Bad TImes At El Royale could have been better. Awesome cast, great soundtrack. Half an hour too long, and prioritizes Tarantino tribute night far more than developing a sensible script. Oh and that Hemsworth boy's dick.

Crown Jewel - 11/2/18 from null, null
GuerrillaMonsoon replied to John from Cincinnati's topic in WWE PROGRAMMING
I'd love to see an angle in the main event where all three guys are down, when Mohammed Hassan's music hits, he runs out, cashes in the Money in the Bank briefcase that he paid SAUDI OIL MONEY to Baron Corbin to obtain, and then pins Roman. Hassan is revealed as the money man behind the Saudi PPVs. I demand Mohammed Hassan closure. -
Ill throw up Ruckus, mostly as I assumed he was dead.

There were a lot of fine people in that death match. -

Man I wish we got a run of Hogan/Abdullah in the WWF. So many opportunities for when too. I mean fuck Zeus. -
Oh my goodness. Eli being clutch and Gano making an extraordinary field goal in the same 5 minutes. What a morning

I've waited over 25 years for a show at the G, there was no way I wasn't going, despite how meh I was to the card. It didn't disappoint. It didn't wow. It was every bit what I expected. Buddy/Cedric was MOTN. Everything else was phoned in, I wish I'd been to the MCW show beforehand which apparently kicked all sorts of ass.

It looks like an SNL sketch at the end of the night that got thrown in there to make up time

I just got here. 40 mins to show starting and this is going to look ugly
-
Itll be patchy (most sold in the two cheapest levels) but with sheer size of ground I suspect it should look OK. Its 60k without being papered either. Was fully expecting discount tickets to occur and they havent. Global Warning wasnt hard to find a freebie. Hardly any here.

Expected crowd of 60k tonight

Could have been worse, he could have provided a running commentary. SHE ONLY TAKES HALF THE LOAD I DOOOOOOOOOO. -

Asuka's best match was against the fired Funkadactyl. All 4 of the Horsewomen aren't as good as Bull Nakano. I'd like to see one of the women given an Arn Anderson gimmick as a rib on the Revival. Even if its just a rehash of Kevin Nash's parody of him. Find a broad with a receding hairline, a spinebuster and DDT based moveset and a cooler of beer. -

That vision that Iron Man experienced at the start of Age of Ultron still hasn't come to fruition either. I suspect that will end up playing a role. -

I feel like Jericho has dismissed those rumours either in one of his books or podcast, where they talked about that Apocalypse stable, with Regal and I think Alex Wright being in there as well? He seemed like he'd never heard of it at the time. -
I forgot to restart Goff. Hope Winston doesn't retake his spot.

Heels That Are Incapable Of Being Babyfaces

This thread makes me want to see generic heel gimmicks like "evil foreigner/evil racist/evil ninja/evil executioner" come up with the necessary character scope to turn face. "HEY GUYS, I STILL HATE JEWS, BUT USA! USA! USA!" " I MIGHT HAVE THROWN SALT IN THIS GUYS' EYES, BUT YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN THE CONTENTS OF HIS HARD DRIVE" -
Has a show ever become so culturally dated so quickly as HIMYM? Barely ended 3 years ago, and it just feels from another era. Feels more at home in the late 90s crash TV range if anything.

THERE ARE CHILDREN WATCHING THIS SHIT

Yeah, that newspaper is notoriously fucked. Constantly racebaiting and dogwhistling over refugees. National embarrassment.
-
Would be fairly consistent for AJ to turn heel after Mania and be Bryan's first challenger too.

So I started watching Gotham, and now up to date. Not sure what was a bigger waste of time - watching it, or reading through 60 odd pages on here to find no-one else still watching it. It's enjoyable on a trash TV level, but it's like taking Dom Perignon and mixing it with Grape Fanta the way they take such great characters and fuck around with them in this way. And the stupid "WE ALL KNOW WHO THAT IS" type shit....spare me. If it wasn't taking a piss on longstanding beloved DC characters, it's not a bad show. Otherwise, its too much to look past.
