S.K.o.S.
Am I the only person on this board who watches? Perhaps. I've enjoyed it though. Just started this year. League Pass is under $20 US, and it's been a good way to fill the summer sports hole since I'm not so into baseball or CFL. Danielle Robinson of the Minnesota Lynx is in her seventh season in the WNBA and is a three-time all-star. Unbelievably, she had never hit a 3-pointer in her entire pro career, going 0-for-39... UNTIL YESTERDAY. http://www.startribune.com/danielle-robinson-s-three-pointless-streak-finally-ends-in-fine-fashion/488006111/ Quote Danielle Robinson could have come to the Minnesota Lynx as the best point guard in the history of the WNBA -- and yet a certain amount of chatter would have centered on the incredible fact that she'd never, ever hit a three-point shot since entering the league in 2011. At Target Center, you could sense an undercurrent of anticipation whenever Robinson had the ball in possible shooting position outside the three-point arc. In fact, she made a three during last week's victory over Los Angeles, but she had a foot on the baseline and the basket was disallowed. There were groans from the people who knew what was up. Well, Robinson's streak ended Wednesday afternoon in Indianapolis, where six minutes into the game, she tried the 40th three-pointer of her career. Boom! S.K.o.S.
Liz Cambage just set a new single-game WNBA points record with 53. "Just" as in just now, as in it was a Tuesday afternoon game. edit: Stat line is 17/22 FG, 4/5 from 3, 15/16 FT, 10 rebounds, 5 blocks. Yikes.
S.K.o.S.
Here's an interesting article about how WNBA players travel on commercial flights rather than chartered planes, and what happens when you have a delayed flight situation. https://www.sbnation.com/platform/amp/wnba/2018/8/3/17647480/las-vegas-aces-flight-delayed-washington-mystics-commercial-flights?__twitter_impression=true
Zimbra
After last night Diana Taurasi is 13-0 in WNBA elimination games. That is absolutely nuts.
S.K.o.S.
That was probably the best game I've watched this season.

Dolfan in NYC
Some fantastic news. The New York Liberty have been sold to Joe Tsai. Because fuck James Dolan. Hopefully this means the team will play their games next season in Barclays.
