  1. There's some NBA All-Star stuff on Friday, too, so no time in the schedule for a double show.
  2. YOUR Fantastic Four are: Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach. https://variety.com/2024/film/news/fantastic-four-cast-marvel-studios-1235875766/
  3. Yeah, Power Wash Simulator was great because we could just chill and shoot the shit while we played. I enjoyed the goofy storyline but I wish they would have explained what happened to the cats! My big beef with House Flipper is that placing furniture is a pain and there's no "snap to grid" option. Just janky as hell. We played Unpacking together, too, and it was incredibly satisfying. I would play a million Unpacking-likes. We also just finished blowing through A Little to the Left, which is so insanely Our Type Of Thing that it's a little off-putting.
  4. This is a bummer because I've seen a million games in Kauffman and I really love the stadium but boy would it be a boostnot to have the team way out in bumblefuck Missouri.
  5. Oh yeah, I agree that it's a terrible idea. There's a good reason nobody has really tried to make on since Rat Race, and that's without taking people away from their wrestling schedule.
  6. Nah, There are already a bunch of Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World knockoffs and Cannonball Run itself is a knockoff of Gumball Rally. "Wacky ensemble race comedy" is pretty much a genre unto itself.
  7. We liked doing the Animal Crossing DLC together but I think having fewer options and a defined theme to work with helped us focus. Apparently she is way less interested in me than trying six different paints to get the exact right shade in a pretend kitchen.
  8. There was a story out that she was out of favor because she was pushing to get Scrull a front office job, but the story was unsourced and there was never any follow up so I'm extremely skeptical.
  9. My wife and I got really hooked on Power Wash Simulator for a while and once that ran dry we switched to House Flipper and it's been...illuminating. Turns out the two of us don't really have the patience to tackle a design project together, which I guess is better to figure out in a video game than when we finally redo our bathrooms.
  10. It's a bummer because, like Smackdown, I think it's an iteration away from being a really good game but given how it's sold I don't think we'll ever get the sequel.
  11. I think Lambert was already one-note and repetitive in his interviews, I can't imagine listening to him for a full hour.
  12. Oh god, I remember that. There was also one where (I think) Brody slammed him on some steps on their side and he bounced like a goddamned looney tune and splatted on the ground. I don't remember the match but there was one time he smoked himself doing a tope and I was pretty sure he died.
  13. Since it came up in the TV thread: what do y'all think Darby's dumbest bump is? I vote for when he let Ethan Page throw him down a flight of concrete steps and ended up being out for a couple of months.
  14. Thanks, that gives me some good starts to check out
  15. I'm trying to remember an early 2000s indy show I watched that I'm hoping rings a bell with someone. I'm 90% sure it was an MCW show so this might be mostly an odessasteps question. Show took place between 2000-02, and I definitely watched either an RF or SMV tape of the show. The main or co-main event was a hardcore tag match where one team were bald guys. In my memory it's Da Baldies but they never worked MCW. It was a pretty normal WWF style plunder match, but about midway through the match one of the bald guys gets hit with an already-dented trash can. A jagged piece of metal from the can gashes his head and he ends up doing one of the nastiest unintentional blade jobs I'd ever seen. Just spurting blood everywhere. They showed some backstage stuff at the end of the tape of him with his giant divot in his head. Anybody remember this one?
  16. https://twitter.com/AEW/status/1755588542250766469 Taya Valkyrie and Johnny TV are getting a scripted romcom series on AEW's TV channel. I probably won't watch this but I do like them taking the swing.
  17. Quentin Grimes, Evan Fournier, and some other stuff are going to Detroit for Alec Burks and a Bogdanovic
  18. Jesus, I shouldn't surprised since the Hornets are babytown frolics at the best of times but how do you give Miles goddamn Bridges a no-trade clause?
  19. Here's my dumb booking solution: With Mogul Embassy barred from ringside Keith Lee interferes to cost Swerve the match. Swerve beats Lee at Revolution to finally put that whole feud to bed, Joe beats Hanger and we finally get Swerve/Joe at whatever the next PPV is.
  20. You can tell this is just a stunt by how she's suing for for specific performance instead of whatever money she's owed on her contract. Hell, Disney might even settle that to get her to go away. And to add another level of clown shoes apparently Elon Musk is bankrolling the lawsuit.
  21. We finally finished Echo and I really liked it, especially the supporting cast (I'll always get up for a Graham Greene performance). I did not care for the decision to give her magic glowing hand native ancestor powers, though.
  22. I'm willing to give them some grace on the N64 controller since there wasn't an established design language for 3d controllers yet. It's better than the Saturn's weird Nights controller and works fine to play AKI wrestling games, at least.
  23. Bret is there between Taker and Rock
  24. I hope Natalie Maines and Kris Kristofferson are both having wonderful days today.
