i guess i'm just assuming. there's been talks and news of this movie for what feels like a decade at this point. sure, mostly the news is stuff like "director pulled out" and "negotiations with actor hit a snag", but it always seems like the film is highly anticipated.

just read that the Gambit movie was pushed back, again. why is it so difficult for Fox to get this movie made? it's not even something i'm pining for, but there's obviously money to be made. get your shit together, Fox.

yeah i saw that too. Corino played the part of regional NWA champion pretty good. Defended all over the place. i've read he hated doing it because he took more bookings, got paid less, and had more promoters try to screw him over while he was champ. freaking ridiculous.

just read Nightwing: New Order. picked up all 6 issues as they came out, but avoided spoilers and read them in one sitting. was hesitant going in, based on the premise, but i found myself enjoying it. fun ride. nothing too shocking or crazy, but a solid story. also just saw the rosters for the four new Justice League teams. umm, what? for those unaware: Team Mystery- Martian Manhunter, Sinestro, Superman, Starfire, Starro Team Entropy - Lobo, Lex Luthor, Beast Boy, Batman, Deathstroke Team Wonder- Raven, Doctor Fate, Zatanna, Wonder Woman, Etrigan Team Wisdom- Cyborg, Harley Quinn, Atom, Flash, Robin (Damian Wayne)

beat my 2nd game of 2018. This time it's another Wii-U game i got for X-Mas, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. Total playtime was 12 hours, 9 minutes and i finished with 69% completion. That is definitely good enough for me. There's some hidden levels i didn't unlock, so i'll probably eventually try to go thru those, but i'm not really a 100%er, so i don't stress over it. I feel like this game was very uneven. My favorite levels were the straightforward platformers. My least favorite were the levels that relied on the Rocket Barrel (FUCK YOU ROCKET BARREL!) A few of the boss fights gave me a good challenge (read: high frustration level!) but they're pretty straightforward in what you need to do to succeed. If anybody is debating picking this up for its upcoming Switch re-release, i say go for it! You can't go wrong with DKC.

i would watch 2002-2006 TNA over most of those options. i would rather watch 1999-2000 wcw than any tna from the last few years.

beat my first game of 2018. Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker for the Wii-U. Got it for X-Mas from the wife's family. Simple concept and pretty great in execution. Has enough level design quirks to keep it interesting. 100% the story mode. it opened up a second quest, which i haven't played yet, so i guess the journey continues.

Please suggest some fighters to keep an eye on and/or fights to check out to experience this previously unheard of fighting org.
