  1. One of the DOA era Harris Twins I would imagine. Ok, since Austin stunned him that one time, the guy I didn't get could be Jarrett.
  2. This is amazing. I was able to identify all but one. Who is the blonde guy with a mic on the right hand side next to Lita, below Slaughter and above Funk?
  3. Yeah, as I've said before, Mastiff certainly deserves better.
  4. That would be a great way to do things if you find that you have booked yourself into a corner and the guy with the briefcase definitely isn't someone you'd want to give even a BS reign to! Have them cash in, and get kicked in the groin for an instant DQ, then the champ takes the briefcase and beats the everloving fuck out of the MitB winner so badly that they will not be around for a good while afterwards.
  5. Did Kacy Catanzaro really tear her ACL at some point and the Xia Li match and stoppage was a way to explain that or were the crutches and the kneebrace this week just paying attention to detail? It's a real damn tragedy if she's badly injured for real! If it's been reported, then I have missed it. Not that I check anywhere but here, but still.
  6. Which may be part of the reason they gravitated towards one another in the first place.
  7. Bayley was "It's Bayley" , but other than that, I don't believe so!
  8. Yeah, not a great week. After diligently getting 5 workouts in last week, I was totally smoked this week and only got in two, plus one stretching session tonight, before my shift. Yes, the night shift as well as yet more snow didn't help matters, but things aren't as bad as they were two weeks ago. But my legs are shot. No leg day this week (again) and yet they are stiff and sore. Both workouts were very ordinary and sadly did not get to try any of Gordi's suggestions, as of yet. But at least Gorilla Row looks like something I need to give a go. Weight is pretty much maintained at 185-188lbs and working the nights seems to have a bit of a negative effect on my appetite as of late. We shall see, if I can bounce back next week, or is this the beginning of running myself into the ground that I was worried about? I still need to hang in there for a couple more weeks, before the longer time off. Wouldn't want to mess that up.
  9. Yeah, I seem to recall someone putting it out there, maybe once, I don't know. Or, maybe that didn't happen, and I remember wrong. I mean, who the hell knows, anymore?
  10. Let's see if there will be any subtle references to a DDT(s) on a steel chair, a coal miner's glove, a snake biting someone's face or spinning wheels in the coming weeks. Anything to give it a little continuity would be super cool! ...SMG seems to have a similar train of thought, albeit from a different standpoint....
  11. Yeah, last thing we need is some crazy old person using Twitter as a platform to spout out insane things. Be glad that NEVER happened. We all dodged a giant bullet there!
  12. Well, I'm glad this community could give guys at this level some pointers on how to get out of a shitty situation with a combination of logic and comedy. That went about as well as it could ever have.
  13. Well, the fans were the only ones getting burned on this one. Considering how things went, at least Kingston would probably prefer some minor burns rather than looking like a moron.
  14. For better or worse, this is the first PPV since original Double or Nothing to garner 30 pages of discussion. I mean sure, a lot of it is critical, but there is more discussion and therefore interest than there has been in a good while. And it seems that there are people taking part in this discussion that I haven't seen before or in a good while, so that tells you something as well. Even if most of this crew is among those who are "already watching".
  15. Well, I just added BOTH versions on one of my gym playlists last night!
  16. No, it seems like that theme gets a decent amount of much warranted love around here! I was really glad they recycled the theme and gave it to Bodies at the time. On another note, Heavenly Bodies vs Beverly Brothers could have been an interesting match, had it ever happened, and had it been given 10 minutes or so. ...Only now saw Petrol's post and I swear I was going to mention that it's unfortunate that Shane Douglas' theme wasn't recycled in a similar way for somebody else!
  17. Almost. It was New Foundation and Owen as a single before joining Koko in High Energy. The Beverly Brothers first theme was similar, but not the same. It can be found on one of those Uncaged compilations issued by WWE (on Spotify, at least) It was titled "Brothers".
  18. I mean unless it's pork or chicken (and a steak by definition, isn't) this the truth, not that it had nothing to do with the point itself. If I was using that particular metaphor, I would have said "the steak felt overcooked", but that's neither here nor there, either.
  19. In regards to the blue dot story, I bet Christian's face looked especially ratty when sneezing in front of Vince at some point! Completely rhetorical, but seriously WTF is literally wrong with Vince's brain? Well, it is wonderful that there are slightly more options, if one wants to continue as a wrestler even if the owner of the biggest company dislikes you because of something I'm sure even Vince himself couldn't fully explain.
  20. At a first glance, I read this wrong and was wondering what wrestling is there on "Christian TV"? But yeah, you mean once he gets going on Dynamite. That should be quite the treat, with the right opponents.
  21. The list of guys who were an IC Champion at a Wrestlemania AND an US Champion at a Starrcade, isn't all that long to begin with , so it should count for something !
  22. Remember when AEW started there was all the talk that they (well, Cody at least) wanted it to be like early 90's WCW and at least some folks were getting really excited about the prospect. Well, I'm sure in their minds, that's EXACTLY the part of the early 90's they were all clamouring for! Holy shit!
  23. Theme-music distraction for the roll-up pin in the next match the heel has with some midcarder? Or wait, was the question somewhat rhetorical in nature? I'll just add a theory on Eddie's selling onto this one. Maybe he was so mortified and embarassed that he "risked his life" to help out Mox of all people, then realized that there was no real explosion/ danger coming, so he actually passed out from the shame he felt for being duped like that? I mean, he's a proud and a stubborn man, who probably likes to think of himself as being smart, wily and cunning. Being made to look like dork by a geek like Kenny, probably ate away at him in such an instantaneous manner, that he couldn't take it and passed out.
  24. Yeah, I know that diet, apparently it involves no carbs and a metric shit-ton of protein and supplements. Jinder has been on it for the same damn thing for half a dedade. But yeah, gaining almost any amount of mass to any tiny frame is possible with enough chemicals injected into one's bloodstream. We were wondering if he could do it within the "Wellness Policy"-bounds? Well, no we weren't even doing that. It was more like, another guy who wasn't on steroids/HGH is now (or would be soon after hitting the main roster) on at least something. Oh, and I would never wax my philosophical on a wrestling message board (or anywhere else , where there 's a bunch of other people ) , I'm just not that kind of a person!
