  1. PS4 until I one day get an Xbox One.
  2. I could force this year to happen financially, and I really want to go, but I'm still on the fence as to whether I am going. I've told people I would love to assume this is my annual pilgrimage until I have kids.
  3. Without trying it, I'd guess it would be "[ twitter] [ /twitter]" and whatever the link to the tweet is without the spaces.
  4. What I've read seems to imply that it ain't worth the extra $30. Yeah, I have a strong suspicion it'll be a PS + offering in the near future. I'm guessing Knack will be the first "disc game" to get that PS4 treatment.
  5. I'm hoping for a strong headliner. The top billing now appears to be: Kanye West * Elton John * Jack White * Lionel Richie Vampire Weekend * Phoenix, * Avett Brothers * That's all acts that I will see. Some I really have been meaning to see, but it's nothing that gets me super excited like "hey, Bonnaroo really did something special this year!" A lot of the stuff rumored for the under card sounds really good, but a strong middle in the undercard just means conflict hell. I guess I'll day pass Hangout to get the Outkast fix unless they get announced for Forecastle and even maybe if they get announced. Also, JT at Lolla might make me make the 13 hour drive just because that's cheaper than seeing him anywhere in the area. Tickets for his show are absurd.
  6. Amazon has the Definitive Version of Tomb Raider on PS4 for $39.99 today. Is that worth it? I held off on buying it on 360 a couple of weeks ago for $10 because this version is supposed to be gorgeous.
  7. Inforoo trying to bargain "please don't be Kanye" is pretty great. I really hope we get some out of left field big announcement like Daft Punk or Prince or even something weird like Justin Timberlake to beat Lolla to the punch. I seriously doubt it.
  8. I know this is beating a dead horse, but this show does not understand pacing, character development, or how to properly do a character study for that matter. I think a couple of weeks of the characters having to survive split up and help the audience develop some empathy would have been good, and then BAM! We're rushing to the next location for everyone to be at for the next few weeks.
  9. I am beyond ready for the Mike Dubose/Mike Shula era to return to the Capstone. If Kirby sticks around for Saban to retire, I have already nicknamed him Dubose Jr. I also am happy knowing that we at least win the rivalry in my lifetime.
  10. This coming from a Bama fan trying to sugar coat something that Saban is probably a major player behind the scenes in on this rule change. I thought about this today. Four out of Bama's last five losses have come against teams that hurried up against them. The only team that didn't was LSU and two of those other four losses were to Auburn (the other two were TAMU and Oklahoma). I will agree with you that this might not be as big of a deal as people are making of it, but it is still significant.. Auburn this year ran fewer plays per game most of the season than Malzahn expected, and the difference is the simulated snap situation prevents the defense from substituting when the offense doesn't substitute. Plus, there's already a rule in place to allow the Defense to make personnel changes if the Offense changes a single player on its personnel. I'm rambling, it's late, I'm tired. You get the point.
  11. I never said they weren't popular, I just thought they might be in a lot of people's top three, top five, but not actually be number one. In fact every band I've listed is very good or better, and they've made more money than I will ever see, but wasn't sure if they were any one's favorite all time band. Except for the Stones, I just fucked up there. How about Wings? I know alot of people love mccartney but would they prefer his singles stuff to the beatles? Or how about the Traveling Wilburys? The two albums are classics but might not make all time favorite status. . . I don't want to meet the person who loves Paul McCartney and thinks "sure, The Beatles stuff was good, but he didn't really peak until Wings." I mean, I'm sure that person exists, I just don't want to know them. Hello! After Bonnaroo, I'd pretty much take any iteration of Sir Paul.
  12. I thought the John Mayer/Keith Urban thing was better than expected. I like Mayer more than most, but I had forgotten that Urban is a pretty good guitar player. Also, if you're into Band of Horses at all, I highly recommend their Acoustic at the Ryman live album that released yesterday. That venue was built for their sound.
  13. I think it's there as a place holder that sets in motion on a RAW after EC what Bryan will be doing for Mania. Bryan/Kane could be The Authority's "proving ground" match for Bryan to enter the title match. It could also be to set Bryan up for Hunter if that's the route they go.
  14. In a show that has very few GOOD episodes of tv, I thought last night was a really good episode of TV.
  15. Okay, I am thinking of getting my fiancee an E-Reader for Valentine's Day. Is the Kindle Paperwhite probably the best way to go? If so, is it necessary to drop the extra dough for the 3G one?
  16. I guess this explains the Neon design of the website: http://news.xbox.com/2014/02/ent-bonnaroo
  17. Lips did a Beatles set during their New Years run in Colorado. The rumor is they'd do that set at Bonnaroo this year like they did with Dark Side of the Moon a few years ago.
  18. I was thinking more Beatles Superjam
  19. So this happened: https://twitter.com/BenFolds/status/431196480733736961
  20. The Shawn Michael's Wrestlemania 12 entrance is one of those "unforgettable entrances." It was also less than a year into me being a wrestling fan, and I was nine years old. They prepared for the entrance with Shawn's rope swing entrance at In Your House the month before in a forgotten great match with Owen. Also, The Taker Mania 14 entrance with the druids before he faced off against Kane was really cool with the lighted torches and Taker blowing them out as he walked by.
  21. I am not sure if it will make my final list, and it's been a few months since I've seen it. I really enjoyed The Rock's Snitch. That was easily one of his better performances, and a perfectly acceptable genre film. 2013 seemed to be lacking in good genre films after a really strong 2012
  22. That Fourth of July weekend would be somewhat doable for me for Sasquatch, but I thought the Memorial Day lineup was stronger. I'm also digging the Bonnaroo site design.
  23. To me (although they require a lot of discipline), I think either Eating Clean (there's also a diet called the Eat Clean Diet, which more or less is the same thing) and the Paleo diet seem to be the way to go and seem to be the least gimmicky. My biggest issue is most good diets require me to implement stuff that I just haven't developed a taste for (i.e. most vegetables (but steamed veggies seem to be helping there), Seafood, Eggs, and Peanut Butter).
  24. The Spectacular Now has a strong chance of making my list. I still need to see Short Term 12 and Gimme the Loot for the big buzz of 2013 films.
