It seems to be swinging towards a marginal, but clear no to independence right now.
I think this is a pretty interesting situation for north America to look at because the majority of the discussion about what comes after the vote seems to be that the next step is about how does the UK de-centralize power from a federal level into more power to the regions of Scotland, England, Wales, and Northern Ireland. I've believed for years something similar happening between the Canadian government and the provinces is a necessary inevitability. I would also suggest that at some point it's going to be a very large issue in the USA as well. This next year or two of how this plays out is probably a process we should be watching closely for a blueprint for our own futures to some degree.
