I was wondering if Hernandez maybe depleted himself coming down to 145 and that may be the case. He may still have success at that weight though. twiztor Posted December 11, 2022 Share Posted December 11, 2022 i mentioned to my friend that this card had a lot of potential mismatches and reminded me of a Strikeforce card. 2 fights into the main card, i stand by that statement. what we've seen tonight hasn't been to that level, but with every fight so far going to a finish (is that a record?), i don't think we're too far off. not a single fight that hasn't been fun. TJ Brown vs Erik Silva wasn't great but more "below average". @The Natural i know you had a lot happening this weekend, but this is a card worth watching. J.T. Posted December 11, 2022 Share Posted December 11, 2022 (edited) I had Paddy winning R1, but I gave R2 and R3 to Flash. Once Gordon worked out the nerves and settled down, he was on point. Gordon's counter left was so well timed.. I could've seen the judges giving the fight to Paddy simply because he appeared to be the busier fighter, but busy does not always mean accuracy or aggression. A lot of Paddy's kicks were thrown to create space and keep Flash from annihilating Paddy's chin with that check left. Either that or UFC is trying to redo the WWF title scenario in late 1998 (or late 1991 for that matter) have the title vacant for the better part of two months.
