There was a rumor last week that TNA was courting Alberto with the promise of a more stable schedule than LU. I didn't really see it anywhere reputable so I didn't pay it much mind, but maybe that's what got LU bothered to do something about Hernandez.

I'm excited for Yoga Hosers, Moosejaws, and Hit Somebody. I'd actually prefer if his slate didn't have the Askewniverse sequels on it, but I'll watch them and if they help him get financing for the weird flicks then great.

Yep. Frank's storyline might be the most subtle because Vaughn has to get across that it's killing him to have to return to low-level crime, but he can't reveal that to anyone because he has to posture and be menacing to get back in the game.

Something's happening here with the performances. The Frank storyline, which isn't very absorbing or original, has got me involved because Vaughn's got me feeling for him. That car scene with Kitsch and Farrell was completely contrived and clunky, but Kitsch in particular really brought it and I actually felt bad for Paul. McAdams and Farrell are forced to play a lot of similar notes and say things no human being would ever say, and they're killing it. The cast is dragging this show kicking and screaming to something emotionally involving. It's really interesting to see a group of actors working without a net and just succeeding by emoting. I'm not trying to take anything away from Pezzolato; he's taking big swings every time he steps up to the plate, but at least some of it is really problematic in every episode. Also, I'll miss fat, lazy cop; I'm assuming his storyline with Kitsch is still in play and he reported seeing him with the Army buddy to the mayor or someone else for blackmail purposes?

I'm thinking Lex comes to Supes in the guise of a friend and offers him a private army for support, but its really to drive "the red capes are coming," paranoia.

A friend half-jokingly said we might eventually get Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Flashpoint Batman, so now I'm a little less bothered by them showing the Wayne's getting killed for like the fourth time in a movie.

Hugh Jackman name-dropped Old Man Logan as the influence for the third Wolverine movie. I guess they'll have to do an original story based on it since a lot of characters they don't have the rights to play integral roles.

I think they write the entire season in advance, and the Amazon schedule would have necessitated writing during production. They should have given it a shot.

The only thing I'm disappointed with about BvS after the trailer is that they're going to waste time showing the Wayne murders again. The Suicide Squad trailer is beautiful. Can't wait to watch the actual version when it drops.
