used to spend a bunch more money, especially on amino acids, but I laid off of those for the most part of the year.
  11. Luger had the motorcycle accident which led to the loaded forearm gimmick. He missed WBF and wrestling basically the entire '92 after his short appearance in WM8 hyping his WBF debut.
  12. The time they spent together in WWF was so brief, they barely had the time to say "Hi!" to each other, though! Oddly enough, they were both featured on the WWF Royal Rumble for SNES where you could have them interact all you wanted. Which I did, a lot. Not to rain on the good booking parade of Razor vs Owen, I think Owen hurt his knee at Rumble and later against Bam Bam and was out of action around WMIX, which is why he wasn't on the card in the first place. Well, they might have left him out anyway, but that would have been dumb.
  13. This phrase keep turning up in one way or another, when these trash bags are mentioned. It's starting to worry me, but at least they fired the guy sending them. Also, can we be sure he didn't actually crap in each of the bags just to be more of an asshole? Maybe leave a note saying "With warm regards, sincerely - Randy Orton"? ...and Odessa beat me to it while I was sleeping! Good job!
  14. While this particular episode won't air in Finland for another week or so, I just wanted to point out that both RAW and SD! are edited down to 1h with commercials over here. At least as far as RAW is concerned, this should be a wonderful thing, right? I mean, if the editing was done properly.
  15. It may very well be, unfortunately. For me, I usually get one aching bodypart feeling good again by meticulously stretching, massaging etc. only to find that some other part is now aching due to lack of attenion. And I do not have the time nor the patience to go through my entire anatomy each time out. On an unrelated note, my patience did pay off yesterday, as I was able to get a decent deal on my diet supplements after weeks of checking out the website regularly to see if the prices have gone down yet. Rest of the year I'm on whey protein and creatine as my only supplements, but for the upcoming two months or so each spring and early summer, I will usually go full blast with the supplements. Whether they actually work or not is up to debate, but they do seem to give me the extra motivation I need, especially at the beginning of each diet.
  16. Maybe they should also make a deluxe edition which has a removable collar with Cody's neck tattoo print that you could lift up to get the full experience, without having to get inked?
  17. Holy crap, that was one hell of a week. Night shift so the first work out was on Sunday evening and this was after some yard-work of shoveling dirt and removing surprisingly large rocks from under a mock fountain as we were prepairing to install a new one. I also took the longer route to work and back home because the conditions were great. Until this morning, when it started snowing again, WTF? Sunday's full upperbody workout was intense, but not heavy. At least not heavy enough to stop me having another one on Monday. That one included standing and seated dumbell overhead presses as something I haven't gotten around to doing in a while. They weren't heavy either, but sure felt like it! I considered taking Tuesday off, but ended up doing a leg day instead. Loading the squat machine to approximately 400 lbs and did calves and thighs and decreased he load down to abot 200 lbs at the end. That was pretty rough. Wednesday was a bench day and I figured I go straight to 220 and no less. So I did 5x220, 3x253, 1x275, 2x297, 3x286, 3x275, 4×264, 4x253, 5x242, 7x220 and 25x132 for the finish. Disclaimer, though the heaviest sets were not clean, but I did them. Once I get a spotter, it will get better. Thursday was a trapbar and shrug day as last work out of the week tends to be. I wasn't really feeling it, so I thought I'll get up to 451 fast and see what I have left. So I did 10x176, 6x286, 5x374, then 8, 5, 6 and 5x451. I did not see that coming! Shrugs while unloading the trapbar and that was it for the week. Work was pretty intense as well, so it seem like the weight has gone down a bit. I was at 191 this afternoon after waking up. Now it's time for re-feed as we approach the beginning of the diet.
  18. I didn't misread that, but was indeed going to say "Yup, that sounds exactly like something Joel Gertner would say!"
  19. Hey, Adam! Telling them how your day sucked too, when they look for some compassion is NOT "What Women Want"! ...On a related note, during this particular shoot, Danny Glover went "Jesus Christ, I really am too old for this shit! "
  20. Yeah, something like: "Hey, Liz! Your segment was pretty early in the evening and you seem bored. I've got something here that will make the waiting around seem nice and fluffy!" ...and also, maybe you should try some of these muscle relaxants! They're pretty cool, too!
  21. Looks to me he knew how to do it. Not safely, probably, but that looked amazing! If Dusty added "You're gonna end up killing someone by accident, baby!" , then I'm fine with that line. I also wouldn't be surprised if Dusty had said "Don't do shit I don't know how to do!"
  22. Yeah, messing with the Black Arts had to give her something. Looks like Millie isn't challenging for the title just yet. Valkyrie vs Satomura for the No 1 contendership should be something.
