  1. How hard could it have been to just book a finish where Becky knocks Ellsworth off the ladder in order to get the briefcase and win?
  2. Fight forever! Clap clap, clap clap clap.
  3. And just the other day I was saying in another thread that if you want to see Lorenzo Lamas as a villain, there's always LU. Oops. Anyway, congrats to Texano for having a match I didn't feel the need to fast forward any part of.
  4. If that's the case, Regal surely goes into the HOF that year. Will they hire Davey Boy's kid and have him win the Andre Memorial?
  5. Saw a commercial for it today. They're including events such as Golf and Archery. But yes, the Tug of War is back. As is the yellow jackets worn by the announcers.
  6. I think that episode's on POP TV today. The one with Jamie Farr guest starring, right?
  7. One Million Dollars. http://ew.com/tv/2017/06/10/the-challenge-season-30-mtv/?utm_campaign=entertainmentweekly&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_medium=social&xid=entertainment-weekly_socialflow_twitter
  8. What a glorious cast list we have here: http://tvline.com/2017/06/12/battle-of-the-network-stars-cast-taye-diggs-john-barrowman-abc/ Ponch and Jon from CHiPs teaming with The Renegade. And a partial West Wing reunion.
  9. He could've written Ice Ice Baby. Word to your mutha.
  10. OVW from late 2006-2007 was my favorite promotion back then. Sean Spears (Tye Dillinger) and Cody Rhodes first feuding with Deuce and Domino, then each other. Santino Marella's gimmick was Boris Alexiev, tapping people out with that Riddle of Steel armbar. Spears was an amazing heel, and actually had good, enjoyable matches with Colt Cabana. Yes, that Colt. Katie Lea's feud with Beth Phoenix ended in a ladder match. Shame they didn't repeat it at Mania or The SummerSlam with bigger ladders. ODB feuded with Katie too. And Gothic Mayhem was one of the most fun mid-card stables ever. Remember them? Platinum Pat Buck (of Cody Rhodes "the streamer thing" list fame), Johnny Punch, Melody and Roni Jonah. The gimmick was they were the biggest, greatest rock band ever, but they didn't actually ever play, thus drawing the ire of the crowds.
  11. How long has it been since Carlton was a powerhouse? I seem to recall a time when they were favored in most matches that didn't involve facing Gary Ablett.
  12. Should've asked for the next year's vintage. Or maybe you'd prefer Pearl Jam flavoring instead.
  13. For those of you that saw this week's syndicated show, specifically Marty's title defense:
  14. WrestleMania 1 was on closed circuit in different arenas. WrestleMania 2 was on Showtime. By chance do you mean one of the Starrcades? How about Superclash? Pretty sure the third one was PPV, but not sure about the previous ones.
  15. So we're now at MTV Real World providing 1 wrestling champ, and CBS' Big Brother now passing them with 2? As for that brick, will we come to learn it had magic powers like Catrina's stone of doom?
  16. "Mr. Morton, sir? Can you show us the proper way to wrestle a Hardy Boy while on a scaffold?"
  17. Most things in wrestling were better than anything involving Col. DeBeers.
  18. Looking back at both episodes now, would Mundo vs. Mack have been better if it were held to one single show? Could they have cut the injury angle, just had Dario come out mid-match and insist on Falls Count Anywhere for the remainder just for the sake of extra violence?
  19. And from this one post, I am completely sure that you're not Delirious.
  20. That Jimmy has been married to Precious since 1972 would have me thinking that Mr. Garvin would disagree with you. That Jimmy Garvin's defense of the honor of Precious, via cutting a promo saying he was going to beat up Ric Flair and take his title, inspired me to go to my very first live pro wrestling show would have me thinking that I disagree with you as well. And now I'm nostalgic for the days where I didn't know Garvin lost that match because of things like backstage politics, keeping challengers and champs strong, heat, draw and so on. Once upon a time Ric Flair was just a straight up cheater that didn't deserve to be the champ.
  21. There's that series based on G.L.O.W. getting released this year. They can just say that in their universe, Jimmy was on the NWA/WCW team that the GLOW girls faced on Family Feud.
