  1. Woj says Reggie is off to Detroit. Interesting. How does this play out?
  2. What becomes of George Hill should the Pacers land Reggie? He's signed for another two seasons and the whole point of Jackson leaving OKC is that he's a starting point guard.
  3. If they stay healthy, they would be a very tough out for the east contenders. I just don't think they have the bench to beat Chicago or Atlanta and then there's Wade's health status.
  4. Bennett's season ending knee injury happens the second the Garnett trade is confirmed. "Just can't put any weight on it, doc. Jeez, looks like I'm done for the rest of the year. Shucks, man. Shucks." Goran to the Heat is the only sensible move going by his list of teams he's willing to re-up with. I know the Rockets were going to try to get him and then convince him to re-sign there. Heat make way more sense than Houston though. They haven't had a good PG in... hmm... well, I don't remember the last good point guard to play in Miami.
  5. I've watched five Kings games this year and most of them had fewer than 60 combined shots. Fuck that noise. That game against Torranah in January was one of the worst hockey games I can remember watching in recent memory (and I endured Tortorella's Canucks!). And for all the dick riding people did on Jon Quick a few years ago, that absurd .929 SV% season was a complete anomaly. I do not like that team.
  6. Woj is saying Garnett is leaning towards waiving his no-trade to go back to Minnesota and mentor the young'uns. Also, somewhat connected, Lopez for Reggie Jackson and others (Perkins) seems to be close. If the Heat get Goran, then Cole is likely going to either Detroit or OKC.
  7. It would not thrill me, as Calgary may be the only team in the playoff picture that Vancouver could beat in a 7 game series right now. Maybe da Jets, maybe (sorry guys). As a matter of fact, I would be totally cool with the Kings just missing the playoffs entirely. I've seen enough of their low event, grinding style to last me a life time.
  8. Panthers are only 3 points back of Boston with a game in hand. Meanwhile, the Kangs have moved into a playoff position for the first time in forever. The Western wildcard race is toight.
  9. Yes, so much yes. I paid full price and it was worth every penny and then some.
  10. Let us know your thoughts on both but particularly Alien, please. Did you manage to play Hardline's beta that was out at the start of the month? I really didn't care for it and I wanted to like it.
  11. Don't worry, WWE's crack medical staff will get right on it.
  12. Quite the jump going from Kanter to Cousins.
  13. Those were some serous uppercuts to the body. He put everything into them, leaping right at Thatch and exposing himself to a counter but was too quick and his timing too good.
  14. Jesus, his main complaint is that each game is different and there isn't much predictability. Is he for real?
  15. They need to balance the wraith in the worst of ways. I really like how the different characters per class are best suited to the different modes. Bucket is perfect for defense. Hank destroys eggs in nearly one go of his barrage. Cabot's marking barrage and rail gun are made for hunt mode. And so on. Fresh, you were right in that single player is the best way to quickly level up and unlock characters. I just need to unlock the trappers and I've got all the hunters at this point.
  16. By being a hack anime character. They certainly do not need a 2nd crappy American heel stable.
  17. That is correct. Ishii and Honma had a match on Saturday to crown a champion. Good viewings.
  18. Oh, good Lord almaaaaiiiighdy! A friend and I just watched the majority of the 2/14 NJPW show and Honma is a mad man (I refuse to sit through NJPW undercard garbage).
  19. Wait, what? In what world can Sami Zayn not make the main event scene of WWE? He's basically a more WWE friendly Daniel Bryan without the "goat" look. He'll win the WWE crowd over and I'm guessing we'll see a similar affinity for him that they have for D-Bry. There is a great deal of talent in NXT that could help bolster the main show's cast. Once Itami finds his footing for the style, he'll come off much less inhibited and more confident. Let him reclaim the GTS too. If Taz could get over as a badass, then Kevin Owens can get over as a badass. Balor is starting to differentiate between his normal act and the demon act. That could very likely be where he makes his money. It's not their fault WWE proper won't know what to do with them. Just as it isn't half of the roster's fault for not getting over with the atrocious writing. Basically, at this stage, the brain trust of WWE is like a cancer destroying its own show.
  20. On that first one, he had to duck his head from hitting the rim. Special stuff. That three point contest was pretty damn great too. I don't think it quite lived up to the billing with Korver shitting the bed and Klay struggling mightily in the final round but Steph broke the record, did he not? Hmm, a quick google search shows that he scored the most points but Hodges had a 30 max, whereas Curry had 34 max points possible. And holy shit, Hodges hit 19 shots in a row in '91. Curry hit 13 in a row this year.
