When I was younger, they used to air highlights shows in Canada. West Coast was an expansion team, and I thought it was cool they were on the other side of the continent, so I cheered for them. Carlton is my #2 team right now, because Chris Judd plays for them.

The Saints are pretty terrible this season. Nice to see Richmond make the finals, but I think Geelong takes the trophy this season, over Sydney in the final.

Line of the week: "When did Grizzly Redwood find the Secret of the Ooze?", by Matt Taven during the four way scramble to watch the show. Taven and Martini were pretty good at the commentary desk. Vintage Collection aired the Rude/Flair NWA World Title change this week. I can't figure out what was better: Rude, in the world's ugliest track suit and fanny pack kissing Fifi (while wearing his wedding ring), to help get the match, or the tights he wore for the match, with Fifi airbrushed on the front, and "Rick + Fifi: True Love Forever" on the back. Rude was so fucking great at this point in time.

The Jets made back-to-back conference championship games three season ago. Finished .500 two years ago. That's one "awful" season in a row, and one underachieving season. There's a shit ton of stuff to make fun of the Jets about without just making shit up. Fuck football. The Bombers are the fucking joke of the CFL, and the Jets will be lucky to get to five wins this season. It's a good thing the teams I play for are doing well, because all the teams I cheer for suck with great force.
