The fridge lives again. Luckily it just needed to be defrosted, the fan and sensor both seem to be fine. And it gave me an excuse to clean and sanitize the inside which was, if I'm being honesty, pretty damn gross. But our router and both humidifiers decided to shit the bed so between that and replacing all the food we lost it's been an expensive week.

Everybody should have known Ben Vereen was bad news when he ran out on his son AGAIN and left Uncle Phil to pick up the pieces.

I got my first official hole-in-goddamned-one in Everybody's Golf. And it was in the International Tournament with the tiny cups and championship tees. Nobody can tell me shit today! I also beat Mom's Heart in BoI twice, although the second time I used the bible so that's kinda cheating. As someone who is generally bad at videogames I've been on a real roll lately.

One of Friends' legitimately great episodes was in the first season where there was a conflict between the ones that had real jobs and the ones that were broke and how money affected the group dynamic. And then they never really engaged with that again.

I dunno about that, but I do think it's crazy underrated. It's the Ben Wallace of 90s sitcoms.

I'm enjoying Steamworld Dig 2 a whole lot, even though the first one never really clicked for me. It's a good Metroidvania with some tricky puzzles and pretty relaxing progression. Also I'm finally getting into Binding of Isaac in a big way. My wife really enjoys watching me play as she can be on wiki duty and look up what all the items do.

Luckily we knew the fridge was a POS and were already planning on replacing it when we put the condo on the market, so we have a little money put aside for it. But it sure would have been nice to have this happen last month when I had time off work and all this shit was on sale.

Snowden is a totally different deal; he (allegedly) violated federal laws about disclosure of classified information. NDAs are civil instruments; the worst thing that can happen if you violate one is being sued. But they're still bad and usually over-broad and should be done away with in most cases.

Went home for lunch today and our fridge was room temperature. The freezer is still plenty cold, and I can hear the fan going so I'm hoping it just needs to be defrosted. Not the best way to start the year.

That's also the only reason Woody makes movies. Personally I got tired of seeing Woody's first drafts on screen, him being a creep was just icing.
