Watching the Pillman Documentary and clips on youtube of his WWF run makes me wonder if he wouldve gotten to the same level or close behind the level Austin got too if his ankle atleast recovered to level of him being able to work at a normal level. I do kinda see him leaving with Bret after Montreal because Bischoff said they talked about him coming back anyways before he died. I just see Pillman as a guy that would continued to do things to stay relevant so im sure he would've had many more tricks up his sleeve but you know he really wanted to be active in the ring. I think Kane's best matches were Survivor Series vs Foley right after his debut, the match where he dropped the IC belt to Albert on Smackdown and the Raw match against Big Show where they decided to chain wrestle for some reason. I like his first blood match at Kotr '98 and the return match on Raw vs Austin.

Axel should be in the spot that Titus Oneil is in now and I'm I big fan of Titus but he needs to be a RAW and Smackdown not NXT. I said in the Raw thread that I want Axel in NXT because I dont watch Raw or Smackdown but since Alica Fox has gotten a good spot again and Ryback is back as a face Ambose vs Wyatt intrigues me i may need to start back watching the main shows. I remember being geeked about Axel helping Rock and Brock get ready for their returns because I thought it would lead to a push.

TNA is not an alternative. NJPW would be. Thats how I've felt about TNA since the first cable deal. just because its another promotion with a national TV deal doesnt make it an alternative to WWE, to me WSX was more of an alternative. TNA has for most of its existance has tried to be mid 90's WCW, ECW attitude era WWF and WWE lite so many different times

I think fans chanting for CM Punk at shows is a fad for the most part, to me its just a what for fans to shit on the show when it starts to get bad. Im not mad at Punk for leaving because he was obviously burned out and not on a fake Shawn Michaels lose my smile type of power play move. Im sure the creative direction had added to him leaving like he did but I'm sure he wouldve gotten his way if he'd came back in a enough time for Mania. He was far from being held down in fact I believe the fact that HHH wanting to headline Mania with Punk goes to show how highly he was thought of.
