I guess it is a weekly series but not a series about Wrestlemania 30 which is what I thought it was in the beginning. The thing I forgot watching this was how Taker losing to Brock wasn't just a wrestling story it was a national story. It wasn't just marks on message board going crazy it was Grantland and Deadspin and Yahoo and TMZ and ESPN. Pretty amazing stuff. Yeah I would have liked to seen all the stuff that dealt with Taker passing out and needing assistance but that could be argued as really tasteless and exploitative.

I don't know if you have NFL Now channel/app but they have a section called "Road to the Super Bowl" which is basically a collection of "NFL <insert year> shows". Also has that legendary 1974 Championship Chase show which features the famous Raiders poem. They were 30 minutes but they started getting an hour around 1984 I think. Awesome stuff. The 1969 version is the weirdest because it feels like either John Facenda or the writers dropped acid doing it.

I love that idea that Meltzer thinks that WWE guys are stealing spots from New Japan now. Oh really you can tell that Bubba Ray is stealing spots from Ishii? Yeah I am sure that Bubba Ray was doing none of that before 2012 - 2013.

A good part of it is people being spoiled but I think the majority of the reason why people are pissed is because it was so obvious that Bryan wasn't in the plans. At least as of now. Personally I wouldn't have minded Reigns winning but for god sakes guys like Bryan should have been more competitive if they are main event guys. At the very least wait until Reigns comes out before you eliminate him. I think it more fucked up that Kane was a final four person than anything. I mean sure he has to get some phony record but the man NEVER WINS and is usually in dull matches. That is more telling of someone that doesn't care about fans thoughts than Bryan's elimination

That post show interview with Reigns and Rock was so damn confusing. I mean from the looks of it they are BOTH turning heels which is amazing in stupidity. But maybe he was acting like an asshole because Tom Phillips was horrible and giggling like a school girl every time he said something. You can't say it was a bad PPV because of the Triple Threat and to be fair the first half of the Royal Rumble was booked great. but that elimination of Bryan just crushed the crowd. At least give the fans a reason to care. When you put out Big Show and Kane as your final four you are basically telling the fans that your opinion doesn't mean shit

But given Dana booking lately, god only know when it will happen I am sure there is some dream fight that has to happen and then the eventual rematch. If Taryn is the bench mark maybe instead of doing Total Divas they should have the divas work as stunt women before wrestling. As this part it may the last straw for Eva Marie and Rosa mendes because teaching them hasn't helped one bit. I mean as good as Taryn is in TNA she was hundred times awful as Tiffany in WWE

I don't think there's a much worse point of view a person could take in this. You're making a determination of whether or not the cheating made a difference which for one thing is really impossible to know for sure regardless of opinion, and you're using that to say the cheating didn't matter. Cheating is cheating. How about they start calling penalties that way. Offensive pass interference? Ah, he would have caught the ball anyway so fuck it no penalty. Holding? Doesn't matter, he wouldn't have made it to the QB so no penalty. Illegal forward pass? He only stepped over the line of scrimmage by a couple feet so who gives a shit, would have had the same result from behind the line. Each one of those examples features a situation that impacts a play. if you interfere with the receiver you are restricting the receiver from catching the ball. My point is how did deflating the balls actually cause a team to be better than the others. If we are going to turn this into a horrible crime then I want all of Aaron Rodgers wins and yards up to a certain point taken off the record because he admitted that he deflates the ball to a certain level. But we don't hate the Packers as much as we hate the Patriots (member of that club by the way) so that is okay. that is my biggest gripe

Just because someone didn't have to cheat, doesn't excuse them from actually cheating. If Mike Tyson started every fight by kicking his opponent in the nuts, when he eventually would have knocked them out any way doesn't mean he shouldn't kick people in the nuts. The issue isn't that it had any bearing on the outcome of the game, the issue is that they tried to do something illegal to help them in case the game was close. There is no way that 11 out of their 12 balls were under inflated on accident, especially when we know that none of the Colts balls were under inflated. Someone decided to deflate those balls, and thankfully it had no bearing on the outcome of the game. That does not mean that it wasn't wrong. The problem with your argument is that if I kicked you in the nuts the chance of me knocking you out is significantly greater. There is no proof that deflated the balls actually help the Patriots in the game. It doesn't make the Colts tackle worse. It doesn't make defending the run harder. In fact it has been proven that when the balls were "fixed" in the 2nd half that the Patriots dominated the Colts even more. So this "cheating" actually hurt their own team. Unless you have some brilliant proof that the Colts would have led 7-0 at halftime which still would have made the final score 28-7 Listen if you want to treat the the spitter in baseball or doing something to the tarp on a wet day to make the field muddy then fine but the idea that we are going to punish Brady and/or Coach Hoodie in the same way as the Saints and Sean Payton is just embarrassing to me.

I just wished someone in the press conference would have just admitted that they are asking questions because they are doing "balls" jokes. The idea that the Meltzer Driver and Alvarez book won an award makes me wonder how much trolling is going on in this awards While Adam Rose has sucked in the WWE the fact that it was really popular in NXT that year makes the Worst Gimmick award stupid. Plus if you look at the others (Samuel Shaw, Menagerie, the Bunny, etc) makes it worse

Depends on the location. Last year was pretty bad because it was in an extremely cramped area with long lines to get in even if you had a ticket for day. Other years have been good. But it is definitely a good place to go to get stuff like DVD and figures and stuff unlike Axxess

So where are these Main Event spoilers from last night actually going to? Are they going to be shown on Hulu like Superstars was when that show was gone
