Amazing that the writer of a book would not know about a character's redesign

Big Lead had a funny article about the rampant number of blondes on FS1. Of course, probably just following Fox Corporate Policywith all the blondes on Fox News.

Also started as a villain then became an anti hero, which fits that mid to late 90s zeitgeist. (Yes, i presented this as a paper at the academic conference at SD.)

And, according to Meltzer, Rocky Johnson. -
Liked World's End. (Is this the right thread? Who can keep them all straight?) Thought it was good, but prob not as good as the other two. In order of personal preference, i'd prob go: 1. hot Fuzz 2. shaun 3. World's end And Rosamund Pike has become quite the fetching mature lady. One small niggle

The point remains. Other than deadpool, what other post bronze age chatcter became a breakthrough character for the big two?
-
As always it just begs the question, why not just make a new character? Because Lobo is one of the few post 80s character to become popular, so theres "name" value?

I heard someone say that there might be "too much" football at one time, since they used to watch the replays without knowing the results. Now, everything is on at once.

I thought Warlord was central states champ, but turns out he was only tag champ. However, to tie into the other thread, he was once #75 onthe pwi 500 in 1991.

I guess we know now what it would have been like if the internet had been around in 1988 when Keaton was named Batman. @CalendarMan69 "what? beetelejuice is playing Batman? eff that"

MLB 2013: August Thread... It's Getting Serious...
odessasteps replied to SirFozzie's topic in BASEBALL
I never put much thought into it. I just look every day and see he got a hit or two, which seems to keep the date the same. I hope he can get it next year, since i dont know if he will/wants to play two more years. -
I listen to SMW (from sports media journal)J and its usually a good show, although the audio quality can be dubious at times. (ECHOOOOOOO)

I dunno about next year, he's 278 away.FWIW, the Ichiro Hit Count twitter has forever projected his 3000th hit as 8/31/14.
