  1. Bayley is probabky gonna be Sasha tag partner this sunday so it might be best to hold of on her fornthe surprise pop
  2. its like Vince is trying to sabotage the extension from thr start. Or he just hates smackdown
  3. Whats USA gonna do when live smackdown still pulls shit ratings due their oh so great roster
  4. KO is the best thats the perfect work and shoot tweet
  5. This has been so underwhelming but other than AJ, AA and Becky noone i care about went to SD so i can keep watching jusr Raw. but man did SD come off as second rate. And for all of Shanes talk about new guys and pushing young talent Raw is getting the best of the young guys. Shane is terrible at running a show
  6. While in the CWC folder i got to thinking about Kendrick and London and then Bryan and the Lance Cade and realized I want a 30 for 30 or similar documentary about the TWA guys. So much potential but so many issues.
  7. If Shane takes Cena and doesn't get any of the Shield guys doesn't his talk about being about the new talent and fresh young guys come off as lies. I mean it'll be a bad look for him but I'm sure I just put more thought into that than WWE
  8. I miss Low Ki getting good bookings why'd he have to be a such a dick
  9. In Jimmy we trust (for the first four games then it's Super-Pissed-Brady-Time)
  10. I was thinking about how if memory serves me correct that in the first draft the nWo was picked as a group and all the tag teams were picked as indviduals, that doesn't make sense unless groups of 3 can be drafted as units, then the New Day is safe. At least there is precedent for the New Day, if they get split they need to get Otunga on the phone and have him fight it.
  11. I really liked how Balor came off as vicious when working the knee over, it was almost heel-ish and it's not the first time this year he has shown a bit of heel in his work, I remember a match against Crews were he came off a little heel like. I hope he gets a heel run soon, I think it'll be better for him. Here's hoping he joins up with the club soon, which will eventually lead to either him or AJ turning face due to the inevitable power struggle.
  12. I don't think it did, at least not right away. But that could also be due to I just flipped between the two shows and never went out of my way to see all of both, and ECW stopped being shown in my area right around the time it wrestling really started taking off, the last episode I saw aired was when Lawler showed up in the arena I think, but even before that it was on so late that I usually was asleep or forgot it was on. Then after the WARZ I didn't feel burnt out and started following ROH when it started up. However, I did start feeling like I was watching out of obligation around 2009-2010 and when heel Cole was around I really really scaled back my watching to checking out things on youtube when they were hyped here, checking out Raw once in while (like once a every three months) and watching the Rumble and Mania. It was kind of disappointing to me because I knew I was missing a lot of Punk and Bryan stuff and they're two of my favorite guys but even when they'd pull me back in (such as MITB 2011) it would all end up reminding me why I wasn't going out of my way to watch anymore. I started to get pulled back in after the Cena/Bryan Summerslam match and started watching regularly again around last years Rumble and really NXT is probably the biggest thing that keeps me and my wife (she was a lapsed fan also but much longer than me in fact I didn't even know she ever watched wrestling until over a year into our relationship) watching wrestling. We watch Raw once in a while and all the PPV's but NXT is can't miss every week. I think I was brunt out for a while before I cut back on watching, I think the ROH style brunt me out more than WWE but WWE's booking probably made it easier to not feel obligated to watch.
  13. Lun was definitely the least impressive guy last night and I'd rather see more of Saez or Petiot than more of Lun. Lun does have potential, hopefully the exposure gets him more bookings in places that will help him improve or he gets signed to development, but he was obviously a step below everyone else on the show and having him on a show with Dorada and Ibushi really made him stick out. I hope that sometime in the future Dorada/Metalik gets signed by WWE he's so smooth and effortless, I think he came off the best, a hair above Ibushi who is so obvious a finalist in this that I almost feel like their setting it up for him to lose in the semi-finals or something, his whole push is just so HE IS THE BEST GUY IN THE TOURNAMENT that it's almost overkill but maybe that's just obvious to peoples like us who spend so much time thinking about and reading about and watching wrestling.
  14. Chiampa is from the atlantic ocean also according to the map and Puerto Rico has drifted north
  15. Nothing will happen to Penn State, I think they should not have a football program anymore and would not think it unfair if their whole athletic department was shut down or severely reduced, but the NCAA doesn't have the jurisdiction in this case and there would not be enough support in the state government if a politician tried to make anything happen. Plus from what I have learned of Penn St fans it would be political suicide to try to take down the football program for any Penn. politician cause those folks are cra-cra and hold a grudge as well as they hold a terrible person in high esteem because FAWTBAWLLL!!! Let's just hope that there will be no more horrible uncoverings related to this.
  16. I think Balor and American Alpha are the most solid locks for the draft, Bayley is probable depending on if they are doing Bayley/Asuka 2 or Nia/Asuka 2 at Brooklyn. Nak would not surprise me either way, he's ready to jump to the upper card of the main roster but there are stories that they can do with him in NXT. Ares could go or stay he's in an interesting position where he'd probably be better off staying in NXT for at least another 6 months but he's so polished that he's ready for live TV so he could be an asset there too but I think he'd be in a better position to succeed if he came up later. Mojo is likely, especially if Ryder doesn't take the US title off Rusev. Roode or Young could get drafted they don't need to be in NXT but they'd be good to help the young talent there. Alexa Bliss is probably the only female other than Bayley that I could see get drafted unless they draft Asuka despite being champ. If Champs are up for grabs I think Joe has a pretty good chance of going up. Blake & murphey would be best suited to go up and be a mid level tag team, they've got nothing left to do in NXT and I don't see either of them taking off as singles. Tye Dillenger could be good going up, he's solid and has a fun character but he's a good player/coach for NXT and that might be where he is most valuable to the company. I think Oney Lorcan could get called up too as a surprise/dark horse guy.
  17. Shhhh don't give them ideas.
  18. I was in and out for most of the show tonight, from what I saw it was pretty uninspiring but unoffensive. The end of the battle royal was something, didn't do a lot for Young but it'll probably give Miz some good promo fodder for Smackdown. Also hopefully this moves Corbin out of his feud with Dolph and into one with Crews which isn't much of an improvement but it is one. The Wyatt/New Day segment had potential, there were some really good things and some really bad things. The filter was too much, tone it down a bit, the cuts were too much too (same complaint i had with the FINAL DELETION), Xavier just going and hiding right away but Bray did have an ax, and him using the ax on the tree and leaving it there was silly. Now the image of Bray walking in the dark dragging the ax behind him would've been great footage for a vignette. Strowman came off like an actual monster in some of the shots the lighting and chaos of it all helped him a lot I think and scenes like Rowen trying to drown Kofi in a puddle and Bray sticking his thumbs in Woods eyes on the hood of the car were great at making the Wyatts look dangerous, truly dangerous. Things like this is what they should have been doing with the Wyatts all along, they don't need to be on Raw and Smackdown all the time, have them be in filmed things once and while brutalizing their targets. The end was terrible, it just dragged on and was McMahonamania and I groaned when it was announced there would be GMs for each brand also, more authority figures MORE MORE MORE that'll make things fresh and exciting. I just kept waiting for HHH to come out and stake his claim to the throne as the head of NXT and it never happened, its 2016 and I was disappointed that I didn't get HHH interrupting a McMahon segment. what is this world?
  19. I guess I differentiate between the gutwrench and the karelin lift too much. I want a nice standing gutwrench sometimes. I miss Bradshaw always backsuplexing people off the top rope. Someone needs to start doing that as a signature spot again, I'm sure it's still being done all over the world but I want to see it more often. Sure it's pretty high risk for a signature spot but at least give it to someone as a finish. It'd be better than the supeman punch/spear combo for Roman.
  20. I feel like I've seen atomic drops in NXT women's matches recently. Either last nights or last weeks in fact (Alexa's matches are running together for me because I just watched last weeks on Tuesday). No one does the slingshot suplex and its a damn shame. Gut-wretch suplex is a sweet move, I used to love when DiBiase would bust it out back in the day, with all the suplexing these days someone start adding it damnit.
  21. that was...something. Broken Matt Hardy is tremendous (assuming that its self-aware and not sincere) he had so many good lines in that, the wrestling wasn't really good but it was hilarious. The Willow popping out of the water moment was so ridiculous. I want to say this was terrible and in some ways it was (especially all the rapid cuts) but it was also entertaining and Matt has an amazing character. Broken matt feuding with face Wyatts would be amazing.
  22. Scotsman was usually good for a laugh, especially with how serious some of those writiers were back in the day
  23. That senton is a thing of beauty, rib-crushing beauty.
  24. Only if Roman puts you on the list.
