They may also have the worst customer service of any major company in Canada. I don't want to say the world because at least their call centers are, you know, in Canada and have people that speak the native language. That's the closest I can find to a compliment for them. But my God I've never seen a company whose staff are so evasive about even the simplest questions.

I don't want to talk so much about the Tottenham/Newcastle game, only partially because it was on the channel I can't see. There may be other reasons.

That was a great finish at Old Trafford because both of those teams are awful and watching them dick punch each other is exactly how it should be. Everyone left unhappy, so that's excellent. Though in seriousness it's a shame there was no Costa and no Falcao today. Would have really put it over the top.

Dortmund's struggles are pretty inexplicable to me. That is a hell of a team on paper.

I don't know whose idea it was to co-ordinate the anthems in Ottawa, Toronto, and Montreal tonight, but that was incredible.

It had one of those old battery saves on the cartridge, but it was also like hardcore D and D rules stuff where your characters would age if you rested at the inn to heal too many times. You could actually just sleep in the stables for free and get around that though (and I was never sure if that was on purpose or a bug).

The only time I ever used actual graph paper was for the first Wizardry on the NES, because if you didn't map that sucker out good luck. That was the grindiest game ever. Like if you went to the second floor before you'd played for like 5 hours you were a fool. I also remember on the last couple floors there were vampires who could drain your character one level if they hit you sometimes. Fuck those vampires.

That got a like just for the Iron Maiden bit.

I'm starting to enjoy this season.
