RISE Wrestling is probably shutting down after next month

Hearing that most in this thread listen to older music, and then checking out the "What's your age?" thread... yeah, I'm not surprised. Ya'll about the same age as my Dad, and he's the same way (except for liking Chris Stapleton, newer releases from old bands/artists he likes, and TV/YouTube rips from shows like The Voice, American Idol, etc). I could definitely do a past decade best of list. I could probably do one that ranges from the mid/late 90s until right now, infact. On a sidenote, if ya'll aren't listening to the new Kamasi Washington, you're fuckin' up.

I wish I had memories of Vader like this. My first memory of Vader is watching his match with Goldust at Royal Rumble 1998. Fortunately for me, when I hit my teens, the internet was around, so I could find his work in (mainly) NOAH. I'm ashamed to admit it's taken me this long, but I just now got around to watching the Austin/Taker/Hart/Vader fatal four way match from 1997.

Rollins better be challenging Brock for the title if he’s going to drop the IC title to fucking Dolph Ziggler. I never skip a Rollins match, but as soon as that record scratch hit, it was fast forward time. To whoever asked about Ambrose - I read that he just started training again at the Performance Center this week, so he’s probably not too far away from returning. But that might be bullshit, no sources were attributed to that story, so who really knows. The only other parts of RAW I paid attention to were: Ronda/Alexa ( sign me the fuck up for that match, it’ll be fun). Also, this is one of the rare times where someone getting “suspended” didn’t seem super forced, since she wrecked Angle with that judo throw and totally demolished Alexa. That was a really awesome segment. And the other part of RAW I watched was the Riott Squad segment. Because everyone in that group is awesome - and Liv wore the Banned Jordan 1s (I’m pretty sure it was the Banned variation anyway), which I wore today too. Liv Morgan is my spirit animal and deserves a title run because she’s awesome.
