  1. Bito's first retirement was due to injury and kept her out 4 years. Bito's second retirement came around the time she was married. Like I think with the timing of when she had her kid she may have been technically pregnant during her last match. Hazuki's year off may have just been her finishing high school. She never retired during that time. Kid did the same thing.
  2. I liked S1, especially the mirror universe stuff since it brought us evil Michelle Yeoh. I've found the focus on Michael to easily be the weakest parts of the show. Didn't hate S2, but the Skynet/Control story was definitely weak and honestly not the thing to really pull for this show. It was particularly annoying since it screwed up Section 31 which was actually not supposed to be well known about at all. The entire point of that group was that they were essentially the CIA at its arguably worse morally and not known by damn near anyone. None of the alien nations knew of them. Even within Starfleet the group's existence could not be confirmed outside of them being officially sanctioned in the early days of the organization. I was so damn disappointed they didn't explore that more, especially with Yeoh's character having a decent position within the group.
  3. Yeah somehow Trust went from garbage to being as good as, if not better than, Luna's Howl. Not sure what the fuck happened there.
  4. Didn't catch any of the pre-show matches. The Women's SS match was fun though I don't think the fuckery at the end was quite needed. It also felt weird/dumb having Io and Bianca being so fine working with Rhea and Candice. I did like how things imploded for Raw due to Charlotte and Asuka. Would have liked more Io interaction with her two best friends. Styles vs. Nakamura vs. Strong was easily the weakest match. Some of the Styles/Nakamura interactions were good, but it just felt lacking with the slower pace. Strong felt out of place with these two and it felt like the match NXT needed to win the least out of the ones they won. I had no interest in Cole/Dunne. Fiend/Bryan was good and more or less what I was hoping we would get. Men's SS was good and probably MOTN for me. The only thing that pissed me off was WALTER's bs elimination. That happened way the hell too quickly and too easily, especially with how damn over he was. I was at least happy with how good he looked before then. I liked Seth getting a bit extra dickish right before his elimination. He desperately needs to be heel again. Keith Lee came out looking great even in loss. He was a star by the end of this. Brock/Rey wasn't some great match, but it was fun as a story/spectacle. Becky vs. Shayna vs. Bayley was pretty solid. Bayley especially looked good throughout the whole thing. That said, this one suffered greatly from being placed at the top. The crowd was tired, and this match just didn't have the momentum to really be main eventing, especially after the previous two matches. Definitely feels like this was the starting build to Becky vs. Shayna with the post match attack from Becky. While the match should be fun, I'm not really convinced its the big match to run with at Wrestlemania. They are going to need Shayna to leave NXT and build with the main roster audience sooner tan later for that to work. Overall I dug the show. It was nice seeing Raw in last place and NXT came out looking great.
  5. They have but not to retirement. Its a decent loss since she was a good challenger for the bigger belts.
  6. Its so random that this feels like the only thing that really makes much sense of it. Still a pity regardless of the reasons. Really thought she would be around for a good ten years at least.
  7. Io's first heel turn pretty much went exactly this way. She won the 5*GP in Stardom, formed a heel stable with Yoshiko, and was the most cocky shit around. The woman still couldn't be booed. Even her turn on her partner Mayu years later is looked at more of a tweener thing in Stardom's eyes because they had already known she wouldn't be accepted as a proper heel by then. Rhea's best matches in WWE are easily the Io semi-finals match from the MYC and last night's War Games. Rhea was so much damn better last night than she was a year ago.
  8. The triple threat was 5-7 minutes too long. It wasn't bad per say, but at some point it just started to drag. I honestly didn't pay a super amount of attention to Balor/Riddle. The men's War Games match was generally good, but paled in comparison to the first NXT War Games which isn't super surprising. This just didn't feel like enough of a proper fight/brawl at various points with them clearly killing time for the next big moment or spot. All that said, there were some neat spots, and Owens' appearance was awesome. It will be interesting to see if Owens is actually moved to NXT again or if this was just about kicking the Undisputed Era's asses. The women's War games was fantastic. The pacing and action was great. I loved the big moment with Kai's turn. That was just so beautiful with her trying to cripple her best friend. Loved Shayna casually walking down as she celebrated her team's obvious victory early. The finish was pretty much perfect with handcuffs coming into play after Shayna stupidly brought them in. This was easily MOTN and easily the best women's match in NXT this year. This was the best match and performance I can recall many of the women having in NXT. Candice might have been the weakest one here and even she looked pretty good. Why the hell was this not the main event? I like Owens but his appearance was not bigger than this. Anyways I enjoyed the show if only for the War games matches.
  9. That is a shame since there has been plenty of good matches since the update. Have you tried contacting them about it? If you have maybe you should try again in a couple of months after the Bushiroad buyout is official. Hopefully there will be plenty more people behind scenes who could help.
  10. As a wrestler? kind of. As a person? I'm just generally disappointed since I used to like him. I don't actively hate him, but I certainly can't really say I fully am a fan of his anymore. And really, that was even before the racism reveal.
  11. I appreciate the effort, but its just not as cool as Bull.
  12. This reminds me that her and several RISE wrestlers did a tour of Stardom last year. They were the unluckiest people alive with how many of them go injured either right before or during the trip. Only Dust made it out unscathed.
  13. The opening segment would have been nice had they stopped after Roman's speech. The bickering with Corbin just brought things down. The finish to Charlotte vs. Sasha vs. Rhea was neat. Match itself was pretty decent though Sasha and Charlotte went surprisingly light on each other at times. New Day/Heavy machinery vs. Undisputed Era was pretty good. Miz/Bryan was nice while it lasted. The horror movie mood lighting for the Fiend attacks really needs to die. The 6-man tag was good along with the post match brawl. After seeing this one and NXT's I have no idea how Raw's managed to suck so much in comparison to both.
  14. As one of the people who still plays semi-regularly I have to agree with this. While I wanted another Fallout game, 76 wasn't really it. Even the interest I had with the idea of Fallout online it doesn't quite fit what 76 gave us. Its a subscription service for private servers. The thing is too limited and too pricey. It also has items people were interested in (Ranger armor, scrapbox) that they can't otherwise access w/o being members. I don't have a problem with the idea of it personally. I just think it needs to be cheaper, have sustained worlds/servers, give more options for the rules of said worlds/servers, and maybe remove the scrapbox access for whenever these people play the game in regular worlds. According to some youtubers who have done some digging it has to do with Zenimax likely wanting Bethesda to create a regular, consistent profit so they can eventually sell the company. Apparently they tried to do so a few years back only to have no buyers due to how the company earns profit with only one big release every 3 years. The profit might be big, but its not the way the current owners want to earn it.
  15. The game never played so terribly for me around that time. I enjoy it, but the community is a bit up an down with their being legit reasons to be annoyed and angry with Bethesda and others where its ind of clear people just want shit for free. The big thing though is the in game community is usually helpful with each other, so helpful to the point where it kind of shocked Todd Howard. I can kind of see why considering how many people have complained about Bethesda not giving enough evil options in the past (FO4 specifically) The story they set up explains the empty world well. I actually like it, but its definitely something that can only go so far when trying to create a gameplay with replay value. Wastelanders is the overhaul you're waiting for. It won't come until some time next quarter (likely January or February). They pushed back its original release (this month) to give it further fine tuning. Basically they wanted to avoid the same disaster they had during its release. Of course they screwed themselves a bit further by not also pushing back a subscription service for private worlds set to release around the same time.
  16. I mean even if they had done another Evolution this yer it wouldn't have been the main event.
  17. Ryker is w/o question the worst member of the group. I'm not sure how you can even argue otherwise when they have had to redo finishes to his matches a couple of times at least.
  18. To be fair I was multitasking with other things at the time so I didn't notice any particular drag. Really though how much of this is the match truly dragging, and how much of it is you not giving a damn about the Forgotten Sons? Blake and Cutler have been a solid team and are usually presented as a decent threat. Yet you compare them to the Conquistadors. That just isn't sensible.
  19. Becky/Rhea was nice while it lasted and definitely one of Rhea's netter performances. The Ricochet attack leading to Ricochet/Riddle leading to a post match brawl with Nakamura, Cesaro, Strong, and Finn was all fun, but maybe should have been saved for later in the night coming off of Rhea and Becky defending against the Horsewomen. Revival/ReDragon was unsurprisingly great. It was nice seeing the Revival get a good showcase again. KLR/Kai was solid. The post match brand brawl was decent enough. They highlight was easily Kairi & Io seeing each other again and their reactions. Viking Raiders vs. Forgotten Sons was solid. I kind of love that Forgotten Sons are hated so much that none of the NXT fans can bring themselves to cheer for them over the Raw/Smackdown invaders. I paid little attention to Cole/Dijakovic since it seemed to be about hat I expected with Dijakovic bumping around ridiculously for a guy who was a foot smaller and likely weighed 70+ pounds less. The post match brawl was way the hell better than what we got on Raw. Seth was the biggest heel on the enter show, and I dug the faceoff with Ciampa at the end. Won't happen but I really do kind of want Seth to join NXT at SS. You could go the route of him coming into NXT as the biggest heel on the roster or having HHH bs Rollins and leave him to Raw anyways with Seth being hated there for his betrayal.
  20. They have overdone the sneak attacks. Its become predictable. They needed to do more official challenges instead.
  21. Oh I know. The overshield was too much. I'm not all that bothered by the health regeneration. I just know there have been way too many times I could have easily taken out Titans if they didn't have a damn overshield.
