  2. Oh I know that, but there are people who like to try to make points about this kind of stuff and I wouldn't be surprised if Schilling is affiliated with a group that would be willing to waste the time and resources to attempt to make some point because they think they are right.
  3. I wouldn't be surprised if he has group behind him that is waiting for him to get fired to get some kind of free speech law suit going.
  4. I was speaking solely on total physical appearance and not movement or anything in-ring, Micheals still got a pretty good body but his face looks like it has been slowly melting since retirement but he looks like the guy who could still have a decent match if he wanted to.
  5. It was strange that Foley looked the best out of the three legends, the Austin description above is pretty spot on and Michaels has aged alot since retiring. Foley looked the best he has in years, maybe decades.
  6. he kept getting names mixed up in the Women's Title match too, the three of them are pretty different looking and their names are not that similar. WTF Cole. Owens should have found a way to take him out in the ladder match.
  7. AS many as it takes for him to get over. One of these big wins will take, damnit.
  8. I still like Dean and think he should be the one being pushed at the top, he can be good in the ring and a good promo. His match at Roadblock with HHH was probably better than anything on Mania other than the Women's Title match and maybe the Ladder match. But he can be so annoying with his gimmick sometimes that it's distracting. I thought he did his best to look good against Brock too but the layout of Brock's matches have become such a hindrance to getting anyone but Brock over.
  9. I think it's time to admit that the members of the Shield are not as great as we all expected them to be when they were together. The team kept all of their worst traits hidden, Roman didn't have to carry promos or matchs, but he had the spots and the look, Seth didn't have to carry promos and his spottiness and pacing problems was hidden as part of a group, Dean could carry the promos but wasn't required to be all zany and crazy all the time to stick out, he wasn't trying to work being a "lunatic" he was just a little eccentric. He seemed the most ready but man did he regress the longer he's been on TV.
  10. Cena might get to be a full on face for the first time in forever if they run that match. I actually hope they run it tonight and Cena wins (lol).
  11. That show was just too long. The main was probably the worst match on the show. Shane was able to counter the Hell's Gate a move Brock passed out in last summer, you know hte guy who cannot be beaten at all. Garbage. The leap of the cell was cool and I didn't hate the match but some ofthe spots were terrible. Thought for sure Dean would go over because how long can Brock go as the unstoppable (except by maybe the Undertaker, possibly) but nope we got the same Brock match we've been getting since after Mania last year. Boo. The ladder match was fun and I didn't mind who won as long as it wasn't Ziggler. The suplex Owens took on the ladder was insane. Sin Cara looked super awesome in his entrance gear. Ziggler looked like a super tool. Loved Stardust's tribute to Dusty. The Women's triple threat was easily match of the night. I think Becky or Sasha shoulda won but whatever it was a great match and was fun unlike most of the show. AJ jobbing was a head shaking moment but he's not Vince's creation so he's gotta pay his dues. New Day losing was odd, they've been so hot and the LON has been so not-hot that it seemed logical to award New Day with a Mania win but had to set up that segment with the old timers, I mean legends. Not like LON could have attacked the New Day after losing and still get the same result btu whatever. The whole show seemed to be, "oh you like these guys well FUCK THOSE GUYS TAKE ROMAN MOTHER FUCKERS HAHAHAHHA that's what you get and you'll like it"
  12. Figured I'd throw my perdictions out here before it gets locked. Ladder match - Sami takes the title to keep an extended program with Owens going. Kalisto retains US Title. Face divas over heel divas Sasha wins the title, Becky takes out Ric to have her moment of overcoming the Flairs Dean over Brock to try to give him the rub for a run over the Summer Dudley's over Uso's for a heel win Bray wins the battle royal if he's in it otherwise Cena if he's in it New Day over LON's probably to set up LON starting to split to free up Rusev and ADR Taker over Shane - can't see taker going out to Shane in Texas but sadly won't be surprised if that is what happens Roman over HHH - in a match that will be good-great but brought down by the crowd OR one of HHH's long drawn out affairs that will only be entertaining because of the crowd.
  13. Someone needs to hand Dean the steel steps.
  14. Doug is a very interesting character, some-what tragic but also truly vile. He is someone who has dedicated his life to his work and it has sucked his soul from him. He can never be a 'normal' person and it eats at him but he's so dedicated to helping Frank even though it is what is destroying him. I could easily see his (Extremely messed-up) relationship with the kidney widow leading to a crisis of conscious next season where he turns on Frank and kills himself because of it. I almost feel bad for him but he is so vile that I can rooted for him in the past but the last two seasons have put him in pretty um-redeemable territory
  15. The post mania bloodletting this year should be most of creative.
  16. Not surprised by this one bit, glad to see the Pats taking steps toward helping the line and getting another pick in the draft. Chandlers days in NE were numbered, Hightower and Collins are both in line for new contracts and there wasn't going to be room for Jones after his season and while he can be a great pass rusher Sheard was better than him and the front seven of the Pats d is strong with the line having some decent depth to it. Guess I'm gonna have to change my pic though.
  17. There is just something wrong with Heyman going for cheap pops by mention the name of the city, like he did at Roadblock. Vote AA they only bring things up to their level. Also the idea that it's unfair to compare NXT folk to the main roster is absurd, if it's not fair to compare NXT to main roster then we can't compare any one on the indies to WWE or any one on LU to anyone in any other promotion in the world. Just because the shows/crowds are different or smaller doesn't mean that we can't judge the wrestlers ability to perform infront of the crowds they perform in front of. We can't say while yeah Mastiff is fine on the indies but he might not be as over or as good on Raw so vote for ________, wrestling exists in different styles and promotions and venues and good wrestlers will excel in the environment they are put into, maybe AA is booked to their stregnths better than others and, yes, they are a newer team without a lot of tape available but that doesn't mean none of us can say, we think AA is much better at what they do and are asked to do than Brock is just because Brock does it on PPVs (while making all the other wrestlers on the roster look below him and unable to keep up, unless you are the Undertaker).
  18. It's a style the gets progressively more boring everytime I see it, like the Cena match was an amazing spectacle, but watching matches based around how many times Brock can german suplex someone gets repetitive and the matches that have deviated from the formula don't have a great success rate (in this voting period anyway) Mania and Summerslam were good (though I really hate the finish to the SS match, like it practically ruins the match for me) but other than that his matches have been at best in the, average to good-I-suppose range with the Rollins match being pretty terrible and I didn't care for the HIAC match at all either.
  19. Brock was diminishing returns the whole year. Jordan and Gable constantly bring freshness and energy to the product and are freaking amazing in the ring and their promos are...so sick. I don't know why Brock won last round and I don't get it why he'll probably win this round, the Mania match, which was easily his best work of the voting period, shouldn't propel him any further.
  20. Ugh two of my favorites to watch in wrestling right now, this one is going to take so much thinking over. CURSE THESE BRACKETS!!!!!
  21. I know I shouldn't be but I'm pretty shocked by the score here, I thought I was gonna be giving a sympathy vote cause Becky has had some really great moments but a lot more time just kinda being there, she's great I love watching her but i thought for sure Thatcher would walk away with this.
  22. Oh hey I moved into the top ten and am only maybe I do have a chance to finish with the highest score three years running. Thought the boards sudden Lucha turn messed up my prediction for Sabre Jr making it to the elite 8, I voted Virus but really thought the board would go for a top level indy guy over him for sure.
