So who's on the Marlon Moraes Hype Train with Me?

This has all the makings of unfolding like Almeida vs. Garbrandt a couple years ago where it's suppose to be the crowning moment for one prospect and the other prospect comes through in a big way.

People might be underestimating Jimmie Rivera, especially since he has went several months between his last two bouts (September 2016 to July 2017 to now).

Not a given at all, just hoping Moraes pulls it off.

So um why would 'chapped lips' be reason to pull a fight?

I believe the commission thinks she is dehydrated.

Jarred Brooks gave himself a Dick Murdoch/Shinya Hashimoto brainbuster and handed Shorty Torres a KO win in his UFC debut.

After rough first rounds (really rough in the case of Nathaniel Wood), both of the touted prospects on the Fight Pass prelims get second round finishes.

I think Tibau's long tenure with the UFC is about to end.

Sam Alvey is your average 80s Midwest territory prelim midcard babyface. Verne Gagne would've loved him.

Arce is a very solid prospect at featherweight.

I'm guessing that's it for Ellenberger in the UFC seeing as he is 1-5 in his last six fights.

That was a super impressive outing from Arce. I hadn't seen much of the older Teymur bro but he made him look largely ineffectual.

The hype video for Dos Anjos-Covington really made me want to see that fight, which of course was the whole point. Another example of MMA doing pro wrestling better than pro wrestling. Covington is an amazing heel and Dos Anjos came off like a super babyface who is going to put a repulsive snot nosed punk in his place. It was just so great.

Gillespie's ceiling is extremely highly. Credit to Anik for bringing up having to wrestle against a murderer's row like Dake, Phil Taylor, and Jordan Burroughs.

MMA needs more people whose gimmick is that they love to fish!
