A Whole Food's opened up in the area a few months ago and a few weeks ago I decided to stop in and check it out. I can see how people refer to it as "Whole Paycheck". I picked up some rice(mostly basmati and jasmine) and some meat. Their hamburger might be the best I've ever had. I'm not sure if it is an 80/20 mix or what but when cooked the burgers gave off a lot of grease but they were extremely juicy and delicious. Even after sitting in the fridge for a couple of days and being reheated they were tremendous.

I second the love for Culver's. I've tried the Wendy's pretzel burger and it was okay, what was better was the pretzel bun hot dog at Sonic, though it would be a lot better with shredded cheese instead of the industrial looking nacho cheese sauce.

I remember watching Night Of The Scarecrow on TV, it was a CBS Movie Of The Week. China Girl wasn't bad, I picked that up at the library as a twenty-five cent rental in the late 80's/early 90's.

The thing that stuck out to me in the Mandela trailer was the four Studebakers in the scene on the bridge. It might've been the most Studebakers on screen at one time in many years.

Back when I drank I loved the hoppy stuff. A few weeks ago a "First Taste" was held at the Century Center in South Bend, IN for the relaunch of Drewry's Beer, which had been brewed in South Bend up until the early '70s and continued to be brewed elsewhere until the mid-90's. Suposedly it is to be available at local restaurants and bars before fall.

They're one of the world's coolest bands, ya old fogey. I much prefer The Smosh to Emo & The Pinterests. Emo Phillips has a band now? I'd often wondered whatever happened to him. Took him that long to get over losing Judy Tenuta. I'm 43 with the maturity of a 15 yr old.

I'm down around 75 lbs since May '12. but haven't really lost anything since April. A new job working odd hours and not going to the gym can make you really lazy, well me at least. I seem to be keeping it off.

I watched Bullet To The Head, Incredible Burt Wonderstone and Pain and Gain.BTTH was shit. Dull, boring shit.Wonderstone was predictable but enjoyable. P&G was really good, due mainly to the performances. Michael Bay still makes shitty movies but this one is definitely not the norm.
