    I think it was the story they were telling. Taker is a sadist and wants to beat on him some more, Jeff is the underdog and extending his comeback makes him look better. Hubris/arrogance almost brings Taker down and by the very end he realizes it and acquiesces to the fact that he was almost undone by it (and that the kid is that damn tough), giving Jeff his props for that. Great storytelling.

    Hash having a body like Lena Dunham?! And yeah, looks like that's the Thunder Queen match but I haven't seen it in years. A DVDVR 100 induction so it should get a review. Kobashi/Hansen is perfect of course and gets my immediate vote. Of course there's also a couple Flair/Vader and Flair/Rudes and the Vader/Cactus death match from Halloween Havoc. And the very important Onita/Funk Exploding Barbed Wire match.

    This is still burned into my memory years and years (and many many braincells) later. The other one is one of the Jake segments where I think he stabbed him? I dunno, it's been too long and it was like watching something psychedelic when you didn't know what that was. And then there's this. Just too good. "CLIMB THE LADDER, KID! MAKE YOURSELF FAMOUS!"

    That reminds me of the great USA Network/Something Weird Video show Reel Wild Cinema hosted by Sandra Bernhard where they would cut movies down to fit within the hour time frame along with other stuff. I'm sure fanboys are doing this to Marvel and DC movies now and sharing them amongst themselves. And of course, all the episodes are up on Youtube RIP Mike Vraney
