  1. I'm on my phone so I'm not putting a link here but TMZ is reporting that Kevin Nash and his 18 year old son were both arrested for a domestic dispute after getting into a brawl with each other. Both look smug as fuck in their mug shots, to the surprise of no one.
  2. Being completely out of the TNA loop for the last couple years, I really didn't even know what she looked like. Your post led to quite the lovely Google image browse. Thank you, good sir.
  3. Heidi was in the green wig. Whenever WWE television is from anywhere in the Midwest, I scan the Rosebuds for anyone I know personally. It's a fun game
  4. It's not just photographs. She has a weird smile she does, in photographs and promos and interviews etc, that always looks like she's half a second away from violently biting someone.
  5. Except for having him put over HHH. Punk was WWE champion for over a year, had a Mania match with Taker, was protected against Brock and was booked to go over HHH at WrestleMania. How many guys have been given those opportunities? The only gripe he has from a booking standpoint is that he's not John Cena. He was the clear #2. All the injuries and medical issues and money issues are something that I can completely understand but the booking stuff... nah. That is where he came off as a whiner. Thing about it is though, Punk kept saying, "If I'm not the guy, no problem. Just say so and I'll go home. Because that's really all I'm interested in doing right now." And they kept telling him, "You're the guy! You're the guy! You're the guy!" And he obviously wasn't. They shoulda just told him that. Coulda saved a lot of heartache for all sides and would have helped Punk's health. Just my opinion, but this itself makes him sound completely whiny as well. As has been said before, when it comes to his health, I can understand any gripes. But the whining about how he was booked is irritating at best. So few guys get to do a fraction of what he did. AND get paid very well for it. All while being allowed to whine about it publicly on their national television and PPV broadcasts.
  6. I find Jericho's pre interview stuff VERY annoying, but it seems odd to me that people use it to assume that he's an ass, a dick, etc in real life. I mean, at the end of the day, his opening to his podcasts are still him in an entertainment forum and putting on a show. Once he's interviewing people, he seems perfectly fine. In fact I really like the conversational tone of his interviews and he comes across as a smart and likable guy with a lot of similar interests as me, and he seems legit interested in what his guests are talking about. And I love the interviews with his son, not only because Ash seems awesome, but you can also tell just how proud and happy Jericho is to be hearing his kid talk about a subject he loves. It's kind of touching. If I'm basing someone's personality on hearing them in an interview or podcast forum, then Jericho seems OK and Punk is the one that seems like an incredible douche-nozzle.
  7. I did time working for Blockbuster myself. I'm sure we could fill a while thread with stories of working at video rental or sales places. Oddly enough, with Blockbuster dead I assumed that business model was dead and gone. But I drove by a Family Video yesterday with a sign out front that said "Now hiring. Opening 200 stores." Um.....what????
  8. When more people HAVE listened to it than have subscribed to his streaming service and it's about HIS BILLION DOLLAR business, yeah, he should. More people listening to one free podcast that word of mouth called controversial than signing up for a streaming service subscription that is 10 dollars a month is hardly a big deal. Free and hyped for a week is a lot easier to commit to than a monthly service you pay for. Somehow I'm guessing Vince McMahon isn't concerned about these numbers. At all. Nor should he be. Nor have the numbers probably even crossed his mind. Nor should they.
  9. In 7 years, my cat has peed on the bed three times. Each time, I took her to the vet to make sure it wasn't a UTI or something. On the last occasion the vet basically said any number of things can make a cat do this. Sickness, age, being moody, unhappy with the litterbox situation, etc, etc. She said even something as simple as looking out the window and seeing another cat walk through the yard (she's strictly an inside cat) if she's territorial enough. She said the long and short of it was that if was a UTI or something treatable then they could help..........otherwise we may never know. She hasn't done it in quite some time. After the last time I bought a new mattress (an expensive solution but I needed one because it was old anyway so it was justifiable), put not one but two good quality mattress guards on it, the kind that goes on under the sheets, like a fitted sheet, and hope she's got it out of her system. Much like you, OSJ, getting rid of her was NEVER an option. She's my sidekick and I wouldn't trade her for the world, so she's a lifer.
  10. The music in Sinister is unsettling and fantastic for setting a creepy mood.
  11. What if the answer was "I could, but never have because I've just never had the urge to bake one." That would be my answer. I am quite confident I could follow the directions to do so, but there's never been an occasion when I've wanted to bake myself one. Or one for anyone else, for that matter. Either way, I prefer that type of question on a job interview over the pre-packaged nonsense questions.
  12. So its okay for us the bitch about booking and match outcomes but he is a mark for voicing his opinion on the long term use of his future. Austin always encouraging guys to speak up and get noticed. WWE doesnt seem to invest in guys that arent on Cena level, On a creative level every thing Punk spoke up about Ive been seeing people here bitch about. Punk seems to really want to get other guys over too. That Doc was just on Jericho's show & Punk buried the fuck out of him. I want Del Rio on Colts podcast now he isnt much of a WWE sympathizer either as wel as Richardo Rodriguez , Multiple time heavyweight/world champion, multiple time tag champion, IC champion, ECW champion, Money In The Bank Winner, one of the matches of The Streak, one of the rare indy guys who had a deal to keep his name, given a lot more leeway than most guys on promos (including a major promo on live TV where he was allowed to shoot on the company), given a variety of merchandise, always featured on PPVs while active even if he wasn't in the main, made enough money to buy a house for himself free and clear as well as Joey Mercury as well as enough money to have a few million socked away while attending sporting events he loves and given enough mainstream exposure that he gets gigs like writing comics and appearing on Talking Dead, etc..................those are off the top of my head. So yeah, WWE just never invested in the poor little fella, did they? It's a shame he wasn't more successful. Hope I don't get punched in the throat by the poor angry disgruntled millionaire with the nice home, hot wife, legions of fans, and legacy in the largest wrestling company on the planet.
  13. I was at In Your House: Buried Alive in Indianapolis, and the dark main was Goldust vs Michaels. There was a great promo segment before where Goldust had them hit Shawn's music and did the sexy boy prance and dance. They then proceeded to have a really fun match. And about 2 days later I went to a house show in Evansville, IN and they did the exact same match and promo, spot for spot, and it was still awesome the second time. And goddamn yes Dustin belongs in the Hall of Fame. As far as the "No one ever bought a ticket just because he/she was on the card" argument...... even if that is true of Dustin, I'm sure there are several people in the HOF that could be said about. But as previously mentioned, being a midcard supporter was and is a very important role.
  14. But that goes against the weird trend in the last year or so that somehow posters on here always find a way to explain why the heels are actually sympathetic babyfaces. The Authority, Rusev, etc. I dunno man, I don't get it.
  15. How is it physically possible for someone to not like Tito Santana? Edit: I got Bruno, Barry Windham, The Natural Disasters, and Dean Ambrose.
  16. Grumpy Cat must be well behaved. My cat lets me pick her up and hold her because she adores me, but if anyone else does, she does not care for it in the least bit and will put a stop to it. If you sit somewhere in the house she'll eventually come to you and want to to mingle or sit in your lap, etc. But picking her up? No way. Meanwhile Grumpy Cat is just chilling with everyone.
  17. This is just beautifully hypnotic and I've watched it roughly 3,000 times. Damn, I miss Eddie
  18. I'm the type of person that hates anticipation and the unknown anyway, so add in the fear of thinking something could be wrong......man, that's just fucking awful. And unnecessarily cruel.
  19. Walt Goggins and Kim Coates actually brought tears to my eyes tonight, goddamnit.
  20. Zoidberg even said something to the effect of "I guess everybody gets to say something......and that's all I get." Or something to that effect. I'm a big Zoidberg mark, right down to my Zoidberg tattoo.
  21. Man, that sucks. I can just echo what other people have said......even if you don't "know" someone, you get used to seeing their posts on here and find yourself really invested in the snippets of their life you get to see. Rest in peace, man.
  22. Ha! Nope, just a woman with her hair down then a woman with her hair sweaty and pulled back.
  23. I remember things like this happening more than once during Yoko matches. I'm just baffled that no one ever died......unless random cities/arenas around America have shallow graves in their parking lots and coincidentally some local indy wrestlers "moved away" around those times. I should also add, for no reason other than because, that I fucking love Yokozuna. On the other topic......I wrestled a woman on a show a few months ago.....in a hardcore match. We were both scheduled for other opponents. She was actually scheduled to wrestle the hardcore champion but he had to miss the show due to an emergency. The promoter said "Hey, you guys are both really over babyfaces.....want to work each other and just make it fun?" She's actually a really good friend, so we jumped at the chance knowing it would be easy and a lot of fun. We wore each other's T shirts to the ring, did some pre-match promo shenanigans, started respectful as she arm-dragged me and I talked a little smack that made her angry, then 99% of the rest of the match was her dragging me around the ring and arena beating the brakes off of me. I got color. The only offense I got in was chopping her a couple times, hitting her across the back with a kendo stick, and catching her at the end as she went to the top, choke slamming her off the top and pinning her. We hugged in the ring after, then she proceeded to it me with a stunner and stand over me much to the delight of the crowd. Everyone was happy. And just for trivia's sake, she's not only a close friend and an awesome person, but legit one of toughest people I know. Not just "tough for a girl wrestler" but just a tough wrestler period. And hits harder with forearms than any man I've ever been in a ring with. Not yelling at anyone for their opinion; I'm just telling my story. Edit: Just for fun, a pre-match and post-match photo.
  24. That most recent episode literally had me laughing out loud several times. Everybody was just on fire and the episode really flowed well.
  25. I've missed some news......what came out about Ricardo?
